19th Dec 2024 (26 days ago)What are the estate agent playing at, they are now selling a 4 bed house in Elder way Ampthill for £40000 over valuation price, this is a shared ownership property only recently valued at £510,000 Are they that desperate.. And a building society or bank will have a say on this, beware as you could lose thousands of pounds

Unfortunately both of my parents had been through a very difficult time in hospital while trying to sell their bungalow ,but Phil was an absolute star, going that extra mile to do whatever he could to help the family at a very traumatic time. 13th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Country Properties, Shefford, to anyone looking to sell their home. The whole process was exceptionally well managed from our initial sale, right through to our exchange of contracts. The whole Country Properties team were polite and informative when we called and always followed through on calls backs and actions as promise. Steph and the team were instrumental in keeping our chain informed and worked tirelessly to move the chain forwards. Steph and her team made such an impact on our chain that others in the chain commented on their excellent service and hard work! Moving house is never easy, but I can honestly say that the support we received from Country Properties got us through the process and we are extremely grateful. Country Properties and the whole team were by far the best estate agent we have ever used and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

We met with Connor, Molly and Chris who all helped us through the purchase of our new property. If it wasn’t for them, we would not have managed to exchange and complete so so quickly. They were always really helpful with the hundreds of questions that we had (being first time buyers). Definitely recommend.
2nd Oct 2024 (15 weeks ago)Connells provided us an excellent service in selling our house. They managed all the viewings well and kept us informed of the feedback. They were also able to help negotiate the price of our onward purchase with a neighbouring estate agent. In all very happy. Big shout out to Craig Putton who is a lovely guy and very helpful in the whole process. Also Imogen for her excellent and sunny phone manner. ????

15th Aug 2024 (22 weeks ago)Had a wonderful experience with the Haart sales team in Stevenage with the sale of our house. Would highly recommend the team who work great together and get results! Adam Smith, Andrew Rogers, Marley Hamilton and Gemma Allen. Called three agents to get valuations. The person you first speak to at any business sets the tone and Marley set the tone perfectly from my initial call, asked all the right questions at this initial stage, knew the local market and had direct comparables to hand and was very personable. I was pretty much sold at this point! Andrew valued the property and again set himself apart from the other agents we invited in. Direct, professional approach with relevant comparable properties recently sold in the area. He could back his valuation which was higher then the other agents, and was very clear on the marketing strategy and approach that he and the team use to get the best results for the vendor. I knew they were the right agency for us! Once we gave them the instruction to market the property the machine started moving. Photos were taken, the property went live on all the portals within days, the team previewed the property and had viewings lined up immediately. The perfect offer was received within five days of marketing which we accepted. During the conveyancing process Adam kept the momentum going and really pushed for the exchange and completion within the time frames we had initially given. The purchasers conveyancing team was a little slow at times but Adam kept the line of communication open and got it across the line. I want to say a massive thank you to the Haart team in Stevenage…. We can now move on to our dream home and for that we are very grateful! 26th Nov 2024 (7 weeks ago)Highly recommended. We've had to deal with estate agents a lot lately and Michael Graham stand head and shoulders above all of them. They did a great job of finding people who were potentially interested in our unusual house (rather than loads of ill-matched viewers) and then helping us through what turned out to be a complex sale process. Everyone we dealt with was excellent: great communication, really efficient service, calm and friendly and knowledgeable.

8th Jan 2025 (6 days ago)Stonegate is a small independent estate agency and property management business. I have used them in both roles and the service has been impeccable. Their knowledge of the market in Hitchin is second to none and advice has been invaluable What's more the right hand ( sales) always knows what the left hand (lettings) is doing which makes for excellent communication.

Their professionalism, service, attentiveness, responsiveness and attention to detail is more than I ever thought I'd get from them as letting agents. They put in effort with viewings and found a great tenant for my house. I'd advise any landlord going with them. There is a reason why they have the best Google reviews of any lettings agent in Stevenage!
26th Jun 2021 (3 years ago)If you are selling your house in the Arlesey area, in my opinion, you would be mad not to use Gothic Estates. They not only have the lowest fees they give by far the best service of any estate agent I have ever bought or sold with. I never had to chase them once for information, they were always keeping us up to date throughout the process. I can honestly say if it were not for them chasing solicitors up and down our chain there is either a good chance our chain would have fallen apart or we would have moved many, many, weeks later than we did. From great pragmatic advice to open and honest conversations it has been a pleasure to work with Gothic Estates throughout the process they are an example to the industry and a rare gem.

Excellent communications - fast and reliable and kept on top of it throughout the whole process. I would thoroughly recommend Vicki, Helen and the team at VLS. I know who I'll be using if / when I come to sell my home!
