8th Oct 2025 (8 mo. ago)I was a property store tenant who they have merged with, please stay away if you are considering letting a property from them. SHH doesn't want to know the issues I had with the property store, property store once again don't reply to emails to get important information they have from my tenancy. Their complaints procedure is awful, and the follow the landlords requests while knowing that the landlord is lying. Too many people dealing with one property so you don't know who to contact, if I could give them a zero I would. I would have expected more from SHH now they have merged with the property store. Landlords claiming for damages they repaired when they haven't, claiming they didn't give permission for things, when they did. Advice if you are already letting from them, keep everything! Follow up phone calls with emails, follow up visits with emails so that when your tenancy ends you have everything!

I was never left waiting for an update or a call back and she kept me calm and reassured throughout. Nina Daly who marketed my property was also friendly, professional and on the ball.

A special mention to Lynda, who was incredibly helpful during the flat viewing — friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions. She really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and informed. Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for excellent service

My son, owns his own business , his wife & 5 really well mannered level headed kids applied for a property after viewing to be told the “owner” decided they were not suitable? No credit searches, no full application only how many occupants. Is this discrimination against have a large family and assuming they’re reliant on benefits? He has private rented for some 15 years and never missed a payment. Maybe Clyde should work a bit harder to satisfy owners & renters.
26th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)An initial great pitch full of the most attractive of promises. The positives stop their from my experience with Corum Clarkston. During the sale of my property I was handed off from one staff member to the next. Their poor communication and substandard supply chain meant taking over a week to get on to the market. The team failed to meet a basic accessibility request for a viewer and struggle to get viewers feedback. Do not be lured in by their premium feel, its an illusion, best go for another agent who deliver the exact same service only deliver it better.

Friendly enthusiastic approach from the get go and a clear vision on how to market our property to get the best result. We were recommended by a friend and will now recommend to others. Def worth considering this independent where we feel we got a more personal approach. Thanks again Vanilla Square!
4th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)I went here looking for help in seeing my child after an ordeal with my ex-partner. Asked for a court order, solicitor sent a letter instead. Ex-partner took me to civil court wanting powers. My solicitor said he would stand down if I didn't go along with what he said. Didn't use any evidence, paperwork, witness statements, video I had. Didn't say anything in response to accusations/allegations from my ex-partner in court. Independent welfare report from College and Sheilds had mistakes, Inaccuracies and didn't show any of the evidence I gave. Legal aid contribution was wrong due to incorrect information. Stated I had to pay £9700+. I had no choices, had to go along with what ex-partner and her solicitor wanted. Seen my child one hour at a contact centre supervised, absolutely no need. Ex-partner cancelled the next visit due to high temperature. Nothing done about this. Felt as though my solicitor was working for her in the end. Ex-partner got mostly everything she wanted, I realised as a father I have no rights and gave up seeing my child because of the powers my ex has she will get me arrested and charged by her accusations. I came away with nothing. My ex gained more powers. Solicitor gave her residence order too without discussing it with me, they just do what they like. Spoke to a friend recently who said she had this firm to begin with for family/child matters and had to fire them. I'm sorely disappointed.
9th Jun 2019 (7 years ago)Do not trust this company. We dealt with the previous iteration of the owners company and are now being left to clean up their mess. We should have gotten rid of them sooner.... leaving this review in the hope that other landlords won’t have to deal with the loss of over £2000 in rental payments plus the stress of figuring out what to do with our tenant now... even with the loss of rent I still may have left a good review if Amanda and Craig has worked with us to help figure things out (or even provide the tenants details) but the only response to any communication that we have is to essentially gloat that their old company doesn’t exist and there is no recourse for us. Pretty poor behaviour for a human being never mind a business owner.

5th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.
27th May 2026 (23 days ago)Gary was very professional, friendly and has a sound knowledge when giving advice on marketing and selling property. He instilled confidence in how to market and advertise the home. It was evident this was going to show the home to its best and proved to be the case as it was sold in less than a day. We can’t thank him and Lynn enough as they made the whole process as painless as possible . Cannot recommend Village Estate Agents enough !

21st May 2026 (29 days ago)Preparation of mirror wills prepared on the basis of sound and informed advice - wills that reflected our shared wishes and intentions. Sound, sensitive support and advice comprehensively offered on various aspects of the execution of one will. Overall, a responsive and courteous service and one I would trust at any time in the future. And at reasonable cost! It is now 4 years since Louise, now a Partner with the firm, offered advice on my will and that of my partner. That advice has proved invaluable, as has been the ongoing consistency of her advice as my circumstanes have seen small changes. A polite, courteous, unpressured approach through which her fast grasp of issues has shone through. This is a legal company I can unreservedly commend.
18th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)From the first dealings in the Hamilton office of Momo Homes to the conclusion of the sale of our property, all the staff were polite, friendly, courteous and professional in their dealings with us. They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

9th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)Dealt with Dianne - Buchannan Burton’s Estate Agent. When visiting our house for a valuation, all measures were taken to comply with COVID-19 instructions. We were given great advice and could not be happier with the service and with the communication from the staff as a whole. Dealt with Sandra Burton (solicitor) and the transaction for the house sale went through without any hitches. Would highly recommend dealing with them for your house sale from start to finish. Thank you everyone for the great service.

The support through the entire process has been incredible and I can say that I have had a few setbacks in the process (outwith any control) however the team have navigated me through it. Special shout out to Sharon who without that support it would not have went the way it has. Anyone anywhere really should go with these guys! Thank you Gary and Sharon you have both been amazing and I will forever be grateful to you.

8th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)We have recently sold our home with Scott and his team at Miller Estate Agents. From the first meeting, I knew this was the right choice due to Scott's professionalism, knowledge and being really down to earth. We were unsure when we would actually put the house on the market due to us not finding anything to begin with, but Scott kept in touch with us and as soon as we were ready, he organised everything super quick and the house was on the market that week once all sorted! Our house sold within a week and this was down to Scotts work and Marc being amazing with the viewings. The communication has been next to none with constant updates and being available for any of my questions. Dealing with Scott and the team (Marc & Leanne) has been a fantastic experience and not at all stressful (as people tell you selling a home is!). Can't recommend them enough!

27th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)Kenny was so helpful and empathetic to the fact I was selling my mums house who died recently. He immediately made me feel confident I had chosen the right person. The house was sold in 5 days for the valuation price which was fantastic. He was able to tell me a bit about the family buying the house and it was so comforting for myself and my sister to know it was going to a family who immediately fell in love with the house and were so excited to bring their family up there as mum and dad had done with us. I would highly recommend Kenny and the company to anyone. Thank you so much
