4th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)Had a place in Rotherham town centre, dealing with Carly and Josh specifically at BRH. The moving out report had them trying to charge me for cleaning and damages that were there from the original time of moving in, even when the same damages were they from the day I moved in. Wouldn't recommend as they're job is to get the money from you, and have no further reasoning. From independent adjudication the moving out costs was more than halved than what flatfair and BRH had proposed.
12th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)I can't rate Jonathan etc al at BJP enough; we had an ardous conveyancing and were relocating from Kent. Even though they were not our agents Jonathan kept us fully informed, liaising with everyone and returned all calls. Had a few issues when we did finally move and they popped round after a few days to check in and even offered to light our range/lend us heating equipment. Couldn't ask for more really. Thanks guys (Michelle & Alan)
10th Apr 2024 (16 days ago)We were unsure how best to sell our home to achieve the quick sale that we required. Katie from John Francis was great with her valuation and getting a nice listing up on the website. She suggested we sell via the "modern auction method" with their I AM SOLD collaboration. Everything worked very well. There were a few very minor delays on account of some lender issues, but on the whole we were kept well informed by I AM SOLD & Dylan at JF Pontardawe. The price received was a little under the initial valuation but a very fair price overall. The I AM SOLD method gives the buyer impetus to complete in a timely manner, which is mainly a good thing from a seller's perspective. We are very grateful to you all for getting everything sorted and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone selling by this method and through this agent. Thank You

24th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Absolutely horrendous experience. No for sale board outside for 8 weeks (apparently they forgot) No virtual tour (why would they do that when the house is empty) Um... to help sell my house!! Not informed of feedback. They tried to terminate my contract with them saying I wasn't happy with their service just because I questioned why the above things haven't been carried out as part of the service they offered. They had me literally in tears the way the spoke to me, I've never been spoken to like this in my life! After being in Absolute tears they said they would "keep me on"!! I'm glad to say, I moved swiftly over to Clee who were absolutely amazing, kept me fully informed, kind, caring and sold my house within weeks! Well done Clee

28th Oct 2023 (5 mo. ago)Marvellous family run business owner very helpful really nice guy staff were amazing, rented a property from them no trouble what so ever, Highly recommend- 23rd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)TLDR: Sold property during tenancy, told I'd be unaffected before being told I had 2 days to move out, demanding double rent payment, refusal to refund deposit & rent overpayment on a property they no longer own. Happy to take action when a rent layment is 2 days 'late' (even if the payment isn't a valid one) but outright reject liability categorically when it comes to refunding tenants. Thieves and con-artists. Moved in end of March 2021, landlord sold the property during my tenancy and I was told it'd make no difference to me (sold with tennant) 2 days before the sale was final I am visited by the new landlord to clarify that I'd be moving out October 15th (this was on October 13th) as Peter Alan informed him I was leaving. No conversation had been had with me. Was made to sign a new contract, find a new deposit and rent half way through the month and was told my previous deposit and rent overpayment will be refunded. Instead, Peter Alan attempted to charge me rent on the 1st of November (on a property they no longer managed and insisted I was moving out), then issued me with late payment warnings and potential action. Since then I have been fighting to get my refund back. I have had my deposit (as its held seperately) but I am still fighting to get my refund back. Peter Alan insist they are not liable to repay my refund even though my statements show that my payments were sent to Peter Alan. I've had nothing but excuses, deceit and unproffesionalism from Peter Alan, particularly Kim Wilkes whom seems to spend the vast majority of her time either never in the office and therefore never working, or just blatantly ignoring emails from me on the matter. Legal actions have already begun though given how this will now take time, I'd rather for-warn potential tenants ahead of time! Given the choice between going with Peter Alan again or being homeless, I'll be finding myself a nice box

26th May 2022 (1 year ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

Sam provides a nonsense approach and is committed to professionalism; a breath of fresh air in the estate agency world of over-valuations and promises! Valuations are prompt and realistic and I regularly recommend Sam to my clients when they are looking at selling.

Our journey was not an easy one, as we had a lot of difficulty with our sellers solicitors, but he was there every step of the way. He was as invested in the move as much we were.
