Both Charlie and Dave went above and beyond with getting my sale over the line. Would and will be recommending them to anyone in the area looking to buy or sell a home.

This agency gives the impression of being helpful and supportive, but in reality they are misleading, unresponsive, and only focused on their commission. They make promises they don’t keep and seem to have little genuine interest in the buyer’s situation. I would strongly advise others to stay away and choose a more trustworthy agency.

They always kept me updated at every stage and made sure everything stayed on track. It really felt like they genuinely cared about getting the best outcome for me. I’m really grateful for all their hard work and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. Thanks again!

This time, unfortunately, it was a total nightmare. I had a terrible time with this office! I'd advise against it, if you don't want to end up with headaches and ignorance.

6th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)Not very kind of you to delete my review. Guess I’ll just have to say it again. Everyone is entitled to tell the truth aren’t they Andy? I would appreciate it if you could not delete it this time. I honestly don't even know where to begin with this Man. If you listen to any of these reviews listen to this one. I've spent two years renting a property from 'Davis and partners' they have left me in there for 6 months with no boiler/heating. Black mould everywhere to the point l've had to get an inhaler and steroids. Told me the plumbing and pipe work was not his problem thus causing my bath to fill up everytime I shower and does not drain for two days. About a year ago the upstairs neighbours had a leak it came through my ceiling, going into all of my electrics. Andy told me I was '1000%' safe? And it was just an egg cup full of water! His solution to this mess, was sending a contractor' who stuck the sewage filled wallpaper back to my ceiling and painted over it. Not only this but he also stood on my Hob and cracked it down the middle. Most recently we're talking just a few days here, my upstairs neighbour drained her bath and the entire thing came through my ceiling in the hallway and bathroom. The lights have filled up with water causing my electricity to trip and his response was there is nothing he can do I have to sort it myself. This man is a disgrace and has no problem whatsoever leaving people to live in dire conditions but he has no problem renovating his new office and bragging about it online. He also failed to tell me for two years my rent has been going into the wrong account and when I said I felt extremely uncomfortable with this, his response to me was "okay Casey I'm just simply asking you to pay the rent into the correct account?" I'm just struggling to understand why and how this was not mentioned two years ago? Furthermore, on the 18th of December I emailed Andy with a list of repairs, I then received an eviction notice Dated the same day. I would Recommend not using this estate agent if you would not like to be scammed and left to live in conditions no person should live in. My upstairs neighbour has two very small children and I think it's a disgrace to leave them in such danger. This poor excuse of an estate agent will not help you nor does he care to. No human should be left to live in the conditions this man has no issue leaving people in.

27th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I found Richard James to be very helpful and great local knowledge. Accurate valuation and good marketing. Only downside would be very minimal photos and relying on video tour.

5th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)every time i’ve had dealings with chelton brown, the people have been absolutely lovely but the timing that this company (or perhaps just this office) works on is ridiculous. myself and my partner have attempted to get in contact to try and rent a property with them twice now, and have reached out to them within hours of the property being listed. both times i have had no response from them for days and after reaching out to them to follow up i’ve been told it’s either already let or they are not accepting anymore bookings to view the property. of course, i could understand this if i initially contacted them after a property had been on the market a while but for me to reach out within HOURS of the listing, receive nothing back from them and then be told “we’re sorry we’re not accepting anybody else at the moment” i find it quite frankly ridiculous. again the staff have all been perfectly pleasant when i have spoken to them but its incredibly disheartening to be on it as soon as a listing appears only to not have the opportunity to decide if we even want it or not, simply due to the office neglecting to respond. i understand they’re busy but it’s so frustrating to be rejected unreasonably.

19th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Anna and the whole team were so helpful throughout the sale and made everything a lot easier and less stressful. Even when the first sale fell through for reasons out of their control the house was back on the market the same day and had a new offer the next day. They've chased everyone through the whole process. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We had many issues at the property we were already renting through a private landlord and needed to move out asap but weren't able to commit until payday a few days away when we viewed a property we wanted. Simon went above and beyond to help us secure the property. We work out a time line that worked for us to be able to do what we needed and simon and his team were more than accommodating and helped us when we were able to bring out move in day forward. We cannot recomend them enough!
