28th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)We had the pleasure of making James Deamer's acquaintance during our recent purchase of a cottage in Burley. It was refreshing to meet an estate agent with so much enthusiasm and in depth knowledge of the property he sold to us. As such we didn't buy the property from him, he sold it to us...at last an estate agent who doesn't rely on Rightmove to do all of the selling! Couldn't fault his guidance during negotiations or sales progression either, always returned our calls promptly. Wether buying or selling we would recommend James without hesitation.

With first hand experience of both selling and buying with them, I can’t speak highly enough of the professionalism of the team.<br><br>I firmly believe people buy from people and from start to finish I found the whole team to be approachable, warm and genuine. Whilst making the largest purchase you are likely to make in a life time, it’s important to have faith and trust in the people guiding you through the process. Would recommend to anybody!
30th Mar 2022 (4 years ago)Not very good. Not very proactive and little to no feedback. Would not recommend. They also need to get up to date with market trends and new techniques of selling properties. Left them and sold with another agent.
1st May 2026 (6 mo. ago)Communication is very bad have to chase them and most of the times I call they do not answer this I feel puts off potential buyers and at best slows down communication Quality of the pictures was not great and had to be redone Make bookings for viewings when we were not there - did not confirm with us before making the appointment
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We saw a property we liked in ferndown and offered. Our offer was not accepted outright without giving us a chance to rethink the offer like the other agents did.emails back and forth no use. Saw the property had gone for a mere £1000 above our offer. The agent who showed us the property had already decided it was not to be given to us for some strange reason so I am not surprised. Also promised to keep their “ear on the ground “ to let us know if any other property came by in that area. Never heard from them again! Probably they have more clients they exclusively like to cater to so didn’t bother to with us. The property was a lovely one though so happy for whoever got it. But a big thumbs down for this estate agent unless you are one of those kind they wish to cater to. Helena

He was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process, staying on top of everything and making sure all the paperwork was signed on time. His dedication and speed kept what could have been a stressful timeline completely on track. We highly recommend Lee to anyone looking for a proactive, reliable estate agent!
14th Oct 2026 (19 days ago)Terrible estate agent to deal with, one of the worst I have encountered and experienced. Very poor communication and awkward to deal with. Purchased a property through them and buying a house can be challenging at the best of times and they made this process even harder. Plenty of notice was given to them in relation to locating or supplying keys to the windows as these were all locked and presented a potential fire hazard. Supplying the window keys was left to the last minute, just prior to exchange of contracts and completion and the vendor who was selling the property was pushing for a completion deadline and Jordan Marks were not helping in the slightest despite numerous email communications. They even wanted me to exchange and complete prior to this matter being resolved. Avoid this estate agent at all costs. Totally unprofessional, unhelpful, appalling service and communication.

11th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)I hadn’t heard of Stratton Oak Estates until contacting Getagent, and originally had them round only for a valuation. They were so professional and friendly and convinced me to give them a try. From start to finish they kept me fully informed of all viewings, and found a buyer very quickly. They have a very good online service to keep track of the sales progression, as well as regularly phoning and emailing. I have dealt with many Estate Agents over the years, but none have compared close to Stratton Oak Estates.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier.
