From start to finish, the entire process was handled with efficiency and care. I was pleased with the service I received from Alex, Aaron and Anna throughout. The communication with Aaron was excellent — I was kept informed and felt fully supported through the process. I wholeheartedly recommend Thorney Groves, Chester to anyone looking to sell their home. 10th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)Very responsive and helpful, much more so than other letting agents I approached when searching for a property. Letting process quick and reasonably straightforward although the online system sometimes seemed a bit daunting for a non 'techie'. The only aspect of the process that I felt was poor was the handover where I was just asked to attend the office to collect the keys and door code. There are a number of features of the property that I have had to discover myself or by talking to the building caretaker. An accompanied handover on the premises would have made this much easier.

13th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)Initial contact was excellent and I received everything but my sister didn’t get any notifications through her email, which is Wht we both understood was going to happen. Apart from that I’ve been very happy with the service so far.

Nothing was ever too much of an ask and she was always at the end of the phone when needed, even outside of working hours. We can’t thank Dawn and Charlotte enough for the support and would highly recommend!!

They kept me informed every step of the way and also communicated regularly with the buyer and my solicitor to keep the process moving. As an owner living overseas, they were patient and understanding of time delays in my communication to them. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others and would like to thank them for their service in getting my property sold quickly and efficiently.

They dropped prices over a few weekends and gave the impression there was a problem but, the fact we sold it privately within days of making it available elsewhere only goes to show their lack of scruples.

We spent years trying to buy our first home, facing all the usual challenges: finances, finding the right size property, and securing the perfect location. We always believed that when we found the right house, we would just know. Many agents didn't understand that, but Rich did. From the day we met Rich and viewed our first property with Berry & George, we knew we had found the one. Rich understood exactly what we were looking for and supported us every step of the way. From day one through to well after we moved in, Rich was exceptional. He kept in touch throughout the entire process, making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. The whole team worked incredibly hard on our behalf, and we are still happily settled in the home we love today. After our previous purchase fell through at exchange, leaving us almost homeless and with just two weeks to find temporary accommodation, finally finding our home is a blessing. What may seem like everyday tasks or simply part of the job can make a life-changing difference to your clients.
