8th May 2021 (5 years ago)We had a home buyers survey carried out by Jowett's and I'd struggle to recommend them. The survey missed several fairly obvious issues, and when I asked for further information on how to improve the energy efficiency of the property as this was commented on in the report I was given very generic advice which was totally non-specific to the property. Rather disappointing.

14th Feb 2026 (5 mo. ago)I decided to move to probate properties from your move after 9 months of waiting from another high street estate agent. Comparatively,Sandra is very nice and kind and this estate agent truly know how to complete a sale smoothly. James set the price accurately and his knowledge of valuation is very accurate claims that the property is very popular and has lots of offers and I appreciate . They do check buyers source of income in very detail and I appreciate as this can avoid hiccup in midway of sale and I would recommend any sellers to choose your move james Barrett as your estate agent

23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Knowledgeable estate agent with good understanding of local market. Valuation was spot on with offer received within 2 days. Advertising material was very good. Communication with staff members was good. Estate Agent did not always provide updates via Property Portal thus requiring chaser phone calls that could have been avoided. Fair value for money as prooerty sold so quickly and they had little work to do. Even had to conduct our own viewings as staff not available at appointment times.

They tell you what should be done, tell you when and how it will be done and deliver. They made the whole experience stress-free, were 100% professional, have an outstanding knowledge of the local property market business with the added bonus of amazing value for money and you can't ask for more than that. She was outstanding throughout — proactive, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive at every stage. Not only did they achieve £10,000 above the original valuation, but Phoebe dealt brilliantly with the issues caused by the buyer’s solicitor, keeping everything on track and taking a huge amount of stress off me. Communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, and I always felt confident that my sale was in the best possible hands. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend both Phoebe and the team to anyone looking to sell their home.

From the moment I first spoke to them to booking the valuation to meeting them it was a breath of fresh air. I've bought and sold a large number of homes in my time but one thing is for sure I will only ever use Kestrel Again. The photography, the service, the communication, and the amount they achieved everything was perfect.

11th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)From start to finish the experience of purplebricks was terrible and more stressful than the process demands. They used a cut and paste description of the property that was completely false and uninformative, alongside photos that were missing to cover the rooms properly. This meant we had to write the description and take our own pictures despite us having paid for them to perform this service. Once the house finally went live onto the portal they had it listed over the value we had agreed. Purplebricks were not helpful in getting feedback after viewings and a key issue is that the portal does not allow to block out days on the calendar. This meant that we were getting viewing requests when we were on holiday that we were unable to rearrange. I would not recommend to anyone looking to sell, the cost saving of using this provider is reflected in their disinterest in proactively marketing and selling your property as they have already been paid.
