The whole process was smooth and we were kept informed of progress throughout. James in particular was excellent nothing was too much and made us feel at ease through the whole process. I would highly recommend them when it come to selling property
16th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I had an excellent experience with Daniels Estate Agency, thanks in large part to my agent, Josef Castro From the very beginning, he was friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, making the whole process feel straightforward and stress-free. Josef Castro was always quick to respond to any questions I had and ensured that everything related to my rental was handled efficiently. His communication was clear and consistent, which made a big difference. During the property viewing, he was professional, well-prepared, and thorough. He took the time to provide all the necessary information and made sure I felt confident in my decision. I’m very happy with how smoothly everything went, and I would highly recommend both Josef Castro and Daniels Estate Agency to anyone looking for reliable and professional service.

28th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)?? Avoid this letting agent at all costs! They advertised a property that turned out to be completely uninhabitable. On the surface, it looked like a refurbished flat — but there was no running water, which meant no toilet facilities either. This was documented on the check-in inventory, and the management company reassured us that a plumber would be sent. The plumber attended but couldn’t fix the issue. We later discovered there was a major fault with the water tank, meaning the water couldn’t be turned on at all. We were forced to cope without water and without toilet facilities for five days. We’ve now moved out because the situation became unbearable. What’s even more disappointing is the letting agent’s response. They claim they are “let only” and rely solely on information provided by the landlord. The landlord deemed the property habitable, and the agent simply accepted that — refusing to take any responsibility. Instead of mediating or trying to help resolve the situation, they provided contradictory information and washed their hands of the problem. You can judge a company by how they handle issues, and this experience showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. ?????? Do not sign any tenancy agreements with this agent. ?????? Avoid them if you value basic living conditions and professional service

He understood quickly what we were looking for. His response to any concerns or queries we had was immediate and he made as much time as we needed for us to view the flat. We are delighted with the outcome.
13th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I had a very bad experience with this agency. Initially, the property was advertised for £2000, but after I agreed, the rent was suddenly increased to £2100. I was also asked to pay multiple deposits and advance rent, which I did in full. When I received the keys and moved in, the house was not ready at all. There were multiple issues—no proper electricity setup, no gas card, broken fittings, and unfinished repairs. Even though I was promised everything would be fixed, it took over a month after moving in to complete basic work. Later, serious issues like no heating and no hot water continued for months. Despite repeated complaints, the landlord failed to take responsibility and even asked me to arrange repairs myself, which is unacceptable when full rent is being paid. I gave proper notice and paid all rent up to my move-out date. However, now the landlord is refusing to return my deposit and is still making unreasonable demands. This has been one of the worst renting experiences I’ve ever had. Very unprofessional service, poor maintenance, and no accountability. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

13th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)I would strongly advise people to avoid V&A Properties at all costs. In my experience, this company is not who they present themselves to be. I have had a property with them since the 1st of April. From the beginning, I was pressured with constant phone calls to sign the contract and tenancy agreement. There were known issues with repairs in the property, but I was told that tenants were happy to decorate and accept the condition, which led me to proceed with signing the tenancy agreement. We went ahead and installed brand new appliances through Currys — including a washing machine, fridge, electric hob, and oven. We even paid an additional fee for professional installation, all completed and signed off by Currys installers. However, two weeks later, I was informed that the property was “not certified” and that tenants could not be placed there. When I asked what exactly was not certified, I was told that the cooker needed to be a freestanding unit. Without consulting me or getting my approval, they arranged for an electrician to carry out work and then sent me a bill of £1,400. Their communication has been extremely poor throughout. They also claimed they had emailed me over the weekend and that I had agreed to pay for this work. When I questioned this, it became clear that the email had just been sent at that moment, yet they were trying to say I had already agreed. From my experience, this company operates unprofessionally and without proper communication. They made decisions without my consent and then expected me to cover the costs. Please avoid this company if you can and look for a more reliable estate agent. I am now seeking legal advice

From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. Andrew kept me informed at all stages and the dedicated WhatsApp group proved a very efficient method of communicating. A very friendly and efficient firm and I would highly recommend them.

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
18th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)I have scheduled an appointment with Taylor's estate agents for 16:00pm yesterday. Finished work at 14:30pm and rushed home to change and get a shower pick up my kids and then go to the appointment on time. Waited for 20 minutes for the agent to show up however he didnt even apologise for being late. Apparently they scheduled 4 slots all for 4pm although we had to enter and view the house 1 by 1. Anyway after i entered the house i was absolutely shocked by what i have witnessed. It was something i have never seen before not to mention that the agent was late 20 minutes but the state of the house was mild to say disgusting and filthy. The toilet looked like it hasn't been cleaned for a while. Both the sink and the bath were covered in dirt and bodily leftovers. There was a mold leftover on the sides of the bath which hasn't been properly removed but a new layer of silicone had been applied on the top of the unresolved mold underneath. One of the bedrooms appeared with mold on all the seals and the wall by PVC was falling apart. Not to mention the cobwebs and the died flies and spiders. Went to the other bedroom same situation after which i asked the agent if there is any particular reason for the state of the property and expressed my concerns to which he replied oh its just a dirt needs to be cleaner and i said im sorry but thats filth and mold not being properly maintained, and mold underneath a new layer of silicone. I alsed the representative if he thinks that is an appropriate state to present and advertise a property and he replied its all right just needs to be cleanerld by you like its my job to clean the property before moving in. Its the same when moving out if you leave a mess you'd have taken from your deposit thus the need to leave the house in appropriate (clean) state. In overall quite disgusting experience that im not planning to repeat again with that agency. Wouldn't recommend it at any costs. Nevertheless the unprofessional agent coming late but with high quality dress code a suit a tie and having his hair all tight up, but didn't bother to appear on time or tidy the property on a satisfactory standards. I almost forgot to mention that i spend the whole day calling and emailing them enquiring to receive a confirmation of the schesuled appointment and an exact adress. The estate agents lack ability,professional,demeanor and conduct. Incompetent and shouldn't practice at all. One of the worst i have encountered.
