28th Jan 2026 (12 days ago)EDIT! Realised I had already reviewed this after the classic "please leave me a review". Anyway - Chancellors are not the best ???? Sam is great - he probably should be working somewhere better. The staff are clearly under-resourced. I think I ended up doing pretty much all the viewings for prospective new tennants when the estate agents didn't show up. They contract out their property management to Oxon Property Management - the set up of going through a centralised email system makes you want to tear your hair out and they were terrible to deal with. We got charged for very nonsensical things on departure that we successfully challenged - but Oxon/Chancellors really should have picked this up on our behalf. --- We have had a very positive experience with Chancellors estate agents. We needed to relocate short notice following completion of our house sale and relocating to a new area for work. From initial enquiries with Sam Hinton, he was fantastic at recommending a property that met our requirements perfectly whilst also enabling our quick turnaround. Sam was exceptionally efficient and went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service which was personal and professional, and also dedicated which enabled our move to happen quickly. I would also like to thank Maram in the head office for her help in ensuring the property was ready for us to move into. Thank you very much to Chancellors, we would definitely recommend!

Highly recommended for a friendly and professional agent, both Richard and Paul seamlessly looked after the sale of our late mother's home.

23rd Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)Property is great, but whenever we experience a problem or issue, it always takes months to fix it or at least weeks to even get a response. I'm still waiting on my wardrobe door to be fixed that broke in September. I message them via WhatsApp asking for updates and can see that they have seen the messages but they don't reply back.

Felt like I had made new friends as their support was fantastic during a very tough period. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services as I’m 100% happy with service received and higher price achieved. He said he would market and get buyer within 2-3 weeks maximum and he sold it in two. All the paperwork came in quickly. Tge best!

A special mention goes to Jo for conducting the sale of our property in Caversham Heights and to Liana for dealing with everything from when sale agreed.

They have always provided a first class service whether it be selling a property or the renting out and management of my properties. A special mention must go to James Hathaway and his team and Trudy Zemaitis. They are both rockstars !! Cannot recommend enough.

25th Nov 2025 (11 weeks ago)We engaged Beville Estate Agency to sell our house in Kidmore End which we successfully sold. The entire team comprising Richard, Marcus Karen and Joe were absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process. They helped when we had to put in a new drainage treatment plant, chased the Environmental Agency and kept the buyers informed on progress. We had two failed purchases and they remarketed with enthusiasm and also quickly found a new buyer. Their work does not stop when a sale is agreed. It only then starts as they then chase everyone to ensure momentum is maintained. We were so happy we even increased their fee which in itself speaks volumes of their service. We can’t recommend them highly enough. If you are considering selling you really must speak with them. They know the market intimately and give a great service. What they did for us was more than “sell your house”, they are a private local and highly motivated local company that is well respected and gets results.
22nd Dec 2025 (7 weeks ago)We recently bought our house from Farmer and Dyer and they were excellent in particular Simon. We had some uncertainty through the chain and he consistently went above and beyond to help even though this wasn’t his property but others in the chain. He always was responsive, proactive and made time to help and I think the main reason that everything worked out was because of him. Couldn’t recommend him and Farmer and Dyer enough!

27th Jan 2026 (13 days ago)Tristan Redburn was the third estate agent we had, after 2 failed sales. The service he provides goes way way beyond any other agent, and he quickly found us a buyer who actually got to completion. Tristan was available literally 24/7; we felt like we were his only clients (we weren't!) and he was highly professional and exceptionally flexible throughout. Having found us a buyer he chased the conveyancing process to ensure there were no delays, pushing to maintain momentum while also keeping a friendly, approachable manner. He gave good advice and steered us through difficult negotiations. We would 100% recommend him to anyone; he is absolute gold. Can't recommend him highly enough.

There were many aspects where Jason went above and beyond to help us with the purchase. Throughout the entire process Jason was easy to contact, happy to help with any questions and a real pleasure to deal with. We now have our house and would highly recommend Jason and the entire Knight Frank Henley team.
