24th Mar 2024 (18 weeks ago)We could not have been more satisfied with the professional confident knowledgeable and friendly service provided by Whiteheads when selling our house. From the very start every aspect of the process was handled by them in an extremely professional confident way. Excellent photos and brochure, every viewing was handled by them and every stage of the sale was managed by them. We were confident in knowing the whole process was being totally professionally managed. We would only choose Whiteheads for our future estate agency business.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Photography was good. Trying to arrange viewings which they were able to facilitate was difficult. They were not as flexible as we would have liked. They were also the agents for the property we were purchasing and this was our main reason for selecting them to market our house.

From the start they were very professional with excellent communication throughout the process. They did a great job with the marketing of my property and generated lots of interest and viewings. My first buyer dropped out but Dan got me sold again in less than two weeks for the full asking price. Excellent service would 100% recommend.

From the very beginning Sammy was totally honest and transparent. He initially came across as too good to be true and therefore unfortunately caution made me go to a well know National agency. 12 Weeks later with no results I decided to go back to Sammy. My home had sold within a week. His photos were totally superior with no fuss made. The description was very accurate and attractive. We're not at the finish gate yet but I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sammy at Open House Burton & Swadlincote.
