22nd May 2026 (19 days ago)Just want to thank the team at Finlay Brewer, particularly Seb, who have been great throughout our tumultuous three year journey of selling our flat and buying our new house. We've seen everything and been through quite a few different agents. They were always polite and easy to deal with, nothing was ever too much in terms of scheduling multiple viewings on the weekend. They were never pushy or salesy, they have mastered the art of the quiet selling. They seem to be just a really nice group of people. They honestly have the best stock of whole houses in the Brook Green/Shepherd's Bush/Hammersmith area and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others looking to move within the area . Thanks again!

Shash came highly recommended by a friend, and I’ve been very happy with her service. She showed me a selection of her own listings with Douglas & Gordon?, as well as properties listed through other agents within her network. The flat we found was exactly what I had been looking for. I am now back on the market for a London pied-à-terre and look forward to working with Shash again, as she is exactly the kind of realtor I was hoping to find.

Five stars!- 27th May 2026 (14 days ago)We switched the management of this property in Queens Park Place from another leading agent at the end of previous tenancy on 20th April 2026. The Lettings team - Carmen, Louise, Sofia were right on the ball and within days had organised a few viewings. A letting was agreed at the asking rental amount with the 3rd viewer (after two other tentative offers). We, as landlords, were very prompt in responding to all requests for certificates/info/Licence etc and the tenants references were promptly gathered and approved. As a result of their efficiency, the tenant moves in today (27th May). Very happy with the service and efficiency and hope to have a long and mutually beneficial association with KF. Thanks Team!
31st May 2026 (10 days ago)We moved into a property in 2019 advertised by Sharpes Estates with a garden full of rubbish, tyres, overgrown weeds and even mice. Their agent Kyla assured us the landlord would arrange for it to be cleared, but after more than six months of excuses and no action, we had to clean it ourselves and deduct the cost from the rent. They also failed to update our tenancy agreement on time and, when they finally did, they calculated the rent incorrectly. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and discussing it professionally, Mr Andrew threatened us with eviction proceedings if we did not accept the proposed increase on the contract we already signed 30 days ago. We are now dealing with water ingress in our bathroom from the flat above, and Sharpes Estates have stated that they do not manage the property and that we should contact the landlord directly. Throughout our tenancy, there has been a consistent lack of accountability, communication and follow-through. We have retained all email correspondence documenting these issues. Given our experience, we are genuinely concerned about what will happen when we eventually leave the property. Would not recommend Sharpes Estates to tenants. -- I have updated my review and included a copy of our complaint from seven years ago, proving these issues were raised at the time. Sharpes may not have managed the property, but it acted as the letting agent, renewed our tenancy, and represented the landlord. It therefore had a duty to communicate and escalate our concerns. The fact that Sharpes has no record of our complaint does not change the facts. We do. Unfortunately, our recent communication with Mr Andrew only confirms our concerns about Sharpes' professionalism and accountability.

I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

Matthew made the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free, guiding me step by step and offering support from start to finish. The communication was excellent throughout, which made everything so much easier. Lina and Helen were also lovely to deal with—always more than happy to answer any questions I had along the way. Overall, everyone I interacted with was kind and extremely helpful. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable estate agent in South West London

14th May 2026 (27 days ago)Dane at Oaks in South Norwood was a breath of fresh air - yes most agents can be annoying and hard work and yes its part of their job! Dane made this whole slightly painful process as good as it can be - he was communicative (sooo important), thorough and i felt he was honest as well and I built a trustful relationship with him. Would def recommend using Oaks and would use them again although not planning on moving again for a while!- 28th May 2026 (13 days ago)I am very happy with the service provided by Marcos. 9th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)James happened to call me when our sale went stale on the market with minimal interest and consistently last minute let downs from the agents we were previously up with. He came round and discussed potential options without being pushy and just generally offering advice. After changing from a different estate agents to Stirling Ackroyed it was a completely different experience, James and Noah were very good at communicating and we sold very quickly with the help of them. A few hiccups post offer acceptance beyond James and Noah’s control but always easily contactable and friendly. Thank you!
