2nd Oct 2023 (7 mo. ago)Have they gone out of business? Not answering phone and not returning messages. Tried to book a viewing with them about a week ago and still not confirmed

2nd Dec 2023 (24 weeks ago)The initial valuation was way too high and meant that my property was competing with bigger and better properties. Having said that I did get a lot of viewings and when I dropped the price I received an offer quickly. Just a shame that time was wasted initially with the over valuation.
17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
9th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Dealt with Mark Waldron on the sale of our house in Riverhead. I would highly recommend both Mark and Knight Frank. Right from the initial valuation appointment, mark gave really solid advice on how to maximise the marketing of the house to achieve the best price in a reasonable timescale. This was in summer 2023 and a difficult market to sell in. Knight Frank got lots of interest in the house and had multiple offers. This was because we followed Marks pricing advice and they put together some really lovely photos, brochures and adverts. We did have issues with our first buyer, who messed us around. Mark spotted this quickly and he was replaced with another buyer within a week. Mark has supported us through the post sale process, always happy to help speak with buyers, solicitors and other agents. If you are serious about selling in Sevenoaks then I highly recommend you talk to Mark and his team at Knight Frank. Thank you

Not only did he match us with our perfect home, but he also introduced us to a wonderful landlord. Every step of the way, from initial viewings to the referencing process and finally taking over the property, was incredibly smooth thanks to Martin's team expertise and attention to detail. Communication was seamless, kept informed every step of the way, ensuring that we were always in the loop. The entire experience was a testament to the agency's dedication to providing top-notch service. I would highly recommend Victor Chandler to anyone in search of a rental/selling/buying property, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future. Thank you, Martin, and the entire team, for making our transition into our new home such a positive experience!

30th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)We have used Mark Beaumont and his team for both renting our property (for two years) and for selling it (this year), and do not have a word of complaint for their work in either area. They have been friendly, honest, organised, on the ball and courteous at all times. Recommended.
18th Jan 2021 (3 years ago)I thought so many times about to do a review as I don’t like to talk badly, but Me and my colleagues were treated so unfair that people should know how they hand things around. We had a contract with them About 7 years, the first agent we had was very good but she left the company and we have to deal with Cherelle very rude, the kitchen ceiling fell due to a problem in the bathroom above, they spent a year saying they would fix it we paid the rent on time, then they asked for the house during the lockdown and did not return the deposit saying it was a room even if I showed my contract. she was treating us badly, playing the fact that I am an immigrant did not understand English very well. in the end I was so stressed by the situation that I just left the house without claiming my rights that they know we cools a compensation for having made me live with the kitchen in that situation and a house full of mood, so think carefully before doing business with them

15th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Lyon LACKS the professionalism, communication, timeliness and responsibility towards its clients. As a buyer, i was left hanging and disappointed and if I were a seller, I doubt I would list my property with this irresponsible company. 20th Mar - I called to enquire on a 2 Bedroom flat posted on Zoopla. Call answered promptly by Gaurav Sekri and viewing appointment was made for the 22nd Mar 12:15PM with Rahool Sekri. 22nd Mar - I arrived promptly for the viewing and was made to wait for close to 30 minutes. Rahool lacked professionalism and was not apologetic at all for arriving late – there was neither a text/email to say that he was delayed. 23rd Mar - I put the offer for the flat via email. No reply or acknowledgement 25th Mar - I sent an email for a follow up on the offer. Rahool replied with a confirmation. 28th Mar - I sent an email to check on the update on my offer. Rahool replied for me to call which i did. I was told that he would provide an update on 5th Apr. The expectation from Rahool was for me to share if had found something and my expectation was the same for Lyon to share an update on my offer. 5th Apr - As there was no email/call from Rahool, i called Rahool hoping to get an update. My call was rejected and i received a text message that he will give me a call back. No call back received. 8th Apr - I sent an email for a follow up on the offer. Till date, I have not received any reply. I have concluded that my offer was potentially rejected by the seller however there should have been some form of communication from Lyon. It is irresponsible and unacceptable to leave clients hanging. They have lost a potential client and if i were you, i would not use Lyon! Stay away!

He handled both our buying and selling processes seamlessly. A trustworthy estate agent who provided us with a great experience. Highly recommended.
26th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)The tenants below me rent via Westmount. The tenants thought they could run a wire across my front door step and this agency agreed with them. Clearly don’t know what the legalities are because the two joint leaseholders asked for it be changed when I said it was in the way and put there without my permission. If anyone thinks this image is ok I’d be shocked. The tennants and Westmount were adamant it could stay like that. I had to waste my time calling the leaseholders to get it changed - who agreed this is not sustainable for the long term. The staff at Westmount were rude and if I were to let my property out I wouldn’t use them.

12th Jan 2024 (18 weeks ago)1 star is too much for this establishment, the worst estate agent known to man, I would not trust them at all, kept over 50% of out deposit for a small stain on the carpet, and charged us for a professional cleaning service at the end of the tenancy, when it was never cleaned when we first moved in, I got the entire flat pained before moving out but charges as for marks on the wall. They will invade your privacy with unannounced property visits and use the set of key they hold to gain entry. Very very bad communication. I would head for the hills if I came across them again Good luck and stay away
