14th Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)Avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill Lettings – Unprofessional and Negligent We’ve rented through Brennan Ayre O’Neill for the past 14 months, and it has been a consistently frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish. This review specifically concerns their lettings department, not their estate agency, as we’ve had no dealings with that side. Communication is virtually non-existent. From the beginning, responses were slow and inconsistent. At one point, they didn’t even show up for a scheduled property inspection with no notice or follow-up. This lack of reliability became a recurring issue throughout the tenancy. Maintenance issues were ignored or met with rude, dismissive responses. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered. When we raised serious concerns like damp and mould, the blame was shifted onto us, rather than any real effort made to assess or resolve the problem despite it clearly being a longstanding structural issue. Their contractors were unreliable and careless. Work was frequently left unfinished, and in some cases, contractors left rubbish dumped in the alleyway next to our property. We had to constantly chase both the contractors and the agency for updates or completion and even then, the standard of work and level of accountability was unacceptable. The staff we dealt with were often rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. Once the tenancy was signed, their interest in providing any sort of professional service vanished. It felt like tenants were treated as an inconvenience rather than customers. To any prospective tenants or landlords: avoid Brennan Ayre O’Neill lettings at all costs. They are unresponsive, unprofessional, and take no accountability for problems. We would never rent through them again and strongly advise others to steer clear. Our landlord has now switched letting agents and the difference in just one month says a lot about the property “management” or lack of from Brennan Ayre O’Neill.

29th May 2026 (15 days ago)I would not recommend using Charlesworth Estates to manage the sale or purchase of your home. While they are quick to get you on the books, their sales progression and chain management are completely lacking. We experienced endless delays with our property transaction, largely because the team failed to stay on top of the paperwork or properly communicate between the parties involved. Trying to get a straight answer or any sense of urgency from the office was impossible. An estate agent should be working to make the moving process smoother, but dealing with this branch felt like an uphill battle from start to finish. Take your business to an agent that actually drives the sale forward.

From our first contact with Liam Herrador, everything felt easy, responsive and well handled. Amanda Beard who came out to value the property, was excellent. She took the time to really understand the house and our situation. She cared about getting it right for us. Her follow up and attention to detail was excellent too. We also had contact with another member of the team, Serena, for a possible house purchase and she was so helpful too. All in all, a great experience. Thank you

6th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)Although buying a house is an exciting time, it also is nerve wracking and stressful. I can’t overstate what a difference the Keswick PFK staff made to my recent purchase. Their service is so much more than directing to sales particulars and arranging viewings. From negotiation and offers through to exchange and completion they have been responsive, attentive and gone above and beyond to help the process. Very impressed by this, their efficiency and their knowledge of each house and the locality.

Like many others, I am actively looking to connect with past or present tenants who have been subjected to their misconduct for a potential collective legal claim. Do not be fooled by the persona they project at the start. Once you are locked in, the mask slips. Their management is characterized by habitual dishonesty, gaslighting, and a complete disregard for tenant and statutory rights Interestingly, their standard response to every negative review is to claim it is "fake." It is quite an extraordinary leap to suggest that dozens of people are so bored they’ve decided to fabricate identical stories of negligence and unprofessionalism. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the safety risks. Avoid this agency at all costs. I feel sorry for Landlords who use their service.

7th Feb 2026 (18 weeks ago)The property I am renting has a leaking kitchen ceiling and a boiler that drops pressure at least a couple of times a week. I reported the issues for repairs months ago but I am still waiting for a response and a fix. Feels like poor customer service to me.
