30th Jan 2020 (6 years ago)Martyn was very helpful upon my move in and viewing. However when it was time for me to move out, they withheld some of my deposit money because the property wasn't clean enough. I didn't complain when upon my move in the floor was as dirty as the grount outside, but now I got charged money because I didn't clean? They even provided pictures about how it wasn't "clean". There was no dirt on the pictures.
1st Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. 22nd Jul 2026 (21 days ago)It’s not easy having to sell your parents empty home but Ben at BALLARDS made it a whole lot easier. Very friendly, no BS! We had the usual when we were near exchange, with buyers trying to knock the price down, but Ben did a Stirling job for us.<br>Highly recommend

Disgraceful.<br>On the 26 July, one of the senior staff at the branch tried to gain entry to a property that I am renting from them without calling me first.<br><br>And it seems as though they were only nice to me when they get their way. The moment something goes wrong, they can be quite nasty.<br><br>If you concur, please tap on the thumbs up Like.
3rd Aug 2026 (9 days ago)Terrible,<br>Don’t answer the phones, don’t progress sales.<br>I’ve seen other reviews talk about hiccups- we never got started !<br>Months lost by this Estate Agent. They employ someone to progress the sale … I had to constantly chase the person who was supposed to be doing the chasing.
4th Aug 2026 (8 days ago)As a buyer we were very impressed with A H Lansley particularly Cynthia who was very friendly and helpful both on the phone and showing us the house and Sarah who worked hard to chase up all parts of the chain and worked to get us in to our new home. We love our new home but if we do sell in the future we would use this estate agents. Thank you!

7th Aug 2026 (5 days ago)We've rented from Walmsley for 3 years and have had fantastic communication and really quick responses from them.<br><br>The lettings team led by Beth has been exceptional, and also Leona is really good at keeping us updated on inspections etc.<br><br>Nothing but praise for them and highly recommend if you are thinking of rental or a landlord looking for management.
1st May 2026 (15 weeks ago)Whiteknights failed to progress the sale of our property up until the last minute when it collapsed due to them not checking a basic fact such as the buyers giving their two-month notice to their landlord. The buyers pulled out on account of having to pay £887 extra on a half a million pound purchase to meet a completion date the whole chain had agreed to extend at the buyers request. Whiteknights did not check they had served their notice on time to meet the completion date, did not inform us they hadn't, they just informed us last minute when the sale ultimately collapsed. We're left to remarket the house now after 6 months in this process and to continue incurring costs, as well as breaking two separate chains. Still stunned by how utterly appalling Whiteknights have been.

From the very beginning, Robbie was calm, cheerful and incredibly helpful, no matter what challenges came up during the sales process.<br><br>He kept us informed every step of the way, checked in regularly to make sure everything was progressing smoothly, and always offered clear, helpful guidance whenever we needed it. His positivity and excellent communication made what could have been a stressful process much easier.<br><br>We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Romans at Woodley to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. The extra options he provides as standard helped us sell our house by generating viewers as soon as it went on the market. We sold in one day. 31st Jul 2026 (12 days ago)We had a frustrating experience with RP. All the people that worked there were lovely, knowledgeable and approachable. However, the communication is what made the experience challenging. We would go weeks and weeks without hearing anything, and after precious viewings we just wouldn’t hear back. We’d have to keep calling just to get feedback. Ultimately we have chosen to move to a different estate agent; RP just couldn’t give the time and attention needed to sell our flat.
