9th Nov 2024 (19 weeks ago)Really disappointing experience. Some of the viewers they sent were a total waste of time - clearly not interested in a property like ours. Communication was non existent unless we got in touch first. That includes when we were clearly not going to make the initial date for exchange. Only thing they managed to do without us telling them to was putting their final bill into our solicitor.
24th Feb 2025 (27 days ago)Two years ago I had an awful experience selling my house unsuccessfully through the local branch of a national estate agent. I then used Howard Douglas Estate Agents to sell and the service was exemplary. Very professional, attentive and very good at feedback following any viewings. They have sold my house with the minimum of fuss or stress having been totally honest and straightforward throughout the proceedings. Oh and they are very friendly too.. the icing on the cake of an altogether excellent service! Thank you!!

The process has been easy as Hanna is so calm but efficient and every small detail sorted. Dexter definitely rose to the difficulties of a failed sale with enthusiasm and had further applicants lined up within an instance! Always looking on the bright side and with humour! Thank you so much - I would definitely recommend Allsworth Property in a "heart beat"!

After each viewing we would receive very similar feedback each time and didn’t manage to sell the property even after all the months we were with them. Sold with another company after only a few days.

This agent doesn't have any reviews- 18th Nov 2024 (18 weeks ago)No viewings, then called by another agent to say they are closing. Few days later, had a letter from the other agent confirming it! Called WH, who confirmed it! Shouldn’t clients be informed first? Was putting sale on hold anyway until after Christmas as the market is flat. Another agent has had no sales since May!

22nd Feb 2025 (29 days ago)All of the team at Pilkington Estates were friendly and knowledgeable. It was great to be able to call or text and get a prompt response, which is something we were unable to achieve with our previous agent. They were able to sell our property but we did unfortunately take a significant hit. We would have preferred to have achieved more from the sale but we’re pleased to have sold to a couple who fell in love with our home which is great to know as we have invested time, money and love into it during our decade of ownership. Thank you to the team for supporting us in our move!
9th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)STAY CLEAR FROM HERE THEY WILL TELL YOU LIES they promised us that with a guarantor our bad credit wouldn't matter just so they could keep our holding fee absolute horrible company don't fall for there tricks , my wife became very sick after dealing with these crooks, every bit of information that we knew about which was most was revealed to them and after they convincing us with a guarantor this couldn't happen they still kept it , legal action is the only way you will get your money bk We have been through the complaint procedure with no success this is exactly what you want people to do when there homeless or nearly homeless you do this and hope people will roll over lie and more lies

This review mirrors another listed here in so far as the prejudice attitude of Martyn Halls et al is far from savory. We were moving to the area due to work commitments, both jobs in place, good references and homeowners too, you would think that we would tick every box. Shortlisted a house listed on Rendells catalogue, unfortunately their lettings manager did everything in his power to be obstructive and evasive, after a great deal of persuasion on our part we managed to secure a viewing, only to be met by more dismissive behaviour, they guy couldn't even maintain eye contact. With deadlines approaching we offered to pay 3 months up front, to then be told that they would be letting to a local tenant, the house had been on the letting market months, and miraculously somebody else appeared at the exact same time as us, this is prejudice. We moved on and gound another property, but didn't stop there, Martin Halls then contacted and asked if we were still interested, to then turn around and tell us it is rented out, very odd behaviour. Would never recommend this company
