8th Jul 2022 (4 years ago)I am delighted with the result achieved by Jag at Your Choice. At his suggestion the house was marketed at about £20k more than was proposed by another agent. Jag said that he had a number of prospective buyers who would be interested in this property. I approved the marketing details on a Thursday afternoon. The advert appeared online on Friday and the following Monday there were 11 viewings with an offer at the asking price received within 48 hours. 4 months from start to completion of which 7 weeks was a delay waiting for probate to be granted.

17th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a really positive experience with Alan Slater Property Services managing my property and tenancy. They were professional, reliable and always easy to deal with, keeping me informed and handling any issues that came up with the tenant efficiently. It made renting out my property much more straightforward and took a lot of the stress out of managing it myself. I’d happily recommend them to other landlords looking for a dependable letting agent.

25th Jun 2018 (8 years ago)Locat Agency rented out our two-bedroom flat to a family (5-6 members) in 2015. The Agency recommended this family and they have been well known to the agency. During their residency in that flat, we lost our appliances and all the time we received phone calls from the neighbours regarding the unacceptable behaviour of the tenant. Locat defended them all along. When they moved out of the flat four months ago, they left it in a horrible condition. Broken entrance door window, no window handles, no appliances (dishwasher, washing machine which has been changed and bought a brand new one less than two years ago, fridge and freezer) and too much dirt everywhere (kitchen, bathroom and toilet, broken tiles bathroom panel are the examples of what they left behind. When they moved to the flat, it was in an excellent condition, then they put a nasty wallpaper and also made more than 40 holes on the walls. Generally, I should say I had to spend a fortune to make it reasonable again. All these changes happened out of our knowledge. Locate does not accept any responsibility here and the agency found another place to live for them. I think this agency is not reliable and honest with the customer and after this horrible experience, I never recommend it to other people.- 20th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)Have been waiting for two weeks for a response to questions I asked re repairs and lack of property income statements, terrible service since the business was taken over by the new owners. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.

30th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)?I rented a flat through Maxfield for five years, and I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. ?From day one, the entire team was exceptionally caring, attentive, and honest—traits that can be hard to find in the property market! Any maintenance issues or questions were tackled almost immediately, and their response times were consistently fast throughout my entire tenancy. ?It was an absolute pleasure cooperating with them over the last five years. I always felt looked after and respected as a tenant. I highly recommend Maxfield to anyone looking for a stress-free and genuinely professional renting experience!
27th Aug 2026 (26 days ago)The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing and, unfortunately, seemed to know very little about the property. Communication has also been very poor. Since making the enquiry, I’ve received six cold calls from their office in just two days, which has felt excessive and intrusive. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I would expect from a professional estate agent.

10th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)There was no real drive to help sell the property, no regular promotion had to ask and push for it several times. Didn’t do checks with people booked for viewing whether they are able to purchase, a lot of no shows as well.

Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

Joe and Stewart have been fabulous and took our sale through to completion very quickly. Communication was flawless, we were kept regularly up to date and they gave great advice and support as the offer came in and sale progressed. I would 100% recommend them and we will definitely use Haart again in the future.

Over three weeks have now passed and no contact. Since found out property sold to a higher offer. The basics are you communicate with buyers and do not just leave them hanging for weeks !!!!
