12th May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
30th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Upsdales Property Management<br><br>I booked a viewing for a flat and later called to ask one simple question: whether the upstairs flat owned the loft. I was told someone would get back to me.<br><br>Two days later Daniel sent me a text message, but I couldn’t understand it or how it answered my question. I therefore called him for clarification and politely asked if he could simply answer “yes” or “no.”<br><br>Instead of answering professionally, his tone became abrupt, intimidating and dismissive. He told me, “I don’t think this flat is for you,” and said, “It looks like you’re buying for the first time, so you don’t know how it works.”<br><br>I found these comments patronising and unnecessary. I was simply trying to understand an important detail about the property before attending the viewing. There was no need to make assumptions about my experience or speak to me in that manner.<br><br>I ended the call feeling upset and disappointed. Every potential buyer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of their level of experience.

25th Sep 2019 (6 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL
18th May 2026 (17 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Johns&Co at London City Island. From our very first conversation, we made it explicitly clear that parking was a requirement for us. We were initially shown a property with parking, shown the parking area itself, and then shown another property which we were told also included parking. Based on those representations, we proceeded and had our offer accepted. Only later did we discover — via a WhatsApp message from the agent Katie — that the property did not in fact include parking and that we would need to rent a space separately. This was clearly material information and something we had specifically stated was essential to our purchase decision. We would never have proceeded had the correct information been provided from the outset. What made the situation worse was the handling afterwards. We were initially told compensation would be offered, but after querying the amount, the local manager Elliot called to say we would receive nothing because the issue had been discovered “early in the process” and he did not believe anyone had done anything wrong. The overall attitude felt dismissive and lacking in accountability. We were left having wasted significant time and effort progressing a purchase based on inaccurate information, and ultimately had no choice but to withdraw. Buyers should be very careful to independently verify all “confirmed” information provided during the sales process.
29th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Extremely concerning experience with one of this company’s van drivers.<br><br>I was cycling in a designated cycle lane when the van repeatedly veered into the cycle lane and directly into my path. The first time, I had to veer off the road onto the pavement at speed to avoid being hit and potentially going underneath the van.<br><br>I then rejoined the cycle lane, and the driver again veered into the cycle lane and turned left directly across my path, completely cutting me off and coming extremely close to hitting me.<br><br>This was extremely dangerous and erratic driving. I was genuinely concerned that I was going to be hit. I have reported the incident to the company and will also be reporting it to the Metropolitan Police.

However, Mubashir worked with me to solve all the issues, was super helpful and responsive and ensured that all issues were resolved on time. Since he took over, communication has been handled appropriately and it's been a pleasant experience so far

31st Aug 2026 (17 days ago)Would appear the house was over valued by the estate agent so setting wrong expectations about what price could be achieved. Minimal viewings Person showing the house (not the exp lead) arrived at the same time as the potential buyers so house wasn’t opened up or displayed to best advantage No communication from the estate agent I would not use exp again. Very disappointed.

I’ve introduced a few clients who are looking at opportunities in London, and Freder has been extremely helpful in supporting these searches, including clients exploring both the Romanian and China markets. ???????????????????????????? In a fast-moving market like this, having a team that acts efficiently and communicates clearly makes a real difference. ?????? I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. ????
