12th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.

The whole process was made very easy by your staff members Paul, Krista and Becky.<br>Each time I had any questions they replied very quickly and their expertise guiding me through the process left me feeling I was in safe hands.<br>Their friendly approach completely put me at ease and the whole process was seamless. We now have tenants in the property and will not hesitate to use your services in the future.<br>Thank you once again for a brilliant service.

A family property had been rented out through them for many years and they had always been really helpful if we ever needed to organise any repairs to the property (given we didn’t live nearby) . We thought them trustworthy, very reasonable cost wise and very easy to deal with. We recently used them as sales agents for the property and found them to be efficient and again very reasonable, helping to complete a sale within 5 weeks of receiving the offer.

If I had to leave a message on the phone it was always swiftly answered. I would highly recommend these lovely people to anyone. And the icing on the cake was a nice bottle of bubbly gifted to me when I collected the keys ??????

9th Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)Update-on viewing a different property recently Liam apologised for the missed viewing. He then made himself immediately available to show me the property I wanted to see in Jan 26 and 4 others in the same block even through this was not booked and he was pushed for time. I hope we can both now put this incident behind us and move on.<br><br>I traveled 225 miles to view and Liam didn’t turn up. I called their office, left a voice mail and they didn’t return my call even though the office was open because I passed later in the day and popped in. The lady did apologise but insinuated it was my fault because I booked the viewing approx. 4 weeks earlier. Still no call from Liam to this day.

Unfortunately we didn’t secure a sale but I honestly don’t believe this was because of the estate agents, just bad timing. Would I use Kent’s again? Yes I would!
1st Nov 2026 (1 day ago)99h did not stop advertising my home after the contract ended, which meant that I was unable to respond to any enquiries received, which would have harmed my reputation as a seller. 99h did not always approve details/changes within 48 hours as promised, and resultantly, I missed a boxing day deadline. The staff are very quick to get in touch when selling upgrades or extending contracts, but are very slow to respond to queries. For the sake of £99 it might be worth a try, but keep your expectations low.

10th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)I contacted Russell at first on looking at reviews . I had been with other agents for over a year without success . Within a week of signing up with Russell I had 4 viewings , one of which made an offer which resulted in an exchage of contracts in February 2026. It has been a bit of a long route due to my not finding a property but we got there in the end due to great service from Russell himself, Jenny and our progresser Kirsty who was on the case all the time. You will not go wrong with Russell , he is honest, straightforward, always available and goes that extra mile as do all of the team.

19th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)We honestly couldn’t be more impressed with Rafferty and Pickard Estate Agents! From start to finish, the team were prompt, professional, friendly and genuinely engaging. Communication was fantastic throughout, and whenever we had a question, we were able to get answers straight away without any chasing or delays.<br><br>We had two house sales and the purchase of our new home all to get over the line, which was no small task, but the team went above and beyond to help make it happen. They were proactive, supportive and clearly committed to getting everything across the finish line for us.<br><br>Moving house can be incredibly stressful, especially when there are multiple transactions involved, but they made us feel supported every step of the way. Their professionalism, communication and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out.<br><br>We would highly recommend Rafferty and Pickard to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. An absolutely brilliant service from a team who genuinely care about their clients. Thank you for helping us get into our new home — we are really, really impressed!

Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.
