15th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)My wife and I have recently brought a house who compass were the acting selling agent. From the start of the process, viewing the house and handling the offer negotiations Lorna and Mark were fantastic and extremely professional. Grant did an amazing job of all the sales progression as at times I did wonder whether delays within the chain would stop the house going through. Thankfully through the hard work from Grant who really did go above and beyond we managed to complete. I would highly recommend to sell your house through this agency! Thank you again!
24th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)Bradley Cooper, the branch manager, was incredible. He booked viewings for me back to back so he spent a few hours with us for a day visiting the houses in the area. He was honest, insightful, very helpful, and knowledgeable. Can't rate him high enough.

27th Sep 2023 (9 mo. ago)First Step used to be the go to agents in the local area, they seemed honest and transparent. From my experience this is a thing of the best with them. There are many agents in the local area now who are much better then First Step, they will look after you and are much more sincere. My advice would be, dont just go with them, give all the others the same opportunity, remember First Step excel in talking the talk, but once your signed in, they dont walk the walk. Think is all I advise anyone.
8th Jul 2024 (19 days ago)I used to rent a property with country properties. During that time I interacted mainly with Debbie I found the whole experience deeply unpleasant. She seemed more concerned about making money for the landlord than about my experience as a tenant: it made me feel stressed and pressured. I also experienced them as unprofessional due to the lack of service that was available to me - what I mean by service is a welcoming attitude and kind approach, which would make me feel safe and supported to raise any concerns I might have. However, both members of the rental branch - Debbie and Hayley- made me feel I was a burden and every time I spoke on the phone it would be rushed. The usual line was ‘we’re about to go into a meeting’. This caused me much anxiety when I was living in Shefford, I couldn’t wait to move! My view of their behaviour whilst living in one of their properties was just confirmed when I had to call them unexpectedly because I accidentally sent a package to the old address and wondered if there was any way of getting the package to me. If not I enquired into whether it would be possible for them to ask their tenant to hold the package for me or see if I could be sent on. However I was told ‘that wasn’t possible’ and Debbie rushed me off the phone. She wouldn’t even ask for me. How is this a professional service and moreover how is this kind? Is kindness and civility not a part of managing a business for them? It seems not… I’ve dealt with and lived under the care of several different real estate agents and this was by the far the worst! The whole experience of living in a property is defined by the attitude and service real estate agent. Therefore, I wanted to warn future and would strongly recommend trying finding another real estate agent to help you if possible!
6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Having been let down by one of the competitors, I was wary of all agents but Aaron was extremely helpful and gave me new hope that I would sell! I I had to move back to Wales before the sale and Aaron was great at popping around to check on things the buyer wanted to know. Extremely helpful and a great communicator who kept me in touch at all stages and gave me great advice (even on my purchase property which was nothing g to do with Connells). Fantastic service and support from Aaron in particular but the whole team were great. Would strongly recommend!

26th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)They tied me down to a contract and wanted to charge me £750 to get out of it even though I was within the cooling off period. I had a change of heart literally the next day and they didn’t let me out. After that, communication was so so and I only got three viewings in the whole duration.
10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)I had a great experience selling my house through Haart, Marley and Adam were both great, Adam carried out a great marketing campaign, he made sure I was happy with the photos and house advert and remained in contact through the process, even phoning to congratulate me when the sale was complete, Marley showed people round the house, kept me informed on progress and I felt he worked hard to make the sale and process go smoothly and be a success. I felt very supported and he kept me updated throughout the process.- 8th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)Steph and the team at Country Properties were excellent. During the entire process of selling my home Steph kept me up to date on a regular basis. Country exceeded all expectations and went above and beyond with their customer care. 17th Jul 2024 (10 days ago)At the time of putting my house up for sale I was in the early stages of pregnancy and really anxious to find a home with more space before our baby arrives. I was lucky enough to get in contact with Daniel B, who came to review our home efficiently and professionally. I was really happy with the photos he’d taken and the way in which he talked us through all the relevant processes involved in selling a house. Much to our delight Daniel had a lot of interest on our property and we were able to sell it. Our whole chain completed within three months. At times through the process I had a lot of questions and in retrospect I can see I needed a lot of reassurance through the process as my stress levels were very high. Daniel was a great representative of Cooper Wallace and I’d like tho thank him for his patience.

26th Jun 2021 (3 years ago)If you are selling your house in the Arlesey area, in my opinion, you would be mad not to use Gothic Estates. They not only have the lowest fees they give by far the best service of any estate agent I have ever bought or sold with. I never had to chase them once for information, they were always keeping us up to date throughout the process. I can honestly say if it were not for them chasing solicitors up and down our chain there is either a good chance our chain would have fallen apart or we would have moved many, many, weeks later than we did. From great pragmatic advice to open and honest conversations it has been a pleasure to work with Gothic Estates throughout the process they are an example to the industry and a rare gem.

Nick was hugely knowledgeable, respectful and supportive at every stage, and always kept us up-to-date as things progressed. Based on our experience of their professionalism, standard of service and results, we cannot recommend Wellington Evans strongly enough. When Nick first visited our home, we were immediately impressed with the care and attention he gave our property. He was realistic and honest, and explained the current market and how he would approach selling our house. By the end of the visit, we knew we could trust him to deliver a five star experience - and we weren’t wrong. Nick was consistently engaged and on-hand for our questions and to explain the intricacies of the sale process. Through the strategy he put together for marketing our property, the managing of viewings and the offers we received, it was obvious that Nick was focused on delivering for us. We were very pleased to have him represent us.
