19th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)I am leaving a 5 star review however this is simply for Chloe McPhee in the Hamilton office of Countrywide (sadly now moved to another office). We vetted several letting agents and chose Countrywide due to how personal Chloe made the process and how much she kept us in touch with what was going on. Becoming a landlord was a new venture and she made it all very easy.<br>Since she has moved I have had zero correspondence from the office (Chloe has kept in touch despite not being her role anymore...thank you Chloe), and I was only aware the tenants had even moved in after emailing Chloe to find out.<br><br>Thankfully the tenants move in was smooth and I have visited them to iron out a couple of mainetance issues I wanted to get done.<br>5 Stars for Chloe.- 14th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Estate agents generally get bad press; my experience of Slater, hogg & howison is VERY different. My dealings have been with the Shawlands branch, through whom I recently purchased my flat. They have been: unfailingly helpful; conducted the viewing in a friendly and knowledgeable way ( not my universal experience with other estate agents covering this part of Glasgow); highly responsive in getting answers to all my questions; and efficient in handling all aspects of the buying process.<br>I would unhesitatingly recommend them. My sincere thanks to Ellenor and her team.<br>PS Just in case you’re wondering, they did not invite me to make this review, I offered to write one because they deserve praise for the way they conducted business with me.

13th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)Rettie were by far the most unhelpful agents possible. I had an issue with the radiator which I kept asking them about and they refused to help for over 3 weeks in the depths of winter! I had to buy a heated blanket. Then there was a gas issue which they never told us about which we had to get sorted ourselves. Finally, upon leaving the property, Rettie decided to claim there was a stain on the bed underside and deducted a huge amount of deposit even though the stain was there originally. I would never ever use Rettie again!

Always quick to respond to any queries, gave very helpful advice and her knowledge on the local housing market was excellent. I had a very good offer on my property within 24 hours! 8th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)I received a first class service from AB Property Consultants from the start to finish.<br><br>From Alex at my initial meeting to discuss selling my flat, to Lesley & Corey dealing with my flat sale & viewings of other houses.<br><br>Also the professional photography, videos & drone shots they did of my flat were great. They give buyers the first impression of your place, so you want it to be of good quality, which it was.<br><br>I had my first viewer on 23rd July & my flat was sold at closing date on 11th August. So a super service! Thanks.
5th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.

15th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)I own a small flat which is let, and Diane has managed this for a number of years (since before Robinson Moore and CODA merged). If ever there's a problem, she's quick to get in touch to let me know. In some cases a contractor requires to attend and Diane arranges this and any follow up on my behalf. She also keeps on top of the legislation surrounding lets and makes sure the various certifications required are up to date. Obviously there's a cost associated with this level of management, but I live at some distance from the property and knowing that she's there gives me good peace of mind.
18th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)From the first dealings in the Hamilton office of Momo Homes to the conclusion of the sale of our property, all the staff were polite, friendly, courteous and professional in their dealings with us. They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

16th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)The staff Abby, Emma and Stephanie at Allen & Harris were excellent from the second I contacted them. Abby was very knowledgeable of houses in the area and was so pleasant and helpful all through the process. If I needed anything anyone of the girls were only a phone call away. They took so much stress away from us arranging viewings and making sure they kept us updated every day. Thank you so much girls.- 22nd Oct 2026 (8 days ago)I rented through this branch (Slater Hogg & Howison, West End). The landlord served a Notice to Leave and I ended the tenancy early. Since checking out in August, getting my unused rent refunded has been slow and frustrating.<br><br>The refund took many weeks and repeated chasing.<br>The branch confirmed a refund amount in writing, but a later head-office complaint response offered a lower amount without a clear explanation of the difference.<br>I received conflicting answers from different people and was passed between the branch and head office.<br>As of 20 October 2026, I have not received the rent refund.<br><br>I have a formal complaint open and will update this review once it is resolved. Clearer communication and prompt handling of client money would have made a big difference.<br><br>Update: the rent refund was eventually paid on 22 October, after several weeks of chasing and a formal complaint.
