22nd Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Zero complaints from me. From start to finish I felt in good hands. My mortgage advisor (Alana) was great, she walked me through the process in our first meeting and it really helped demystify the whole thing for a first time buyer like me. Additionally, the viewing agent was really friendly and helpful, with a good amount of local knowledge. Overall I’m really happy with the service I received from Alan & Harris Paisley and would totally recommend.
11th Feb 2017 (9 years ago)Great service friendly staff
27th Jul 2026 (14 weeks ago)"Appalling experience - Extreme professional negligence, arrogance, and harassment"<br>I highly recommend avoiding this firm. After the completion of my property sale, the paralegal, Ceitidh Bryden, demonstrated absolute arrogance and a shocking lack of professional ethics. Her communication was completely unacceptable, to the point where she even resorted to shouting at me over the phone.<br>Despite a formal agreement via email for a £200 price deduction regarding house preparation (which was successfully applied to the final settlement), this firm failed to properly update the final missives due to sheer laziness. Worse still, after the funds were legally settled and under my control, she sided with the buyer to launch an aggressive psychological intimidation campaign. They forwarded threatening emails in red text and unlawfully demanded my personal overseas address without any legal basis, strictly violating data protection principles and professional boundaries. Pure malpractice, uneducated behaviour, and zero integrity. Avoid at all costs."<br><br>Alex
16th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Jodi was excellent at arranging and communicating the repairs at our rental property. No drama, everything checked and repaired.
28th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)An excellent transaction from start to finish ????????
6th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.

8th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)I received a first class service from AB Property Consultants from the start to finish.<br><br>From Alex at my initial meeting to discuss selling my flat, to Lesley & Corey dealing with my flat sale & viewings of other houses.<br><br>Also the professional photography, videos & drone shots they did of my flat were great. They give buyers the first impression of your place, so you want it to be of good quality, which it was.<br><br>I had my first viewer on 23rd July & my flat was sold at closing date on 11th August. So a super service! Thanks.
13th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Recently sold our flat through Hames. The whole team were exceptional throughout the process keeping us up to date, informed and included in all aspects of the sale. We required a quick sale and Joe, Ellie and Eilidh made sure this went through without any issue. Would recommend Hames to anyone buying or selling.

29th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)I was a Landlord with McArthur Scott Estate Agents , but as of today I am no longer a Landlord as I recently sold my flat and McArthur Scott Estate Agents sold it . Little that I know that my previous tenant made such an allegations , which given me distressed . I was not left in the dark to fight that battle. Instead McArthur Scott Estate Agents Team step forward armed with factual evidences . Those factual evidences were crucial against the case that being lodged . I cannot thank enough Chris who made the effort to compile those correspondence and shared to the appropriate panels. I am also appreciative with Lynne to whom I called impromptu to join in the call . She joined in the call right there and then without hesitation . The crew/team of McArthur Scott Estate Agents are just amazing , professional and very helpful the way they can. To everyone who is seeking to find a letting agent to let your home , look no further . McArthur Scott Estate Agents are above and beyond , they will not left you behind if you are facing aggressive and argumentative tenants.
Baillie & Baillie Estate Agents - Houston

2nd Oct 2026 (28 days ago)My mum and I just had a horrible experience with an agent at this agency. As newcomers to the UK, we attended a viewing and asked standard questions afterward regarding our family setup (a situation we were completely upfront and clear about before we even booked the viewing by the way!).<br><br>While the agent initially answered questions normally, her attitude completely flipped when we tried to explain our family's rooming needs. Instead of clarifying the tenancy guidelines when we were thinking of solutions (as our situation is complex) she became rude, confrontational, and repeatedly accused us of lying. When I stood up for ourselves and told her to stop insinuating we were being dishonest, the situation escalated into a shouting match and she ordered us to leave.<br><br>I am normally the least confrontational person ever and always avoid conflict, but her hostile energy and accusations forced me to stand up for my family and tell her to stop calling us liars.<br><br>Sure, the agent of course knows better than us when it comes to letting rules, but accusing us of bullshit and being completely hostile when we were just trying to explain our situation is disgusting. I strongly advise other renters, especially international families, to avoid this agency.

6th Apr 2022 (4 years ago)A big thank You to Robyn, Gordon and the team at Kilglen - always willing to go the extra mile for Landlords and Tenants - they have helped with various projects of ours and managed our properties having expert knowledge of the local area and being able to help with contractors no matter how large or small the job may seem , thank you from us both - keep up the good work
13th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)Rude They changed my property price daily without my permission. They lower price to less than what i pay for it, Then they put the price 10 times higher than what I pay for it. This is bulling tactic
28th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)Awful experience. Collected money from owners for roof repairs that never happened, then walked away as factor while still holding the funds. Months of chasing for basic answers and a refund timeline. Communication is dismissive and contradictory, and getting a clear breakdown of what’s been spent and what’s being withheld has been like pulling teeth. Would not recommend to anyone.

7th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)We were hoping for a quick sale but to not compromise on the value of the property in doing so.<br>REMAX and Carol in particular did not let us down. Everything was explained clearly from the start. Great advice was given in preparing the house for the market. Then Carol took on the viewings too, so we could head out and relax knowing it was in safe hands.<br>The property sold at a very fair price both for us as the vendors and for the couple and small family who will take up residence soon.<br>It was important for us that the home got a continued love and investment. After all we’d been in there for almost 20 years!<br>A fantastic experience working with REMAX Linlithgow and highly recommend them for both buying and selling your property.
20th Oct 2026 (10 days ago)?????<br><br>We had a really positive experience selling our home with Kelly Residential. Declan and the whole team were fantastic from start to finish, providing an excellent level of service, great communication and support throughout the process.<br><br>We were really happy with how everything was handled and felt confident that our sale was in good hands. A big thank you to Declan and all the team for making the process as smooth as possible.<br><br>Would happily recommend Kelly Residential to anyone looking to sell their property!
