26th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)My husband and I have been on our house purchase journey since getting married in 2023 and were recommended by family to speak with Daniel Appleby. Although we weren’t in the position to buy in 2023, Dan always stayed in touch after giving us our initial consultation. Fast forward to 2026, Dan with all his expertise helped us understand our options and this time we started the journey properly! There aren’t enough words to describe the care aspect Dan has for his clients, it’s so personalised that sometimes I forget he works with others! We always felt like he put us first. Because of Dan alongside with the fantastic and professional recommended solicitors, we have been able to become homeowners in just 2 months of house viewing. The team at Roger Platt LE are all also very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Plus they make a great cup of tea for when you have an in person appointment! Would 100% recommend.
1st Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. 21st Apr 2026 (16 days ago)A very good service from start to conclusion of sale of our property. Guidance was offered from a number of staff members namely Ricky, Barnaby and Sarah. We were kept updated throughout the process with step by step advise both over the phone and by email until the complication of the transaction. Would highly recommend their sale and letting services great staff

18th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I can’t recommend Ben and the team at Ballards Twyford highly enough. We appointed Ben for our recent sale as his knowledge of the local Wargrave market was clearly a level above all the other agents we spoke to, and he gave us the confidence that he’d achieve the value we were looking for for our home. The photos and floor plans were arranged very quickly, and were excellent quality. But the best thing was Ben’s communication throughout the process, we were always kept up to date and Ben was always quick to step in to help keep things moving - we ended up exchanging less than 3 months after confirming the appointment, and we’ll be completing on the date first requested by our buyers at the outset, so a great result all round, particularly with four parties in the chain. Thanks Ben and team!
4th May 2026 (3 days ago)We have found our Agent Miranda Menzies to be very helpful, hard working, professional and feel we would not have sold our property if it was not for her. Definitely use Property Experts if you want a smooth sale without the promises other estate agents gave us and did not deliver.
23rd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)We sold our property with Chancellor's recently and I must say the service from start to finish was exceptional. Rob gave us confidence in the sale from our first meeting for the valuation. He had very clear ideas on how to promote the property and what it was worth. We took a chance with Rob's suggested asking price that was significantly higher than quoted by other agents, and after a very quick launch to market and an open house the following week, we had multiple asking price offers and accepted an offer above the asking price, which was all the evidence we needed that we chose the right agent. Throughout the process, we were kept updated by Naomi and the office team, who did everything to make an ordinarily stressful time almost stress free. The service from everyone was outstanding and I would recommend the team to anyone looking to sell or buy.

1st May 2026 (6 days ago)My experience with romans was mixed, there was a few things I weren’t happy about with e.g how I was told I shouldn’t put offers on more than 1 property at the same time etc. I understand from a business perspective romans have to stay impartial and have the best solution for both parties, but I believe that’s part of business. However my experience with Filip Podgorski directly is what led to me to write this review. Filip was very responsive and understanding and catered towards my needs whilst making me feel seen. Nowadays it’s hard to find people in customer service jobs that go the extra mile with empathy and Filip done just that. I hope this review is picked up by the team and he gets the recognition he deserves.

7th Apr 2026 (30 days ago)We have just had what I can only describe as a traumatic experience with this estate agent, they are absolutely appalling. Daniel Lowry did the valuation which was ok. His wife Julie staged the house which was fine. Niche did the photography & they were great. Richard did all the viewings & he was great. Then we accepted an offer & Jeremy was assigned ’Sales Progressor’ which I assume is an ironic title because I have never encountered anyone so ill-equipped to progress anything in my life. His only discernible talent appears to be sending utterly pointless WhatsApps. We accepted an offer in July of 2025 & despite J telling us in September & October that we were about to exchange contracts, several times (but no other detail) our solicitor then informed us on November 4th that there had been ‘no written communication from our buyers buyer since July’. When we called J to discuss this he went from being defensive to aggressive - blaming absolutely anyone & everyone but taking no responsibility what-so-ever himself. He suggested it was the fault of our buyers, their solicitors, our buyers buyer, their estate agents…absolutely anyone but him! He told us that ‘you are not the only one to be lied to here, I’ve been lied to as well!!’ A breathtaking lack of self awareness & he ended the conversation not with an apology as we had expected, no - he told us our buyers estate agents had been ‘b - ———-ing him!’ I have had the misfortune of dealing with a number of unprofessional & untrustworthy individuals in my time but Jeremy & Daniel top them all! Daniel became involved in proceedings when it was clear that Jeremy had not been progressing our sale AT ALL. Unfortunately rather than apologise & try to smooth things over, Daniel took the same (baffling) stance that Jeremy had! It was all someone else’s fault, it was nothing to do with Property Assistant & he made no attempt to apologise. I really think they need to ask for a refund from the training company they use because this ‘take no responsibility or accountability what-so-ever’ position is not compatible with decent business practice. When we issued PA with a deadline for exchanging contracts, Daniel’s response was to completely ignore us & cease communication until the date that we had given when he sent us a WhatsApp telling us we needed to get rid of our buyers & they would find us a new one?! We finally parted company with them In the New Year & went on the market with Winkworth (who were excellent) & whom I would recommend. There is a truly hilarious element to this sorry tale - Property Assistant actually has the audacity to charge above the market rate in selling fees!!!! To call Property Assistant’s business practices unprofessional churlish & immature would I fear be unfair to unprofessional churlish & immature people. *PLEASE DON’T LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES - avoid this circus like the plague**

I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!

6th May 2026 (1 day ago)The process has been remarkably quick and efficient from receiving the Get Agent information on the 3-5 top performing local estate agents, to selecting our Personal Estate agent who has excellent knowledge of the local environment and current sales values. She supported our presentation of the home and her pre-publicity and social media "video teasers" were a highly useful marketing tool. We had received an offer before going to market due to her knowledge of local buyers. We did however wait to open market and have had an offer within 10days!

From the outset, he was approachable, knowledgeable and generous with his time, offering clear advice without pressure. His guidance on timing the market, particularly around seasonal trends and external factors, felt balanced and genuinely in our best interests. Communication was consistent. Mark regularly checked in, kept us updated and followed up diligently after viewings with feedback. We were impressed with the quality of the marketing which helped generate strong early interest. During negotiations, Mark showed persistence. He helped secure a strong outcome, giving us confidence at each step. Importantly, he remained engaged well beyond the initial sale agreed stage, supporting the process through survey, solicitor queries and the inevitable delays that come with a property sale. What stood out most was his willingness to go above and beyond, whether assisting with practical matters at the property while we were overseas or simply being available when needed. Overall, a highly professional, trustworthy and personable service. We would not hesitate to recommend Mark at Bespoke.
