26th Mar 2026 (5 mo. ago)I’m extremely upset with this company. One of their leafleters forcibly opened my closed electric gate—at 7:30 in the morning—to get to my front door. I’m a mother home alone with two babies, and that gate is there for our security and privacy. I felt violated and unsafe. I emailed the company to complain and never even received a reply. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

No hesitation in recommending Fisher German.

19th Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)Anthony was really responsive and thanks to him and the team I went from making an enquiry for a valuation to receiving an offer on my flat within a fortnight. Everything was explained to me clearly and it was a very relaxed experience.
28th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)Callaghans has been the best choice for selling a house. From the outset, they provided a realistic sales price, and not an inflated figure to try to secure the business. Their fees were also clearly explained and reasonable. I was given good advice for free about some minor pre-sale improvements which could be made, which were done - all before I'd even engaged Callaghans. The feeling I could trust them was really important to me, and it proved well founded. They kept me informed every step of the way, from arranging viewings to occasionally having to relay news of cancellations (important to know about still), and then on to the exciting bit of guiding an offer through to completion. Friendly, courteous, helpful, organised, efficient - Callaghans are all of these. Thanks to all of the team, but especially Sean, Ian, and Carole. Most of my contact was with Carole, who is brilliant. Callaghans = exceptional.

I was kept fully informed but didn’t need to get involved in the viewings. I received a useful summary of the various interested parties, and professional advice from which I made an informed decision.
8th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)The service I’ve received has been excellent, from the first visit when Hollie Moore from the Woodley branch came to value the house, to Amber Hind, also from the Woodley branch who booked in all the viewings and kept me fully up to date with what was happening.<br>Once the offer was accepted, I was contacted by Amy Hardman, who has kept me fully up to date and support me throughout the process right through to completion.<br>From accepting the offer to completing, it’s taken just 61 days!<br>Thank you, Edward Mellor and your amazing team. I couldn’t have asked for better service.

The team was professional, friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout the entire process. Communication was clear and everything was handled efficiently, making the experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable estate and lettings agent!

The service and feedback from each viewing was prompt and timely. The sale proceeded swiftly and completed on time. Would highly recommend them

21st Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Trying to find a new home is very stressful, I've seen lots of houses, with lots of different agents and they're not all equal. I want to say how great I found Rooftops Lettings. The communication was fantastic, emails, phone calls pre-viewing and follow up when they said they would. The lady I dealt with, Louise, was amazing. So friendly, honest and genuine. The process was very straightforward, Louise was so professional and made me feel really special when she contacted me to say we'd been successful, she was genuinely happy for us. I can't recommend them enough, not all agents treat you like a human being, Rooftops really really do. Thanks Louise.
6th Sep 2026 (20 days ago)Avoid this company they made buying our first home an awful experience. I’d especially advise you to avoid Susie Ralston and Paul Howell. Told me the role as an estate agent is to list and sell a property and any chasing of a chain is simply a good will gesture and falls outside of the estate agent’s ethics.<br>They had the audacity to advise thier contact log showed 32 contact points since April. Yes 32 times I had to chase and ask for updates to which I was met with nothing meaningful and to contact my solicitor. They also had the cheek to say I knew the vendors daughter in law so I had updates from them - shouldn’t have to justify I know sometime from a school run not personally as a friend.<br>Ignored my complaint request for compensation.<br>Property onbudsman is my next step.

He also understood what we were looking for in a home, and was able to show us a house which had not gone on the market yet - something we really appreciated after going to house viewings with other estate agents that felt very busy and pressured! Thank you Tony and the rest of the team :)

Buying or selling a house can be a stressful process, but the team at Thornley Groves were consistently professional, supportive, and impressive throughout. Chris, the branch manager, initially helped us with putting in our offer and was fair, transparent, and professional from the outset, which immediately gave us confidence in the process. Claire regularly checked in with both us and the vendor to ensure everyone was aligned and that all paperwork was progressing promptly. This made us feel well supported and helped keep things moving quickly without unnecessary delays. As we were part of a chain, there were some challenges in getting the top and bottom of the chain to agree on a completion date. Jamie, who originally showed us the property, was exceptional in handling this. She took the initiative to draft a detailed email, bringing all parties together, and used her professionalism and experience to resolve the situation and secure an agreed completion date. Her efforts were instrumental in ensuring a smooth conclusion to the transaction. Overall, I cannot recommend the team at Thornley Groves highly enough.

He sold our house in 8 days!<br><br>From the initial property valuation right through to completion, Xavier was excellent. His knowledge of the Knutsford and Cheshire property market was clear from the start, and his advice on pricing, marketing and negotiating the sale proved to be spot on.<br><br>What particularly stood out was the communication. Selling a house can be stressful, but he was proactive, responsive and kept us updated throughout the entire process. He handled viewings and negotiations professionally, gave straightforward advice when decisions needed to be made, and worked hard to keep the sale progressing through to completion.<br><br>If you’re looking for an estate agent in Knutsford, Hale, Altrincham, Alderley Edge, Cheshire to sell your house, I would absolutely recommend Acobas and Xavier. A knowledgeable, trustworthy and highly professional estate agent who delivered a great result for us.<br><br>Five stars and thoroughly recommended.
