5th Dec 2025 (11 days ago)I recently completed the sale of my elderly mother’s remote cottage with the outstanding support of Ian, Angela, Emily, and the entire team at Stags Truro. From start to finish, I felt completely confident that I had chosen the right people for the job. The team never missed a beat — they guided me step by step, always making sure I was on track and making the right decisions. Their marketing plan was excellent—attracting strong interest and multiple viewings—and they helped me select the right buyer, keeping them engaged all the way through to completion. We were very pleased with the final selling price. Because I live overseas, communication could have been a challenge, but the team at Stags handled it brilliantly. Their updates were clear, timely, and reassuring, so distance was never an issue. One tip I’d share with others: choose a solicitor your agent has a strong working relationship with. This was absolutely key to the smooth handling of our sale. We originally chose Stags based on a neighbor’s recommendation, and I’m so glad we did. After my own excellent experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend Stags Truro to anyone buying or selling property.

21st Feb 2025 (9 mo. ago)Disclaimer: We were looking for a commercial lease and did not proceed however we were impressed with the service and communication from Thomas. We cannot report on the experience after this point. We were interested in a property in Truro and had Thomas Hewitt show us around. He arrived promptly and was respectful. He gave us clear updates each step of the way after the viewing up until the heads of terms. Unfortunately due to external circumstances we were unable to pursue the lease beyond this point, however we were impressed with such frequent updates from the agent even if it's to say when I can expect a response to the questions we asked. Thank you for your time, hopefully we can be back in the future with our financials in order.

They arranged a professional photographer to visit within 24 hours and the marketing was really polished. No sale no fee, and they also worked out the cheapest locally! Thoroughly recommended.
2nd Sep 2025 (15 weeks ago)Absolutely disgusting service. The staff square up to you, not very professional and the sheer amount of lies that comes out of their mouth is just unbelievable. Extremely rude and arrogant staff. Please stay away. They don't seem to know the difference between rising damp and dirty marks on the wall. Totally unprofessional.

The team is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to helping their clients, but Jessica truly stood out. Jessica has been incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive throughout the whole process. She always communicated clearly, responded quickly, and made everything so easy for us, especially during a stressful time of relocating. We really appreciate her professionalism and kindness. 13th Aug 2025 (18 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Hunkins highly enough. We were with another local agent, (who arrived and took pictures off their old camera phone, which we had to retake and replace!) We had to chase for feedback and do our own viewings as the agent was often late (she has left the business since) After 7 months, we gave up and went with Hunkins. Jack arrived, with his professional camera and drone, he took outstanding pictures, drone shots and put the board up himself, no messing! He has worked tirelessly to sell our house, the kind communication has been second to none, he has the best mannerisms around buyers and always turned up promptly to carry out the viewings. Any questions from buyers have been smoothly answered and he really sells without being pushy. We have gone under offer, but he is still answering questions and offering his usual high standard of care and warmth. The market isn't easy at the moment, but Hunkins approach really helped with this.
