14th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

What makes the difference though, is the communication and customer service. The girls in the office get to know you and are interested in what's happening with your situation. I'm missing my chats with Jane! All are extremely knowledgeable and know the market inside out. Many thanks to all involved.

I cant fault them at all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and if I ever need them again they will be my first port of call.
13th Oct 2017 (6 years ago)Our flat was on the market for 9 months, our experience was up and down with selling with castlehead. I feel like we could have been listened more, issues would have been resovled sooner. Job done in end, house sold in the end????
2nd Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Alana was absolutely excellent to deal with. She was knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and kept to deadlines. Call backs and emails were responded to really promptly and no question was left unanswered. She took her time to cover every aspect of a first time purchase for me, made the experience as stress free as possible.

1st Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)As one of the Team at Slater Hogg, of course I would choose to sell my house with them. Fees were totally negotiable and I must admit I did flap a little as the viewers were slow in December. Thankfully I have now sold my home, achieving more than Home Report and the Team in Bridge of Weir have also been keeping me up-to-date with potential properties for me to buy. So happy with the price I achieved for my property. Thanks guys :)

26th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Sold me a house, then no follow up. House fell through and was made homeless no call to see what had happened? Removed the advert on Rightmove that was on before and just re added the house to Rightmove like it had been added new. Said on the phone that their job is to sell the house and nothing more. Feel like re adding a house to Rightmove is pulling the wool over people's eyes. Why remove it in the first place if it was never completed. Kept saying things often go wrong with paperwork on new builds but then refused to answer when I asked when building would be complete as that is not their job. I feel it would be morally wrong for someone to end up in our situation again but Hames just said their job is just to sell houses. So obviously screw the aftercare unless your the seller.

During covid restrictions we lost our buyer (as many did), and I feared that our new home could be lost as a result.. but this lot had our place resold within 12 hrs. It's a step beyond professional, and you still get the personal care of a family business, start to finish. They care. A lot. Highly, highly recommended.

I cannot praise Lynsey and Robert for all they're professional helpful and friendly service. Highly recommended!

However I have recently used Lesley to sell my own home and I can't rate her work highly enough. From start to finish she was open and transparent on the process, cost and what to expect. My house viewings were booked in fast and my house was sold without any issues. Lesley is so professional in what she does however she stands out from the rest with her personal approach. Her knowledge expertise and passion shines through every interaction. I will continue to refer my clients to Lesley and if I ever feel then urge to move again I will definitely be using McKirdy Estate Agents again. Thanks Lesley as always you are a diamond xx
