They have sent me letters emails & called me many times to try and get me to sell my house through them. I used Carter & Willow who now sold 3 properties for me with no problems at all. I highly recommend Carter & Willow. This company Douglas & Allen come across very desperate for business to which end they stalk you. I advise people to do there research before entertaining this company.
21st Oct 2026 (12 days ago)This letting agent has no empathy or common decency if you are a tenant, I highly recommend if you are going to rent a property from them DON’T. See the list of incidents we experienced living in a franklyn james property<br><br>1. Allowed us to live for over a week in a house with no heating or hot water when our boiler broke and offered us no compensations<br>2. Said that we should just accept the mould in the flat because of the age of the flat and that’s just what happens in these buildings<br>3. Allowed us to live with an active leak and severe damage to one of rooms for months, and the water was leaking onto our electric boiler<br>4. Allowed a person to live in our flat for months without adding them to the tenancy agreement<br><br>These people are cowboys and have zero empathy. If you are a horrible landlord and want your tenants to suffer, franklyn james are the ones for you! In particular Yawar and Daniel, you should be ashamed.

She handled the issue with one of our radiators professionally and efficiently, arranging for the repair to be carried out promptly. From the first time we spoke until after I moved in, I found her warm, diligent and thorough in the handling of the matters. Purchasing a flat is particularly long and at times stressful process, however, her warmth and competency, made things look easier and did an excellent job. She was approachable, skilled and naturally a problem solver. She was sure to return calls whenever she said she will, her communication was clear and her working style is agile — all of it made the purchasing process a lot more easier.<br><br>Petya is an absolute gem for the company and I'd 100% reccomend anyone looking to purchase a property to have their first conversation with her.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Tariq and Riccardo who were both professional and helpful on occasions we interacted. 7th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)? 1 star — and honestly, I wish I could give zero.<br><br>If you are thinking about using Foxtons to manage or sell your property, please think very carefully before you do. My experience has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. What should have been a straightforward process turned into months of chasing, calling, emailing, escalating and repeatedly asking Foxtons to do things I was already paying them to do.<br><br>The biggest problem? I was paying Foxtons to manage my property, but I ended up having to manage Foxtons.<br><br>Communication was appalling. I was repeatedly told things would be dealt with, only to find myself chasing again because nothing had happened. I was passed between different members of staff, had to repeatedly explain the same issues and constantly push for basic answers. Nobody seemed prepared to take ownership and actually see a problem through to the end.<br><br>Then came the mess after the tenants vacated.<br><br>Half the keys were returned late and the other half had apparently been lost and were only found months later. There was substantial damage left at the property, yet I was left waiting month after month for quotations and updates. I chased and chased, only to eventually find that the matter had been dealt with through the deposit scheme and the result was £15.<br><br>£15.<br><br>After all the damage, delays and time spent chasing Foxtons, that was the outcome.<br><br>To make matters worse, Foxtons failed to properly communicate what was happening with the deposit process and I was subsequently cut off from the deposit scheme, leaving me with no meaningful way to pursue the matter. Six months later, I am still waiting for a promised phone call from Foxtons.<br><br>Then there was the completely unnecessary situation involving our new estate agent collecting the keys. I live overseas and my mum was struggling to get to the Foxtons office, so our new estate agent was doing us a favour by collecting the keys on our behalf. Instead of simply handing over the keys, a member of the Foxtons office staff became confrontational with our new agent and told him to come outside to fight.<br><br>This was completely unacceptable and completely unnecessary. Someone was trying to help us because I live overseas, and Foxtons managed to turn even the simple collection of keys into another confrontation.<br><br>By this point it was impossible to see these as isolated mistakes. Weeks would pass, I would chase, I would be given an assurance, nothing would happen and I would have to chase again.<br><br>I was living overseas throughout this. I wasn't asking Foxtons to do me a favour. I was paying them to manage my property. I should not have needed to spend hours making calls and sending emails from the other side of the world just to get basic things done.<br><br>Eventually I escalated the matter to senior management because the normal channels clearly weren't working. You would expect that to finally result in someone taking responsibility.<br><br>It didn't.<br><br>I received one email and then nothing. No meaningful follow-up, no resolution and no phone call.<br><br>For a company charging professional estate-agent fees, this level of service is completely unacceptable. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect communication, accountability and basic follow-through.<br><br>I would never use Foxtons again and I would strongly advise anyone considering using them to look elsewhere. Don't just judge an estate agent by how they appear when everything is going smoothly. Judge them by how they deal with problems.<br><br>In my experience, Foxtons didn't take ownership. They became another problem I had to manage.<br><br>An estate agent should make selling and managing your property easier. Foxtons made it harder, more stressful and far more time-consuming than it ever needed to be.<br><br>And the most ridiculous part? The matter is STILL not resolved. I am still waiting for an email back from Sam.

Didn’t have many issues with the property but when we did, the team were responsive and quick to address. The team were always friendly, and the checking in/ out of the property at the start/ end of tenancy was a positive experience. Thank you Alex Crown!

Any issues are dealt with smoothly and stress-free. All members of the team (Diane, Russell, Paul, Lenka and Mitchel) are professional and friendly and I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to others in the area.

Rhiannon, Jaina and Elliott went above and beyond to do what they could to make it all happen. We're living abroad which makes things harder, and Jaina even took on overseeing some work in the flat after completion to make sure everything we'd agreed with the seller went smoothly. Thanks team!

I had many more viewings compared to the agents I had previously dealt with, showing how hard she will work for you. I was kept fully informed at all times, and when Sophie was not available the Lux teamwork kicked in and there was always someone else to help.<br><br>I don't believe you'll find a more professional yet fun person to deal with than Sophie - I highly commend her work ethic and approach, which made what can be a stressful time feel straightforward and totally supportive. Who knew selling a house could be fun!<br><br>I would 100% recommend Lux.

11th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)My experience with Easymove was good until I was given the wrong keys to my newly purchased property. Things got worse when Mirjaan tried to convince me that they were the right keys and asked me to find a way to get into the property without them which was very unprofessional thing to suggest. After two stressful days, he finally gave me the correct keys, but without any explanation of what had happened. Unfortunately, for this reason, I would not recommend Easymove to anyone.

19th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)My co tenant and I have had a very good experience with Highcastle estates. Throughout the whole process they were, and continue to be, receptive, engaged and supportive. Unlike other estate agencies who I engaged with, Highcastle estates did their best to make you feel valued and supported during the process. Moreover, so far on the management side of the tenancy they have resolved any issues promptly and effectively. I would recommend them to friends and family.

They got high class staffs who communicates very well, coordinates end to end. The property they show are by far best compared to other agents. One staff assigned to us was Rose Rojda. She has excellent sales and negotiation skills. Very skilled and I guess she is in this field for a while. Good job Rose..

He was prompt, professional, and extremely efficient throughout.
