Paul and his colleague Victoria were professional courteous and above all else determined to obtain the best price for me. The sale was smooth and Paul and Victoria guided us through the experience with confidence and expertise. They were on the ball and proactive at all times and always available to me on the phone. I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Hamptons Esher.

2nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Very happy with the service we received from Patrick Gardner, and Sarah in particular. We were not local so it was great that they were happy to deal with potential buyers, including taking meter readings on the completion date, and providing access to the company we were using to clear and clean the house prior to completion. Two negatives. the first was that the clearing and cleaning company, that they put us in touch with, let us down. They did say that they would not recommend any particular company, so shouldn't affect their review, but we did suggest that they took them off their list. Don't know if they have. The second was that they were a bit pushy about having a sale board up. As we were not local, and as the house was vacant, we were reluctant to advertise that the house was up for sale, particularly as, being at the end of a cul-de-sac, there was no passing traffic.
1st Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)We worked with Stuart on buying our place in Cobham and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. His personal approach meant that when there were delays in the chain, he kept very calm, managed the seller very well and didn’t put any pressure on us even though the chain was at risk. Very understanding, happy to help out where he could and someone we would definitely use to sell our place in the future. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

If you're consdiering this agency - as well as looking at those reviews, do ask yourself - if they cannot even be bothered to reply to any of these bad reviews, what are they going to be like if you give them your business? There are so many estate agencies out there, some of which are great, please do invest 10 minutes finding one...

The very kindly contacted the person in question, who in turn contacted me back. They didn't need to help, but they did so and I'm very grateful for that.
17th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)Went down auction route , communication poor , didn’t return calls , over valued property, when asked to supply solicitors had to chase up to find who was dealing with it ! Not very impressed with whole experience so far , have used Cobham branch before with move and that was brilliant no issues ! Will wait to see final outcome!

3rd Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)We bought a house from Seymours. Everyone was extremely helpful throughout the process which was somewhat tortuous due to the last person in the chain. They worked very hard to keep everything going and ending successfully
31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..- 15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Tom Ward was always there to help us and kept us in the loop at all times. He was understanding when hurdles cropped up and always showed patience and compassion to my elderly mother. A great agent in all respects but in this case with assisted living properties.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

They have a fantastic team with a refreshingly positive approach to everything and certainly know how to sell a property, delivering clear concise sales messages supported by top quality videos and brochures, Other team members proactively monitor and support getting the sale through to exchange, something few agents do well. Based on my own recent experience therefore I would definitely recommended Hawksman.

I dealt with David who was incredibly helpful in both providing his insights and offering advice as it was my first purchase. David was very quick to reply making organising viewings/surveys/etc easy to organise with completion just over two months after the first contact. I highly recommend David at Martin and Wheatley and would be glad to use their services again!

As a specialist in Customer Service processes I have found them fair, pro-active and professional. They have also done an excellent job in supporting sales of different properties in the Surrey area for us.

Jennifer and Clare at Surrey Abodes were not only very professional at all times but were also mindful of the stress I was under and never rushed me or put me under any pressure. They were kind and considerate. Clare would make sure I was update with everything and explained and advised in a way that was easy to understand. They will be honest with you about your property but there is no hard selling tactics. Surrey Abodes is a small independent Estate Agents and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

17th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)I would recommend Cedric and his team for buying and selling property. They went the distance and were extremely helpful in the selling of my Great Aunt's house. Cedric met with me to discuss the sensitive issue and showed compassion to my Great Aunt. The other estate Agents did not do that. I met with different members of his Team along the way and they were All professional and helped with the various tricky issues that cropped up. I would definitely use them again, if i needed to do so.
