Providing viewings right from the start and selling the property within a month. I was contacted right the way through the process, both in a friendly and professional manner. Throughout the process of finding suitable tenants, to managing the tenancy they were a pleasure to deal with and incredibly professional. Based on this, I contacted them again, just recently, to value the same property, as I have decided to sell. I was impressed to find that when I contacted Smith’s the woman who answered my call remembered me and was also complimentary about my house. Tom Edmunds arrived to value my house, discuss my needs and help me understand the current property market. He listened carefully to my concerns and took these into consideration. Tom provided excellent advice about how to prepare my place for sale and was extremely knowledgeable about what potential buyers might be looking for. Most importantly, I didn’t feel at all pressured into making any decisions and Tom offered sound advice concerning my current financial situation and made me think that perhaps now might not be the right time for me to move. In a years time I could be in a much stronger position. Moving house is such a major and life changing decision, so it is absolutely imperative that you trust the people you have instructed to do the best for you in this process. Everyone wants the best price for their house. Within a couple of days of the valuation a detailed presentation was prepared and it was clear that Tom had been extremely diligent in production of a carefully researched valuation. I would have absolutely no hesitation, when the time is right, in instructing Smiths to sell my property and would feel in very safe hands.

11th Oct 2024 (14 weeks ago)we had a poor experience with them from start to finish they valued our house far too high, had no interest because it was valued far too high, their communication was awful just a terrible experience all together- 23rd Dec 2021 (3 years ago)TLDR: Sold property during tenancy, told I'd be unaffected before being told I had 2 days to move out, demanding double rent payment, refusal to refund deposit & rent overpayment on a property they no longer own. Happy to take action when a rent layment is 2 days 'late' (even if the payment isn't a valid one) but outright reject liability categorically when it comes to refunding tenants. Thieves and con-artists. Moved in end of March 2021, landlord sold the property during my tenancy and I was told it'd make no difference to me (sold with tennant) 2 days before the sale was final I am visited by the new landlord to clarify that I'd be moving out October 15th (this was on October 13th) as Peter Alan informed him I was leaving. No conversation had been had with me. Was made to sign a new contract, find a new deposit and rent half way through the month and was told my previous deposit and rent overpayment will be refunded. Instead, Peter Alan attempted to charge me rent on the 1st of November (on a property they no longer managed and insisted I was moving out), then issued me with late payment warnings and potential action. Since then I have been fighting to get my refund back. I have had my deposit (as its held seperately) but I am still fighting to get my refund back. Peter Alan insist they are not liable to repay my refund even though my statements show that my payments were sent to Peter Alan. I've had nothing but excuses, deceit and unproffesionalism from Peter Alan, particularly Kim Wilkes whom seems to spend the vast majority of her time either never in the office and therefore never working, or just blatantly ignoring emails from me on the matter. Legal actions have already begun though given how this will now take time, I'd rather for-warn potential tenants ahead of time! Given the choice between going with Peter Alan again or being homeless, I'll be finding myself a nice box

I look forward to contacting the porthcawl branch in the new year to hopefully view properties with the team.
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

They consistently kept me updated throughout the process and were instrumental in addressing delays caused by my solicitors. Their proactive approach in expediting the sale was invaluable, especially given the challenges I faced with my solicitors. Impressively, they notified me about the completion and key collection even before my solicitor did! Additionally, they were accommodating with meeting arrangements and allowed me to visit the property for measurements before moving in. I was delighted to receive a welcome card and a gift bag with my key as a thoughtful gesture upon completion. I highly recommend them to both sellers and buyers. Their proactive approach in ensuring the sale went through smoothly was incredibly reassuring for me as a buyer, as well as for the seller who was equally eager to complete.

I recently finished a property and wanted to rent it out and have it managed, so reached out to Kayleigh Ashford from NEXA. Kayleigh was so quick to respond to every question I had, and had my place rented out after the first viewings - for more than initially expected too! Will continue to work with Kayleigh on future purchases, could not recommend her enough!

The move ended up taking a long time and there were alot of complications with the forward chain. Steve was always the voice of reason and always so calm and reassuring. He always explained things in layman's terms so I could understand the process. Steve was amazing keeping my first time buyer engaged in the process even though it took so long. I can't thank him enough for his professionalism and calm head. Thanks Steve and thanks sullivans
2nd Sep 2024 (20 weeks ago)This is the first time we have used Moving You after Andy and his team were recommended to us by our daughter who had used him in the past. I have to say that from start to finish the service we had was brilliant. Andy carried out the initial valuation whilst Nicola took the images ready for marketing. Both then carried out viewings on our behalf. Andy's marketing is great - across all the usual platforms and all over social media. Unlike many Estate Agents he was able to offer appointments at weekends as well as during the week and Nicola was a brilliant person to have accompanying viewers. We sold in just a month, in a challenging market, at just over the asking price and from then on the process was smooth and efficient. Andy's online portal was a great help and he was only ever a phone call away if we needed to discuss anything with him. We have bought and sold a number of houses over the last 20 years and while our other estate agents were great, I really feel that Andy was worth all the commission he and Nicola earned. I won't hesitate to recommend his agency to anyone who may need it. Thanks Guys
