30th Jan 2020 (4 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.

Handled the sale of our property superbly well,despite our requirement that it could not be marketed fully until we had found the property we wished to buy. Not an easy brief but they followed it and we agreed sale of our house and purchase of our next house within 24 hours! When there was a last minute issue in the sale/purchase completion, Matt dealt with it with great skill and sensitivity. Simply the best!

When she approached Matt at the Henley office she was immediately impressed by his warm and professional manner. She felt confident that he would manage to complete the sale and with good reason as a few moths later the sale was agreed. Furthermore the experience was relatively stress free as Matt managed all parts in the chain and the process ran smoothly. She and I could not recommend this business highly enough.

10th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)I spoke to someone on the phone about renting an apartment in the Reading area and the person was pretty aggressive but I didn't let it affect me and tried to continue to talk. I mentioned someone else would be viewing it in my place as I'm pretty far away and have people closer to it than I am and for some reason that set off something in him. He started to pretty much shout at which point I asked to him to calm down and he continued to raise his voice to the point where I told him in British fashion to "go do one" and he put down the phone. Been searching for a property to move into for a little while and have found once since then but this was the only negative encounter with a estate company. Would not recommend working with them and In all honestly not surprised they are small

They've kept me in touch with what's going on behind the scenes, so to speak. Overall, I'm very happy. The only downside is the costs are high. But I don't have anything to compare it too. ???? (33 reviews)2nd Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)We were looking for a property in Earley/lower Earley We came across many agents however for this particular property which was marketed by Whiteknights, we met their estate agent Amilcar who understood our situation and was very helpful and quick to get us not only the landlord approval and then the tenancy process started. I found Amilcar very helpful and understanding and at the same time Very professional and doing all the checks very thoroughly One particular agent in the area is asking more rent than what is marketed and is starting a price war Based on my recent experience I will recommend Whiteknights and Especially Amilcar

We were kept informed of every development (often on a daily basis) and provided with excellent advice on how best to proceed. What could have potentially been a difficult and protracted sale went through very smoothly. We would 100% recommend Elsewhere and Bernard in particular.
