10th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Shocking .....the admin staff are officious rude and insulting... they hide in the bushes with cameras policing a shared car park like vipers... but this sort of behaviours may be needed in your defthe court room. ???? personally I would use another firm.

Really felt like they went the extra mile to make a difficult and complicated process very simple for my elderly mother. Our purchase came with more than its fair share of issues, but Kieran went above and beyond at every stage. He kept in regular contact, was always proactive in resolving problems, and genuinely worked tirelessly to help the sale go through. Kieran was not only professional and polite, but also showed real care and consideration for both us and the seller. The rest of the team at McCartneys were also very helpful and supportive throughout, which we really appreciated. Overall, the service couldn’t have been better. Highly recommended.

27th Aug 2025 (24 weeks ago)I am not qualified to review Halls as an organisation, but I am eminently qualified to review the help given to me by the delightful member of staff who dealt with my consignment, which was directly connected with Stalag Luft III and the Great Escape. If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.

29th Jan 2026 (14 days ago)Despite an extremely difficult housing market, which Mark Wiggin had explained to us when we decided to sell the property, one has now been completed. The agents nevertheless managed to organise many viewings. The feedback, given the political situation, was invariably that the house was too large. Mark ensured that we were kept up to date with the situation, with feedback following every viewing, and did so on occasion by visiting us at our home to encourage our morale. The property remained on the market for well over a year, but in late 2025 we had two serious offers and one of the potential purchasers completed the sale in December. We could not recommend a more diligent, efficient and friendly company.

Was very impressed with the media service gathering photos and videos of our home in preparation for it to go on the market. During the sell we were regularly updated on progress and they were readily contactable and available to help. Great service!
