2nd Sep 2026 (24 days ago)The process of selling our house was completely hassle free from start to finish. Sarah visited us pre sale & explained the proposed timeline of events & all the associated costs from Home report, selling, marketing & conveyance. We were advised how to present the property for marketing purposes & all appointments were as per the arrangements made. Our house sold very quickly in no small part down to the excellent promotional material produced by Sarah with the help of her large presence on Social media. In summary we were delighted with the service we received from Sarah at Property Connections & would recommend her services to others in a heartbeat.
16th Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Worst company imaginable. Gave us misinformation for over six months regarding entry dates and also told us development was finished when it was not. Double check everything you are told by them. They misled us and we ended up over £18000 out of pocket. Avoid this company at all cost. They don’t admit liability for anything they do.

Although there were Googlemaps issues with my advert, he persevered with having Google fix the problem . His communication is excellent: prompt and courteous. The subcontractors he appoints for photography and home report are top quality. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

Moving up from London this was quite a big move, combined with being unfamiliar with the Scottish system. By far the best experience I have had with solicitors in when buying or selling. A personal service (not everything put into an online portal and no one to actually speak to). Scott was fully hands on. Happy to meet in person, and take calls when needed. Efficient, communicative, minimum of fuss. The whole experience was superb and I could not recommend them enough if buying a house.

10th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)This company allowed their client to get to moving date without doing their due diligence and properly verifying the source of funds, resulting in postponing the move date by 3 days for all 7 people in the chain.<br>This happened on the day the move was supposed to take place, weeks after everyone was in a legal binding contract!<br>Please avoid at all costs!
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

17th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)We had a viewing arranged this evening at Grosvenor Crescent with Cara Haston. We received a text this morning confirming that the viewing was going ahead at 6pm, so were very surprised when nobody from Savills turned up at the property.<br><br>We had both made the trip into Edinburgh specifically for the viewing and had each paid separately for parking nearby, only to be left waiting with no communication.<br><br>We tried calling the Edinburgh office, only to find that it was closed. Our call was redirected to the London office, where we were told they would try to find out what had happened and get back to us. Unfortunately, we never received a return call or any explanation.<br><br>It was a frustrating waste of both our time and money, particularly given that the appointment had been confirmed only that morning. It also doesn’t reflect particularly well on the service being provided to the seller, whose property was effectively left without a scheduled viewing taking place.<br><br>Overall, a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. We had expected a much higher standard of communication and organisation from Savills, given its reputation as one of the more established estate agents.

I conducted the viewings myself with the help of a family friend but Urquharts made the appointments while consulting with us over our availability. Advice was succinct yet with the reasoning clearly explained.

Stephen provided such an excellent personal service - right from the initial marketing to completion of the sale. He kept me informed throughout and provided very helpful advice. It felt very different from dealing with a large corporate agency as I’ve done in the past and I would not hesitate to recommend Cullerton’s.
