9th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Truly first rate experience from start to finish.<br><br>Of the 3 higher end national estate agents we invited around to value our home last November, there was one standout - Knight Frank.<br><br>Ed Hunt and Lottie Lambert from Knight Frank’s Winchester office displayed a level of pre-preparation I was very surprised to see. They came armed with the floor plan and previous sales particulars (we had bought 7 years prior through another agent), and immediately remarked on the improvements we had made. Such was their level of professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for our home that my wife and I both said afterwards that there was no competition; we wanted them to sell our house.<br><br>While the market has been challenging, Knight Frank succeeded in finding two buyers / and offers for us in a period of weeks; and helped us cultivate the most promising of the two while they marketed their own house in Balham. That sale was being conducted through Knight Frank’s Balham office, ensuring great communication all round.<br><br>Lottie has been with us every step of the way and with the sale now exchanged, I felt it right to post this review (entirely unsolicited) to highlight what I consider exemplary service throughout. Would highly recommend. Sincere thanks from both of us.

We felt at ease and she went above and beyond in being able to find us the best rates and prices to suit our needs. A special to James Bell, the Lettings Manager, who has once again done an excellent job. James managed to find the right tenants for our property quickly, with no gap in tenancy, which is exactly what every landlord hopes for. This is just one example of the many seamless and professional services they provide.<br>I highly recommend Andover Connells to anyone looking for reliable and efficient lettings support.
16th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)I have used Austin Hawk before and had a positive experience, so I came back to them in April 2026 for a tenant find. Unfortunately this time around the experience was completely different and I would not recommend them to any landlord based on what followed. First, they drafted a tenancy agreement with my name spelled incorrectly throughout, an error entirely of their own making, and then had the audacity to try and charge me £150 plus VAT to fix it. After pushing back firmly this was eventually dropped, but it set the tone for everything that followed. The applicant they sourced had failed to disclose her husband's intended occupation on her application form, her referencing form, and verbally at viewing when their own member of staff specifically asked who would be moving in. This only came to light after agreements had been signed and money had changed hands. At that point their own written advice to me was that they would not legally be comfortable proceeding due to statutory overcrowding risk. So their own agent confirmed the tenancy was legally unsafe, yet they still pursued me for their full setup fee. What followed was months of back and forth in which they consistently avoided engaging with the legal arguments I put to them in writing, ignored the specific clauses of their own contract that clearly showed no fee was due, and simply repeated that I should pay up. It was only when I formally invoked their complaints procedure and referenced The Property Ombudsman that they agreed to settle at a significantly reduced figure. The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and time consuming. I felt that they knew their position was weak but pushed it regardless, hoping I would simply give in. I did not, but not everyone has the time or knowledge to fight back. If you are a landlord considering using Austin Hawk, read their Terms of Business carefully before signing anything and make sure everything discussed verbally is confirmed in writing. You may need it.

Jamie has been extremly helpful ,courteous and very obliging in every aspect making the purchase relatively smooth right up to completion and we are most grateful for all the help and advise offered. Nothing was too much when asked to contact the seller for information regarding the property advise on local authorities and services. we can recommend Jamie highly for his professionalism and attitude for a smooth conclusion of a property purchase S P and BF

They were extremely accommodating when arranging viewings and went the extra mile to make things easier for us during a very stressful time. Would highly recommend and use them in the future. However, Dyble’s and their team made everything so simple. From having a dedicated home page to submit and sign documents and helping quickly and professionally with any issues we had at the property. We worked with multiple members of the team during our renting process, and all were kind and attentive to any issue we had. I couldn’t recommend the hard-working team enough.

The real challenge is keeping things running smoothly thereafter and with a large chain, that is challenging… the staff at Rowe & Co were fantastic. They were also super proficient in steering towards a successful completion- in particular Audrey who was amazing - she went over and above, holding our chain together and keeping that all important link between agents and solicitors! Would thoroughly recommend!
