9th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)Truly first rate experience from start to finish.<br><br>Of the 3 higher end national estate agents we invited around to value our home last November, there was one standout - Knight Frank.<br><br>Ed Hunt and Lottie Lambert from Knight Frank’s Winchester office displayed a level of pre-preparation I was very surprised to see. They came armed with the floor plan and previous sales particulars (we had bought 7 years prior through another agent), and immediately remarked on the improvements we had made. Such was their level of professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for our home that my wife and I both said afterwards that there was no competition; we wanted them to sell our house.<br><br>While the market has been challenging, Knight Frank succeeded in finding two buyers / and offers for us in a period of weeks; and helped us cultivate the most promising of the two while they marketed their own house in Balham. That sale was being conducted through Knight Frank’s Balham office, ensuring great communication all round.<br><br>Lottie has been with us every step of the way and with the sale now exchanged, I felt it right to post this review (entirely unsolicited) to highlight what I consider exemplary service throughout. Would highly recommend. Sincere thanks from both of us.
3rd Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I have been using Andover Connells for some time now and they never fail to impress. A special to James Bell, the Lettings Manager, who has once again done an excellent job. James managed to find the right tenants for our property quickly, with no gap in tenancy, which is exactly what every landlord hopes for. This is just one example of the many seamless and professional services they provide.<br>I highly recommend Andover Connells to anyone looking for reliable and efficient lettings support.
16th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)I have used Austin Hawk before and had a positive experience, so I came back to them in April 2026 for a tenant find. Unfortunately this time around the experience was completely different and I would not recommend them to any landlord based on what followed. First, they drafted a tenancy agreement with my name spelled incorrectly throughout, an error entirely of their own making, and then had the audacity to try and charge me £150 plus VAT to fix it. After pushing back firmly this was eventually dropped, but it set the tone for everything that followed. The applicant they sourced had failed to disclose her husband's intended occupation on her application form, her referencing form, and verbally at viewing when their own member of staff specifically asked who would be moving in. This only came to light after agreements had been signed and money had changed hands. At that point their own written advice to me was that they would not legally be comfortable proceeding due to statutory overcrowding risk. So their own agent confirmed the tenancy was legally unsafe, yet they still pursued me for their full setup fee. What followed was months of back and forth in which they consistently avoided engaging with the legal arguments I put to them in writing, ignored the specific clauses of their own contract that clearly showed no fee was due, and simply repeated that I should pay up. It was only when I formally invoked their complaints procedure and referenced The Property Ombudsman that they agreed to settle at a significantly reduced figure. The whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and time consuming. I felt that they knew their position was weak but pushed it regardless, hoping I would simply give in. I did not, but not everyone has the time or knowledge to fight back. If you are a landlord considering using Austin Hawk, read their Terms of Business carefully before signing anything and make sure everything discussed verbally is confirmed in writing. You may need it.

My buying process wasn't straight forward but she was always on hand to answer questions and reassure me. This is especially great as a first time buyer, the process can feel overwhelming but Ali was amazing every step of the way! 10/10 would recommend to anyone currently looking to buy.
17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

The entire team have been incredibly supportive and proactive throughout the entire process, especially when encountering unexpected difficulties along the way. Their knowledge of the local market has been invaluable, as has their professional yet extremely friendly advice. We would recommend them without hesitation.
22nd Apr 2024 (2 years ago)I have been working with Lindsay Johnn for almost a year on the sale of my mother's house. I live in California, and the house was in probate and other agents and lawyers kept telling me how many potential complications I was likely to run into, but when I met Lindsay, instead of worrying me, she reassured me and filled me with confidence! Yes, of course we ran into a couple of problems, but Lindsay always met us with solutions even before she told us what the problem was!???? To say she is cool under fire is an understatement. Her customer service was second to none. As I said, I live in California, and if I emailed her in the evening my time she wouldn't just email me back when she woke up, she would call me the next morning on my way to work! As I said, the house was in probate, so it required a long period of time before exchange of contracts and completion, which required strong negotiation skills on her part, and she got us what we needed! I only met Lindsay once in person, and I only regret that I wasn't able to work more with her in person, as apart from being a wonderful estate agent, she is a lovely person too! If you don't retain Lindsay to buy or sell you a house, you are missing out! Dominic Fergus-Bentall

They have been extremely professional, great communication and understanding that my mum is elderly and being very patient with her. I received regular updates on the progress of the sale, and my specific requests were responded to professionally and promptly. However, Dyble’s and their team made everything so simple. From having a dedicated home page to submit and sign documents and helping quickly and professionally with any issues we had at the property. We worked with multiple members of the team during our renting process, and all were kind and attentive to any issue we had. I couldn’t recommend the hard-working team enough.- 10th Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Required details regarding commercial building valuation and was put through to the chartered surveyor. An honest and extremely helpful discussion on what's involved and how to proceed. Highly recommended as a point of contact and will not hesitate to use should the need arise.

Both the experiences have been great and Charters have always stood out in terms of the service quality they offer (esp compared to other agencies). Tom in particular has been very helpful throughout the process from managing the sales negotiation to sales progression and has always been approachable and very responsive with regards to any questions we had. The rest of the team we have spoken to, Lottie, Paul and Alex have been great to work with as well.
