14th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

We really appreciate all that he did and the advice he gave. We would highly recommend him and Westgate Estate Agents for selling a house.
26th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)I can't recommend Patch Property highly enough. They were very reasonable with no hidden charges and sold my property really quickly. What makes the difference though, is the communication and customer service. The girls in the office get to know you and are interested in what's happening with your situation. I'm missing my chats with Jane! All are extremely knowledgeable and know the market inside out. Many thanks to all involved.

Standard of Communication was first class, helped me in more ways than one, through providing advice and suppport with any questions I had for them. Standard was outstanding and got me way over what I thought was achievable for the sale of my house. Would definately recoment this company, you will not be disappointed. I cant fault them at all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and if I ever need them again they will be my first port of call.

Call backs and emails were responded to really promptly and no question was left unanswered. She took her time to cover every aspect of a first time purchase for me, made the experience as stress free as possible.

I have even reccomended my father in law used them to sell his property. They know the market and the advice we were given was absolutely spot on. I wouldn't buy or sell through any one else in the area.
3rd Jul 2024 (24 days ago)Honestly would give zero stars if I could. This place was not very helpful at all. Zero contact from them - I don't think that we received a single update in the whole 2 weeks we were dealing with them without having to spend hours ringing to get through ourselves. A waste of our time. Please learn to answer your phones or at least have an answering machine to tell people when you will or won’t be able to be contacted. DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT (unless you like being ignored and put on the back burner).

30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)The team at Hames Estates is very professional, and also very approachable. They take a personal interest to ensure they deliver an excellent service. Any questions are answered quickly and you never feel that you are a bother. We dealt mainly with Joe and Ellie, when selling our house and the whole process was painless. First meeting was with Joe McKenzie who is straightforward and honest. He takes the time to go through the process with you, including the very reasonable fees. Viewings are notified via text and email so easy to know who was coming and when. We were kept informed throughout and received regular feedback regarding viewings - the latter mainly by Ellie who is very friendly and helpful! Our house sold very quickly, and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hames Estates to others. Thank you!!

She helped us get our house prepped for the sale, coordinated the home report, helped us with issues we had with the home report, coordinated viewings and any questions about the house, and got us a sale price we were absolutely delighted with. We put questions to her at all hours of the day and within minutes they were answered. She is the utmost professional and I cannot recommend her business highly enough. Thank you Lesley for everything.
29th Jun 2024 (28 days ago)Over the years I've used several estate agents for both buying and selling properties. On this particular occasion I was purchasing an apartment prior to selling my existing home, and the seller had contracted Movewise to market and negotiate the sale, in the end to me. So firstly - as a buyer - I personally found Movewise to be very helpful, always happy to provide information to me as the buyer. Movewise have their own inhouse finance team which I didn't need to use on this occasion, but more on that in a bit. My purchase transaction went very smoothly and I was kept appraised throughout the whole process even when there was a slight delay in closing the deal, which was not the fault of Movewise. The seller had gone on holiday and was unable to sign the Disposition hence the slight delay. Upon the seller's return the contract and ownership exchange was promptly completed satisfactorily. Given my very positive experience with Movewise as a buyer, I didn't hesitate to engage them to sell the home I'd just moved out of to move into my new place. Just as it had gone well as a buyer so also it went smoothly and quickly as a seller. Again, I was kept fully appraised of developments my buyer was experiencing. The buyer used the Movewise inhouse finance team and given the speed from agreeing the sale through to completion, I have every reason to believe any issues or problems were quickly solved / resolved although it must be said none were brought to my attention so I assume no real issues or problems presented themselves. Communications were excellent all the way through both buying and selling and any queries were quickly answered with a professionalism I haven't really experienced with other estate agents in the various locations I've lived across the UK. So, to conclude, I extend a sincere and hearty thank you to Alex, Lyndsay and the team at Movewise Paisley.
5th Jul 2024 (22 days ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
