We only put the house on the market at the end of September and we are moving out mid January. We would certainly recommend them.

24th Mar 2025 (5 weeks ago)I telephoned Connells regarding a new property to the market in North Baddesley today. The chap I spoke to was obviously in a bad mood and was very abrupt. This is not the way to encourage customers.
31st Mar 2025 (29 days ago)I dealt with Franklin Allan to purchase my first home. From the beginning the team were friendly and happy to help. Jason was my main contact and he couldn't have assisted more. Phone calls and emails at a time that suited me. Given I'm working full time, able to assist at the end of the day and on a Saturday. Thank you to the team for their support through the unknown.
19th Apr 2024 (1 year ago)Henshaw Fox was not an agent known to me and their premises are not on the main shopping street of the town BUT they are all very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They kept us in the loop at all times even when we away from home. They quickly had all marketing completed for on line sites and photos available.
17th Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)Rebecca Payne was great. Initial valuation was over optimistic and they almost immediately back pedalled with how the market had changed in a week so the value was now much lower (a very frustrating tactic). Also they advised using a solicitor (in Cardiff) who actually give them a £450 kick back (the agents did not mention this). The solicitors were difficult to contact and could not make international calls (?!) so not much use for me as I live in Canada. Rebecca was good at bridging the gap with the solicitors and was always super helpful and patient with my frustrations. Overall a pretty typical experience I think. The relationship with the Cardiff solicitors should be made very clear. I suspect failing to make it clear is probably illegal. I would definitely have used a local solicitor in retrospect but might use Austin Wyatt again.
24th Mar 2025 (5 weeks ago)My husband and I recently managed to get a property with Hamptons and we had an amazing experience. I got Charlie as my property manager and she is just fabulous, her quick responses and information you need she will help you with everything. She is so kind that she supported us throughout the whole process of tenancy and moving in a new property and out of the previous Apartment, things were much easier to sort out with her help. I met other people at the office as well and they treated us very nicely. I am so happy to be able to get a property through them. I would highly recommend people to come and visit or seek help to get yours ????
17th Dec 2021 (3 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!
19th Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)Polite, friendly staff. Named agent who was our person on the case - always returned calls promptly if they were busy when I called. Good, efficient service. They have a dedicated person to help push things through with solicitors which really helped, and they have local solicitors with whom they have a good relationship that you can use and that helps speed things along. In general: I learnt that these days, estate agents come having done an internet search to determine the value of your home - that seems to remain even when unknown extra features are divulged, so don't suppose your loft conversion or your solar panels are making your property vastly better than others. Thanks to the market changes, I sold for way lower than the initial valuation but as friends of mine advised me - the value of a house is dependent on what people are prepared to pay for it. If houses like yours are ten-a-penny you won't be able to keep a high asking price; if the market crashes or interest rates go up, people don't make the offers you dream of. I also think that an agent calculates the commission they will receive on the first (for example) 300k, if they say to you you'll get near 400K, that's just a bonus for them; when the house doesn't sell for months and months they start pushing you to accept lower offers because they are still advertising the house and showing people round, but they are not getting their money yet. I found it odd that it was quite clear they did not want me showing people round or even being there (they said if I was in when they appeared with a viewer they would give me time to leave!), and as it was an empty property with a neighbour's car in the garage I was asked 'when is that going' as if it was their house. They looked put-out when I said 'when the house is sold'. They did give good advice on how to present the house - it being vacant it was important to leave some furniture to give an idea of space - people will wonder if their sofa or bed would fit in a room for example. They know the area and the market and help guide you through (even if there is a hint of sometimes forgetting whose house it is) and I would recommend them.
22nd Apr 2024 (1 year ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall

They found a buyer for my property after three weeks and although the transaction proved to be more complicated than anticipated, the support I received from Amanda at Sparks Ellison was critical and much appreciated in helping to reach the finishing line. I also bought a property through Sparks Ellison and their professionalism and excellent communication from all their staff illustrated their high level of engagement with their clients. Wouldn't use another estate agents.

1st Jan 2025 (17 weeks ago)Our friends and family were outraged at the poor marketing of our property in that it did not reflect its spaciousness and luxury that it is. After two weeks they insisted on a price reduction and focussed on all the "negatives" that is things we cannot change and are inherent of the property. Your job is to overcome those not use them to beat us down after a single viewing. We now have an agent who is truly passionate about our property and have produced a professional video and images and really are in the 21st century when it comes to marketing and professionalism.
25th Feb 2025 (9 weeks ago)Awful Estate Agents made a sale more stressful never kept us updated , did not carry out their promised, often gave wrong information, would not check rest of chain - in the end we spoke to Charters (who we purchased through) who we great - updated us weekly - Sold our property in January 2024 and finally moving today

We chose Arc because Dawn was really knowledgable about properties in the area, and they valued our home more accurately than other estate agents. They also took brilliant photos and videos which really helped our house sell, and we accepted an offer within just a few weeks of going live (over Christmas too!) Angela and the team were honestly more helpful than our solicitors the whole way through – I wouldn’t go with anyone else.
