21st Nov 2023 (23 weeks ago)After my great review last year, I am afraid that this year I have to give a rather disappointing rate. I requested to change of bank account for rent to transfer back in Dec 2020 and my rental agreement renewed in March. I emailed to the branch manager, to ensure its all updated. She said its in the system. When it came to March, the rent went to my old account, so I emailed again, she asked me to resend the form again. She told me it was all in the system. To have a peace of mind, I called the credit control and they told me the bank account hasn't updated. So I called, and she told me I need to add a signature same as the agreement, which I did immediately. I was told the rent would be transferred yesterday or today. I didn't receive any statement or rent. I called the accounts department again to find out she was sending the blank form to them, so they are holding the payment. The accounts department told me they now received the form but it would take a process to get approval from administration and it will be more delay. I am totally shocked as to how come a simple bank account change is so complicated. Considering, I sent this request back in December last year. I feel that they passing the ball around and not sorting things out. I have to made around 8 calls and few emails to try to sort this out. As a landlord, the late rent income meaning I have to pay late charges somewhere. I really am disappointed and stress out to deal with this, which I shouldn't have to spend my time calling around their department to ensure things to sort out. Though I didn't want to make a fuss about it, but I though I needed to share my experience here. (old review in 2019) Very impressed with the great improvement of the letting services. Ann and her team has done a fantastic job to find me new tenants within couple of weeks. Great communication keeping me in the loop all the time. Highly recommended to all landlords looking for good professional and reliable estate agent in the area.

They told us less than 24 hours before we were due to move in that the house wasn't ready, making us homeless. 3 days before that, they guaranteed the house would be ready and that we could move in. Mostly the idiot landlord's fault, but they could have checked rather than making promises they couldn't possible keep. Not sure how this is allowed with no consequences in this day and age Very disappointing. There has been clear communication and they have managed all the viewings. The photos are amazing and they have always been on the end of the phone when needed.

Communication skills are exemplary at this Agent as is speed of response to asked for changes or just the excellent regular updates. They work with excellent Conveyancers DezRez. A complete package which I heartily recommend to both Sellers and Buyers. 5 *

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

10th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Can’t rate this estate agents highly enough there level of service and professionalism is second to none. we went a viewed our house on the Saturday and by the next Saturday we had the keys, such a straight forward process from start to finish. Kye and Fiona are very friendly and always responds. They make their customers feel very welcome and valued. Usually a stressful time moving house but they made sure this wasn’t the case. We look forward to setting up our home and look forward to the future. Thank you so much Gary and Samantha Dear.

19th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)We chose Steve to sell my mum's house as a few months previously he had sold our own property and the whole process had been 'exceptional'. We couldn't have asked for better. Again, with this sale, everything he did was fully professional and exemplary. He regularly went the extra mile as well as liaising with buyers, keeping in touch with both sets of solicitors and arranging independent surveyors to provide assurances to our buyers. He kept us regularly informed of progress even though we were out of the country most of the time and brought the sale to a completion quicker than we had anticipated. Having been in the Estate Agency myself, I can honestly say that Steve is the most knowledgeable, hardworking, approachable and honest agent I have ever come across. I would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him to friends and family. I can honestly say it was a pleasure dealing with him.
