28th Feb 2024 (7 weeks ago)Terrible service. Failed in the basic- checking source and availability of funds of buyer. Left us out of pocket by many thousands of pounds when at exchange the buyer had no funds. Failed to follow their own complaints procedure by ignoring our emails.

10th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)Although we didn’t end up buying through Connells in Eastleigh (we bought through their Romsey branch), Dan, Hobbie and Hayden could not have been more helpful. They took time to understand our needs, explained everything in as much detail as we needed, and even gave honest advice relating to properties being sold by other agents when asked (those other agents, incidentally, didn’t appear to have the level of knowledge Connells do). We truly felt like Connells were working with us to find the right property at the right price, rather than just wanting to sell to us. Highly recommended from a buyers perspective.
14th Apr 2024 (5 days ago)I have had a great experience of using Your Move in Southampton. Charlie came to estimate the sale price of my house and was really upfront and honest, I felt I could trust him immediately as he was saying his honest opinions rather than what I might want to hear as other estate agents had done. Frances was great througout, arranging my viewing of properties for me to buy and always prompt and helpful. Then finally Sam has been really tenacious in getting my purchase through and driving the solicitors onwards. Thanks to you all so much! A really great experience.

No proper feedback on viewings and when requested a price decrease on line it wasn’t actioned on the first request then actioned on the second but got the price wrong. Not a great start
16th Jan 2024 (13 weeks ago)Appalling service. We signed up with these awful agents for 20 weeks! What a nightmare . Sam over priced our home but we went with what he suggested. Weeks on with no viewings I called him, I emailed him, I left messages with staff. At one time I called and was told Sam and his manager were out delivering leaflets! That’s the type of rubbish they tell you!( or it could be true!) We wanted our price lowered as they valued it too high. They ignored our requests completely. They are appalling. I even left a message to tell them what a discussing service they were. Not one person called back to at least try to talk it through! We are planning on selling and will be back on the market when the time is right and we have already found our agent to market our home. She’s completely different to Sam from fox and sons. No bull. Just plain talking. I say be very careful if you sign a contract with these awful estate agents. They will ignore you. Appalling service from Sam and Millie.However, on the flip of the coin I would like to thank them whole heartedly as now I have learnt a very hard lesson as to not get sucked into the bull that falls out of some peoples mouths.

17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

They managed well dealing with a probate situation, incompetent solicitors and Christmas timetables. The sales team were sensitive to uncomfortable situations and their closure team was tenacious and undertook the necessary steps to keep the momentum going. I would easily recommend them and wish them all the best with their future sales. It's nice to have a local company deal in their local area of expertise, rather than dropping in from afar.

Very helpful, kept in touch throughout the sale and achieved it quickly and efficiently. Streets above his competitors & would highly recommend (& use him again if he were in my new area!)

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
