5th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)Terrible service from DavidLee, would not recommend them to anyone. Staff were rude and unhelpful and caused unnecessary stress to the sale of my property. Do not use DavidLee if you want a simple transaction to go smoothly!

26th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)I have had a very positive experience with the Abbots team in Watton. We are buying a property and are very near completion. John and Hannah have always been extremely helpful and helped us steer the selling and buying course which can be a rocky journey. I would highly recommend using them if you can.- 12th Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)Had a very poor experience trying to collect keys to my first house with this branch. We were due to complete on a Friday but called ahead to let them know we'd be over Saturday afternoon to collect keys. When called on completion day I alerted a 2nd member of staff we'd be coming Saturday afternoon and not right away. We'd be driving from Oxford (3 hours away) so wanted to make sure they were definitely expecting us. We arrive 2:35pm Saturday to an empty branch, wait 90 mins before calling around to see if anyone from other branches can get in touch with the DM agents as they close at 4. The Norwich branch managed to call the DM agent who confirmed out on a Valuation but back soon as only 10-15 mins away and coming back to branch before finishing for the day. An hour then passes so it's 5pm and still no agent. We waited 2.5 hours on an afternoon when they knew we were coming to collect keys and nothing. Lied to the Norwich branch that they would be coming soon. Thankfully no chain so we hadn't arranged removal vans for that day as I have no idea what we'd have done if all our belongings were packed up. To top it all off while waiting the extra hour between 4-5pm my car was driven into in the nearby car park. 6 hours of driving, a wasted day & a damaged car later I get a call from Ollie the branch manager basically saying "yeah, sorry about that, see you next week" Happy to prioritise new business over fulfilling remaining obligations from a previous sale. Dreadful.

9th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Be careful with your deposit. This company is very sneaky and will take at least half of it for 'cleaning' and minor damage which should come under wear and tear if you're an occupant of the house/flat for a certain period of time. They WILL NOT take this into account which is illegal. They will also avoid or defer discussions on the matter to other companies like DPS which makes it harder to claim your deposit back. They will also ignore black mould in a bathroom, even when asked to do something about it, and were slow to reply (weeks) on anything financial. Untrustworthy, unscrupulous and thieving.

8th May 2024 (7 days ago)I recently came in for a mortgage appointment with Archie - he explained everything really clearly and was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He made sure I understood everything which as a first time buyer was really useful. I would definitely recommend booking in to see him ????- 2nd Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Ralph and Lisa helped us to list and sell our house quickly so that we could buy a new property. They were always available to help and communicated well between us, our buyers and our seller. We would use them again.
23rd Jan 2024 (16 weeks ago)We’ve taken a little while to settle into our new home before making this review, As we wanted to make a true and honest review of our experience and how we felt. We went to Abbotts in Cromer to see a mortgage advisor and look at a property we fell in love with on right move. Our mortgage advisor Adam, was amazing. We were shown round by Simon and we loved it. So we put in an offer. This was accepted and the ball got rolling. We then found the communication with abbots go downhill. When we called we were always told they would call us back the same day however each time it was usually about 5 days later and after we already found out the information ourselves from calling the solicitor. So it seemed they were always one step behind. We found this to be annoying and thought maybe this was happening to us because we are first time buyers and we “don’t know any better” but this is just our theory. We were disappointed that the communication broke down. We ended up going through our mortgage advisor for everything instead of the estate agents as we got answers quicker and more efficiently. We would like to thank Adam and Olly at Country wide for going above and beyond for us. We really do think if we would’ve pulled out if it wasn’t for them! On completion day we had to remind them to give us the code to the back door so we could enter our property…as they said Watsons had our front door keys. When we went there they didn’t so it sent us on a wild goose chase to try and find the front door key to the flat building. We were given a number for us to call to organise ourselves to find the keys, which in our opinion this should have been sorted out in day of completion by them. Overall, we are happy we are finally in our home. We wouldn’t use abbots again. I know some people probably have a better experience with them but we unfortunately didn’t. We encourage any first time buyers to look about and ask about the best estate agents etc as we didn’t and we ended up regretting- 23rd Apr 2024 (22 days ago)The visit to value the property was excellent. The standard of clean expected is always incredibly high, Beebys go above and beyond to ensure that properties are clean and well presented for new tenants. The team at Beebys are professional, yet approachable. Always friendly and appreciative. They are an absolute joy to communicate with. We would, and do, recommend them to friends and family who are looking for properties to let or buy.
