They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and manageable, keeping me updated every step of the way. Their professionalism and genuine care really stood out — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

What was becoming a stressful situation has been made so easy since we switched to Goodman Warren and Beck. Paul Warren has been so helpful from the beginning and has gone beyond expectation to help us.

They went above and beyond in managing the challenges that arose and, through their efforts, we managed an 11th hour exchange and complete on the property. Every effort was made to keep me in the loop throughout the process; all in all an excellent level of service.

I had been looking for just the right property for nearly a year. During this time the whole team were so helpful arranging viewings around my schedule and keeping in touch during the purchase. A very personal approach to house buying which was much appreciated and a pleasure to experience.
26th May 2026 (22 days ago)Dealing with Symonds and Sampson (particularly Matt) was a pleasure. Everyone in the office were so helpful in guiding us through the process and being very patient when it came to viewing properties. Never did we feel 'under pressure". In our case, we were particularly drawn to the video of our property which was not the usual slide show of the images we had already seen, but a proper walk around video which gave more detail and showed us more than the images. Thank you to all at Symonds and Sampson in Beaminster and particularly Matthew.

Natasha who showed us around was lovely, very professional but equally down to earth and not pushy at all :) Since then we have had our offer accepted on the property. Stuart has been a wealth of knowledge on the other end of the phone, answering all of questions perfectly with great knowledge and useful info about the property and surrounding areas. He phoned us on a Sunday to get it all sorted which shows dedication :) Thankyou both and we look forward to a straight forward process from here on :)
26th Jun 2025 (11 mo. ago)As Palmer Snell is part of a larger network, they had to deal with a central office which delayed thing at times. All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.

27th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)Female answered the phone, advised I would like to view a house, and gave the address asked me the price and I thought it was a certain price but informed me I was wrong and they did not have a house for sale of that price. As I haven't sold my own house I am not allowed to view house for sale. Sounded cross and didn't ask me any details. I have a house in Cornwall with sea views and don't require a mortgage. This estate agency does not appear to want to sell houses

However, the team kept us informed of progress and were actively chasing news from the chain which made things a little more tolerable for us. We were very pleased and would definitely consider using Julian Marks in any future sale.

There were a couple of bumps in the road on the paperwork side of things, but what was very much appreciated, was Rosella stepping in to smooth them out. She was efficient, attentive and responsive in resolving issues when they cropped up, sorting one hiccough out, literally in a matter of hours. Her efforts in pushing the sale through in a timely manner were highly valued. Thank you Rosella for a great service!
