29th Sep 2022 (4 years ago)I'd happily recommend Sharman Quinney to anyone looking for mortgage advisor. I used them to get a mortgage for purchasing my first house. Phil was extremely helpful and made the experience very easy. I had been left in the dark by another mortgage advisor which made the start of the already daunting experience even worse. Phil set me at ease, he made the effort to keep in contact and guide me through the whole process. He explained everything clearly and offered good advice wherever I was unsure. All while being a genuine and friendly guy who clearly cares about his client’s needs.

From the sensible sales valuation by Emma (priced accurately to sell in a tough market) through to the timely completion managed by Sonja, they were professional, polite, efficient, considerate, knowledgeable and empathetic. I’ve bought/sold 7 houses and this was the easiest process of all those transactions.

Having used a different estate agent for several months before without success we moved to Newton Fallowell and found them to be very proactive. We sold the house in relatively quick time. They were also very patient as it took quite some time to get the grant of probate and in fact it was only granted just in time for the sale. I would thoroughly recommend them.

The team were thorough and prompt with every reply, and guided us through each step of the process. We've now got the keys to our new home and absolutely love it. We're so excited to start this new chapter in Stamford.

26th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Selling my late father’s house was never going to be an easy process, but Briggs were excellent from start to finish.
Unfortunately, the sale fell through twice before we finally succeeded on the third attempt. We were very unlucky with the first two sales collapsing, but throughout the process, Briggs remained understanding, patient and supportive.
Communication was consistently clear and concise, and any questions or requests were dealt with promptly and professionally. I really appreciated their continued efforts and understanding, particularly given the setbacks and the additional work involved in getting the sale over the line.
I was genuinely pleased that we were finally able to complete the sale with Briggs after all their hard work and perseverance. They provided an excellent service during what was a difficult and often frustrating time for our family.
I would highly recommend Briggs to anyone looking to sell their property.

Luke came round out of hours and was really enthusiastic about our property, this gave a great feeling from the off.
