2nd Mar 2025 (1 year ago)My communication with Winkworth was on and off. During that intermittent interaction with one of their agent, he sounded professional and very eager to assist with the selling. Overall Winkworth tried their best to sell my property but unfortunately was unsuccessful.

26th Jan 2026 (21 weeks ago)Really strange and rude estate agent, walked in with my wife a few weeks ago and spoke to an elderly man Jonathan who manages this place. He was extremely rude and judged us on our appearance - we weren't dressed like "Hampsteaders" and said he'd follow up with properties and never did. I work in Private Equity alongside my wife, we would have happily closed on a place and made them a good cut. We will go somewhere else.
23rd May 2019 (7 years ago)Lived in property of which Devonshire estate agents were who we came to instead of landlord for help. Would not recommend to anyone. Very quick to take money for fees and rent but that’s all. Complained for months and nothing ever got resolved. Very unhappy with their service

He's a professional in his field and a very kind and helpful person. Throughout the entire rental period, he supported and helped with all matters related to our rental property. I'm very happy with his work, I recommend him to everyone, and I want to express my deepest gratitude to him!

13th May 2020 (6 years ago)I really wanted to like the agency. However, having just dealt with some other estate agents I can honestly say that Phillips and CO are very old fashioned and the worst at communication. Let me explain more. TLDR; our purchase fell through after months of discussions. We were initially told by the agent that there is no chain, after weeks of chasing they eventually confirmed that there is a chain - all that needed to happen was a phone call the vendors and some shouting at them. Anyway, We put this hurdle behind us and agreed to wait as the vendor had already found a house. It has been 2-3 months of constant chasing for updates which normally goes like this: 1. I send an email asking for an update 2. A week goes by with no response 3. I call them to find out what is going on 4. They give me an excuse that the vendors aren’t responsive but they are chasing as much as possible 5. They tell me they will call me back once they have spoken with the vendor 6. Another few days...still nothing 7. I call them, raise my tone and again get some stupid response. I fully appreciate that the vendors aren helpful. The issue I have with this estate agent is that they have poor communication skills, no idea on how to manage customer expectations. I have never had to chase an estate agent so much, it’s normally other way around - they chase and you hide! Avoid if possible guys!

I have been renting in London for the past 15 years, and during that time, I’ve dealt with all the massive corporate names—Foxtons, Dexters, Antony Roberts, and Hastings. Without fail, I had a frustrating issue with every single one of them. The typical London renting experience usually involves dealing with agents who are arrogant, pushy, and completely indifferent once they get your money. Websters is the complete antithesis of that. They are, without a doubt, the best estate agency I have ever dealt with. Here is why they completely blow the competition out of the water: Incredibly Prompt & Responsive: You are never left chasing them. They reply quickly, action requests immediately, and actually respect your time. They Genuine Listen: Unlike the big corporate chains that just try to shove any property down your throat to hit a target, Websters listened to my specific needs and actually tried to match them. Flawless Communication: They keep you posted at every single stage of the process. You are never left in the dark wondering what is happening. Polite, Professional, and Caring: The team is genuinely nice. While other agents come across as arrogant and cold, the staff at Websters are deeply caring and human. Whether you are a tenant looking for a stress-free home search or a landlord wanting your property managed by professionals who actually care, I cannot recommend Websters highly enough. They have completely restored my faith in estate agents!

Tiffiny was extremely proactive and her speed of responses to our questions is super fast. All in all, it was a very seamless process thanks to Tiffiny !

5th Jun 2026 (15 days ago)We trusted Nauman because of his long-standing relationship with my father-in-law. Based on his advice, our 4-bedroom property was partitioned and converted into a 5-bedroom house to achieve higher rent. This required significant renovation costs, yet the rent we received over six years did not even reflect the value of a standard 3-bedroom property. Had proper advice been given, we could have saved a substantial portion of those costs and avoided considerable financial loss. Bilal and his family (tenants) later informed us that they were paying approximately £2,600 per month first 3 years and £2800 for the remaining years with around £1,000 being taken in cash. we were getting 1650 odd for first 3 years and 1800 odd for remaining.This raises serious concerns regarding transparency, payment handling, and potential tax-related issues. After extensive research into guaranteed rent and letting arrangements, I have not found a legitimate case where a letting company retains anything close to 36% commission. More concerning is that this percentage was never disclosed before the agreement was signed. We were never informed of the differences between guaranteed rent, full management, or partial management options. We were shown a single advertisement and relied entirely on your expertise, while you had full knowledge of the market and we did not. Even your own relative, Mr. Abbas, expressed surprise when I explained the figures and stated that we should have been receiving at least £2,500–£2,600 per month, even under a guaranteed-rent arrangement. He advised that only Mr. Asif Sahib could help resolve this matter. We also learned that efforts were made to convince Bilal and his family that our property could potentially be purchased below market value because we supposedly would never return to the UK. If true, this represents a serious breach of trust. Regarding 4A Ingleby Road, you promised three weeks' rent if we provided certain tenant posts, yet that promise was never honoured despite us losing nearly four months' rent, ironically it wasnt on gauranteed terms.. At the same time, you appeared willing to assist individuals involved in unauthorised subletting. The property was allegedly sublet for an extended period without effective oversight, despite management fees being collected. The rental history also requires explanation. We received approximately £900–£1,100 per month for many years, while the same property now generates around £2,100 per month. Over 8–10 years, this suggests an extraordinarily high effective commission of approximately 40–45%, which was never properly explained or justified. Communication was equally disappointing. Calls and messages were often ignored, and when responses were provided, they rarely addressed the actual concerns raised. You frequently emphasised that your earnings were halal, yet whenever transparency, accountability, fairness, or justification were requested, clear answers were never provided. For context, while these properties were generating income for others, we were living in rented accommodation ourselves, paying approximately £1,900 per month (excluding bills) for a 2-bedroom side extension of the exact same house, while receiving around £1,650 per around 3 years initially and around £1,850 thereafter upon request for increament in rent. This is not simply about money. It is about trust, transparency, morality, accountability, and humanity. I invite property link to publicly explain these figures, decisions, commissions, and actions so that future landlords can make informed decisions before placing their trust in your hands.
