The process was not straightforward, as our original buyer's chain collapsed when they lost their own purchaser. The team handled this professionally, helped secure a new buyer and kept the sale moving forward. Jonathan was excellent from the outset, Caroline did a fantastic job progressing the transaction through a lengthy and detailed conveyancing process, and Martin and James were always available when needed. What stood out most was the wider team. Whenever we called the office, whoever answered took ownership of the query, followed things up and came back to us when promised. We always felt informed and supported. Selling a house is rarely stress free, but Hamptons Fleet made the process as smooth as possible and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
23rd May 2026 (22 days ago)????? Libby, Mike, and the team at Bridges were outstanding — they didn’t just sell our house, they helped us find our forever home. Mike came to value our property and is genuinely one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with. Honest and transparent - and very personable. We knew he and Libby would get get the job done. From the moment we listed, they had buyers through the door within days from their existing client base, resulting in 3 offers at or above asking price. On the buying side, Libby really listened to what we were looking for and, thanks to Bridges’ impressive portfolio, was able to secure us a first viewing on the exact street we’d had our eye on — and then went on to secure the property for us too. What made the whole experience so seamless was how well they managed both sides of the transaction. Libby is a fantastic negotiator, communicated clearly throughout, and went above and beyond organising follow-up viewings with our architect and surveyors. Always responsive, always professional. One of the best — if not the best — estate agents in Fleet. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Paul in particular stood out — when we made an offer on a property, he genuinely listened to our reasoning and clearly articulated our position to the vendor. Unlike some agents, he made us feel understood rather than dismissed, and it was refreshing to deal with someone who truly got where we were coming from. The team continued to proactively share properties that matched what we were looking for, staying engaged and helpful throughout. Although we ultimately purchased a property not listed with them, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mackenzie Smith — professional, friendly, and a cut above.
2nd Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

Amalia was incredibly proactive — constantly reaching out with properties she thought would suit us and quick to book viewings whenever we expressed interest. Always on it, always one step ahead. Victoria was a true standout. She came to value our property and, even though we didn’t end up listing with McCarthy Holden, she remained completely professional and continued to suggest and show us homes that fit our criteria without any hesitation. What really set her apart though was her warmth — she was always so kind and welcoming to our 9-month-old who joined us on viewings, keeping them entertained throughout. It’s the little things that make a big difference, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Even though I wasn't paying them directly and I wasn't their client, they were hugely supportive, both professionally and personally when I was stressed and overwhelmed. They were so proactive and the only ones in the chain to be driving the process forward and offering constant help. I love my home and can't imagine ever moving but when I do I will definitely be selling with Mackenzie Smith.

He provided a realistic valuation, provide a swift marketing service, having gone live on Monday, with two viewings within 24 hours and several scheduled for that week, both initial viewings yielded offers, one of which was at the full asking price. Property sold subject to contract as at 30 May 2026 I would highly recommend Charlton Grace, Mark has provided a bespoke/specialised service with clear communication and professionalism all at a very competitive agency rate, excellent job to date. From the beginning, they were professional, honest, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. Before purchasing the property, I contacted them twice because I felt the house price was higher than the real market value. Instead of ignoring my concerns, they took the time to listen carefully and speak directly with the owner. They explained the actual market situation professionally and honestly, which helped both parties reach a fair agreement. What impressed me most was that they were not only looking after the seller, but also supporting me as the buyer. Even though the seller was paying their commission, they still treated me fairly and worked hard to make sure the deal was right for everyone. They played a very important role in helping the sale go through smoothly, and I truly appreciate their positive attitude, transparency, and professionalism. Having not moved for 38 years they certainly gave us confidence during the whole process. From our initial meeting with Dan who valued the house and showed such enthusiasm for it & also kept in constant contact with us, we knew we had chosen correctly. When Dan went on Paternity we then dealt with both Brian & Nick if we had any questions and they replied almost immediately. Everything was straightforward until the last few weeks when we had a few hiccups approaching exchange but they sorted everything out, kept in constant contact and finally ‘got us over the line’! We move next week and are so excited! We want to say a huge thankyou for all of their help, making this move a pleasure! We could not have asked for more and cannot recommend them enough!

Staff were almost always available for any queries we had and if not would always get back to us asap. Staff were very friendly and we feel always understood or needs and expectations .
