His personal and continuous engagement ensured a positive outcome and I would say it has been a pleasure to have his support and guidance as we have navigated what appeared, to the uninitiated, to be a really complex process. 10th Feb 2024 (24 weeks ago)Unfortunately Shortland Horne had my property on their books for 19 weeks and only managed to secure 2 viewings in that time frame One of those viewings was a buyer that could only offer £30k below the asking price due to mortgage restrictions I was advised to reduce the price by £10k but this still didn't yeld viewings or offers despite the property being completely renovated with no chain I was impressed with the pitch when choosing an estate agent and chose Shortland Horne over others but the reality of the selling process has not met expectations

Knight Frank - Excellence with the highest possible professional standards of integrity, trust and genuine care delivered by their Exeter Office team– notably Florence, Racheal, Leonie, Rebecca. In fact, the whole team. They found us two suitable buyers within a week! Their conduct was exemplary in terms of communicating, empathy, reassuring and reality – an estate agency which genuinely understands the emotions and needs of people as well as the practical aspects of selling homes. They are second to none – ‘Knights to be trusted' - professional decent agents who can effectively secure a sale with the least amount of stress. Communicating and engaging throughout the whole conveyance - always there. Keeping us informed. Knight Frank Exeter has a brilliant business ethos balancing, with integrity, the buyers and sellers’ emotions and needs to their own business purpose. To them customers really do come first. We even received a hamper from them on exchange - it is us who should be giving them a hamper! Highly recommended – I just hope we can now buy from them! 9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)I sold my house with Chamberlains, achieving 2 offers at asking price within days of going to market. Zoe & Sam in the bovey tracey office were both friendly, helpful and efficient. I then made an offer on a property that was also on their books. I can honestly say that my experience of both a sale and a purchase were as stress free as possible. I would 100% recommend them and I wouldnt think twice about using them again in the future.

4th Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)STAGNANT Paid for full management and they: - allowed tenant to redecorate entire property, rewire most light fittings, damage bathroom cabinet and change kitchen sink without permission. I was not informed and discovered when accessing property day before new tenants moved in. - lied about condition of property on inspections - took over 2.5 months to get oven fixed which I ended up sorting myself, despite full management. Tardy responding to emails. Got Property Redress Scheme involved.

Our initial choice was based on their very apparent common sene and professionalism.. We weren't disappointed, and we were especially pleased at their speedy communication, their warmth, their can-do attitude and their attention to detail. 26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

11th Jul 2024 (16 days ago)ABOSLUTE EXCELLENCE - THE BEST IN TOTNES - I recently sold my flat with the assistance of Luscombe Maye, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. They were thoroughly professional and highly motivated to work towards the buyers' goals, demonstrating attentiveness and excellent communication skills throughout the process with all stakeholders. Their photographer was excellent, adaptable to my needs, and produced amazing photos while incorporating my direction. Luscombe Maye showed great attention to detail in my listing, always eager to get my input and work with me to meet my expectations, ensuring the best possible outcome. What truly stood out was their willingness to communicate at all times, even outside of regular working hours. They made sure the entire team was informed about the latest developments, so I never had to worry about ensuring someone was up-to-date if my primary agent was unavailable. The outcome of my flat sale was excellent because they were adaptable and worked closely with me, avoiding a cookie-cutter approach. I absolutely and catagorically recommend Luscombe Maye over any other agent in TONES to anyone looking to sell their property. They are extremely knowledgeable about the market, highly adaptable, and work hard t ounderstand the unique needs of their clients. Before deciding on Luscombe Maye, I thoroughly evaluated several other agents in the area. Woods: outdated and complacent, showing a lack of motivation. Fulfords: greedy and uninterested in providing personalized service. Rendles: disorganized and didn’t seem genuinely invested in the sale. ChartsEdge: all fur coat and no knickers—full of talk but lacking substance, with incorrect vital details in their listings. Marchand Petit: Unrelatable spivs With all that said, Luscombe Maye came out on top. They are well worth any cost and the investment of using them as your agent.

11th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.
