1st Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)As one of the Team at Slater Hogg, of course I would choose to sell my house with them. Fees were totally negotiable and I must admit I did flap a little as the viewers were slow in December. Thankfully I have now sold my home, achieving more than Home Report and the Team in Bridge of Weir have also been keeping me up-to-date with potential properties for me to buy. So happy with the price I achieved for my property. Thanks guys :)

Firstly please don't be put off by the big national estate agent brand name as the service is the best and most efficient personal service I have ever received from an Estate Agents. A special mention has to go to Emily who has been truly amazing throughout the whole process. If it wasn’t for Emily the chain may well have collapsed and she has been, warm, friendly, enthusiastic, reliable and extremely efficient throughout the entire process. Estate Agents often get a bad wrap in relation to their value for money but on this occasion I couldn’t disagree more, they are well worth their weight in gold. The whole team there are fantastic and you definitely won’t go wrong if you choose William H Brown in Swaffham to sell your house through, happy buying and selling ????

Fantastic communication, updates and support through the very stressful aspects of moving. They made the process seem less and I would highly recommend Abbotts in particular to the excellent customer service

The team keept us in the loop with weekly updates and helped chase up outstanding or difficult queries with all parties when they could. When our first purchase fell through due to the vendor, Homeworks helped us find another property really quickly. Never felt as if it was too much to call or email them. Would use them to sell in the future.
18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
2nd Apr 2024 (27 days ago)As a development company we have been dealing with Sowerby's regarding the sale of our Development, Quavers in Thornham. I have been very impressed with them. I like their approach to sales with clear guidelines given from the outset with timescales which help manage expectations. I don't like flattery as it leads to bad decision making or at best false expectations and so it was refreshing to find an estate agent that was transparent about likely sales values. However this doesn't mean they wont work for better results if they can be achieved. Very personal dealings with Harry, Spencer and Karen whom ive found to be more than helpful in the journey. He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry
