19th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Very disappointing and expensive experience dealing with Leaders Cambridge. Poor communication, repeated delays, and a total lack of accountability caused significant stress and unexpected costs.<br><br>Firstly, no one showed up to my initial viewing, and during the application process I felt pressured to take out insurance covering the landlord’s possessions before even seeing a tenancy agreement, let alone signing one. I also felt they were attempting to pressure me into using their 'no-deposit scheme', as it was strongly implied that my application would be viewed less favourably than others if I opted to pay a traditional deposit.<br><br>Most seriously, my move-in date changed multiple times at short notice (once was at 4:30pm on the day I was due to move in). This was because Leaders had failed to do the appropriate safety checks prior to listing the property, which resulted in an discrepancy with the EICR certificate holding everything up. Despite assurances that this would be fixed promptly, further delays and absolutely no updates followed after an entire week. During this time, I incurred unexpected hotel, moving, and transport costs because these delays left me with no where to live.<br><br>Still with no tenancy agreement to be seen 3 weeks after paying my deposit, I was eventually left with no choice but to withdraw my application and requested the return of my £173.07 holding deposit as the statutory time frame had long since passed. At the time of writing, my decision still has not even been acknowledged after yet another week and instead I have received further pushy emails proposing new move-in dates (unsurprisingly delayed even further by the landlord deciding to paint the property).<br><br>The handling of this situation fell well below expectations and, as such, I would not recommend the use of Leaders Cambridge.

From the outset, Meg really took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for, rather than simply showing us properties that broadly matched our criteria. Her knowledge of the property market and genuinely personalised approach really set her apart and she just understood what we wanted.<br><br>We were also navigating a chain sale, and Meg’s advice throughout that process was invaluable. She was knowledgeable, proactive and reassuring, providing clear, practical guidance that made what could have been a stressful experience considerably easier.<br><br>What particularly impressed us was how invested Meg was in helping us find the right property. Her professionalism and commitment to delivering outstanding service were second to none and we are THRILLED.<br><br>We’re extremely grateful for all her help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meg to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

The market us not great at this time, there are many houses on the market and sone for several months so ism am not commenting regarding time we were on the market with them or lack of veiwings. There was a lack of communication from our agent and as the market is slow, we didn't feel that they wanted to try other ways like an open house idea or more social media presence.

As a first-time buyer, there were understandably lots of things I wasn’t familiar with, but he was incredibly friendly and approachable, very responsive and always keeping me updated, taking the time to explain things clearly whenever I had questions ????<br><br>A huge thank you to the team at William H Brown, they’re very hands-on and proactive and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property!

He immediately put us at ease, he was clear with the process and discussed the valuation rather than told us as other agents had. We were always kept informed of viewings including cancellations. They were extremely helpful with solicitors paperwork, printing, scanning and even forwarding to help us out. If he didn't have the answers, he would find out and get back to me promptly.<br>I didn't feel like I was 'just another tenant' at any stage, throughout my questions or concerns were addressed.<br>Since moving, Simon has checked to ensure that I am settled which I thought was a lovely touch.<br>I would highly recommend Newton Fallowell.

He handled our purchase with the patience of a saint, which was needed, as the sellers were not the easiest to deal with. He kept us informed at every stage, answered all of our questions (and there were a lot of them), and kept the whole thing moving when it could easily have stalled. The information flow was excellent throughout, and he was friendly and helpful the entire way. A genuine pleasure to deal with. Thank you, Gary, and highly recommended.

She’s one of those rare estate agents who genuinely loves helping people find their dream home — and it shows in every interaction.<br><br>From the start, Charlotte was incredibly patient and never made me feel rushed, even when I had very specific requirements and a few strong opinions about what I didn’t want. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and kept refining the search until she was finding properties that were almost perfect matches.
