8th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)just before christmas we were asked to vacate a property at short notice as the landlord had decided to sell it, fortunately we found a suitable house quickly and prepared the property to a high standard, paying a deposit on the new house and moving out. We are Nearly a month into chasing for the return of the £1300 + Deposit paid to your move who today advised that they cannot get in touch with the landlord - the deposit is not there responsibility - suggesting that we chase it up ourselves - They have taken the rent, the deposit,issued the agreemant, done the inventory, ensured we hope that the deposit was insured as legally required as the agent - Now they have basically told us to go away - Shocking service and really worrying behaviour from a letting agency who look good on the face of it but do not look after the interests of their tenants - stuff you hear about but never hope to experience - Today we collected some mail from the agent who asked us to delete the review and added that legally the deposit does not have to be returned for 90 days , after which we are able to take further action - Had we been told this before we rented the property we would not have taken up the tenancy - we still dont know who the deposit is insured through - not getting anywhere fast.

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. 24th Mar 2024 (26 days ago)We could not have been more satisfied with the professional confident knowledgeable and friendly service provided by Whiteheads when selling our house. From the very start every aspect of the process was handled by them in an extremely professional confident way. Excellent photos and brochure, every viewing was handled by them and every stage of the sale was managed by them. We were confident in knowing the whole process was being totally professionally managed. We would only choose Whiteheads for our future estate agency business.

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The process was made easy during a difficult time by Paul and all of his team. When I look back at the 2 1/2 years that we worked with these people I cannot think of a single thing to raise as a negative …… the team at George Edwards are helpful, professional , thorough , honest and excellent value for money. If you are reading this pondering the question of who to engage for your property needs it’s simple. … these guys are the best!!! Thank you Paul and your team
