18th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)We initially had a viewing with Harley, who gave us a really thorough show around, nothing was too much.<br><br>We decided to purchase the property and dealt with Gareth, who knew the property inside and out. He was absolutely fantastic, allowing us to view the property a handful of times to see snagging, take measurements and was great at communicating. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.<br><br>On moving day, colwills rang me before my solicitors (who were also fab) to allow me to pick up the keys, great service, thank you!

She guided and supported me with endless enthusiasm. Nothing was too much trouble, always available to help and guide.<br>It is a long process that requires a lot of energy. The Barons team are by your side throughout the entire journey.

Neither I nor the owner of the property I was buying had moved for about 30 years and Anthony David & Co guided me carefully and kindly through the more recent complications of house buying/selling which at first had felt so overwhelming. They are a calming knowledgable team. This company knows the locality and the market very well. They also have a great network and good working relationships with local surveyors, solicitors and the other essential professionals needed to reach a successful completion of both my purchase & sale of my property. They were clearly invested in my well-being and ensuring I (and my family on moving day) had a good experience. Individual members of the team knew who I was when I walked in and that personal touch matters. The various obstacles that inevitably arise in a house purchase were dealt with deftly and firmly, with Anthony David advocating several times on my behalf. Thank you very much team, you did a great job! Mary
9th Oct 2026 (22 days ago)Tried to purchase a park home through this agent..absolutely shocking attitude to detail meant travelling to visit a property in Devon from Kent was an utter waste of time...twice!!. They have since added a comment on the on line details advising people of the fact that there are park rules and other things to bear in mind - all the things we found out about by accident

4th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)We honestly can’t recommend John Couch Estate Agency highly enough.<br><br>They acted for us on both our sale and purchase this summer, but their involvement with us has actually stretched over well over a year from when we first saw our dream house for sale with the agency and putting our own home on the market with them. What started as a relatively simple house sale and purchase ultimately turned into one of the most stressful and challenging exchanges we’ve ever personally experienced — and there were certainly moments when we wondered whether we would ever get to the finish line!<br><br>I genuinely don’t think we would have done so without the incredible skill, experience and determination of the team at John Couch. They went above and beyond throughout the process, constantly communicating, chasing, negotiating and, when things became incredibly complicated, finding ways to keep everything together.<br><br>It really made us appreciate what a great estate agent is actually there to do. It’s not just about putting a property on Rightmove or showing people around a house. The real skill comes in knitting together a chain, understanding all the moving parts, managing expectations, finding solutions and doing everything possible to make sure a deal stands up and gets to completion.<br>And that is exactly what John Couch did for us.<br><br>We are incredibly grateful for all their hard work, patience and expertise over what has been a very long journey. At times it was an incredibly stressful process, but knowing we had people with that level of experience fighting our corner made such a difference.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team at John Couch — we genuinely couldn’t recommend you more highly.
1st Sep 2026 (9 weeks ago)I generally prefer to give companies the benefit of the doubt and avoid leaving negative reviews, but our experience as buyers with Palmer Snell has been genuinely appalling.<br>?The level of communication from the sales team is beyond poor. Emails sent to Anthony repeatedly go unanswered, and getting through on the phone is a constant struggle. On one occasion, I spoke with Magda and gave her details regarding our purchase, but no action was ever taken. To make matters worse, Anthony scheduled a second viewing for my husband, forgot about it entirely, and left the seller to conduct the viewing herself.<br>?Due to the total lack of transparency and responsiveness from Palmer Snell, we were forced to contact the vendor directly. Unsurprisingly, she is just as dissatisfied with their service as we are.<br>?I must highlight the abysmal service from Anthony, the office manager. We found him to be arrogant, rude, argumentative, and overly dismissive when discussing structural and building queries. The experience has been so stressful that I can no longer bring myself to speak to the office, leaving my husband to handle all communication. If this transaction falls through, it will be entirely down to the agent’s incompetence.<br>?While there seem to be positive reviews for their lettings department, the sales team is a completely different story. Their lack of honesty, professionalism, and basic customer care is deeply frustrating. Whether you are buying or looking to instruct an agent to sell your home, I strongly advise avoiding Palmer Snell. In the future, any property listed with them will be an immediate red flag for us.
11th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)I would highly recommend. It took an absolute age for our sale to go through due to the constant questions, nit picking and foot dragging by our buyers solicitor. Liz Kevern kept us on an even keel throughout when there were times when we felt like throwing the towel in. Her sensible advice and local knowledge were invaluable. She stayed connected throughout the whole process and was very approachable. Thanks to the sales staff's efforts also. Ours was not an easy property to sell but Claire finally managed it. Must not forget the admin staff either. Our thanks to all.

30th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)If you’re thinking of using a Letting Managing Agent don’t hesitate, look no further. Martin and Heather (Partners) have been looking after our investment property since it was purchased in 2003. First this was as employees of a well known agency chain and we then moved the property to them after they set up independently, when the service we received at the agency chain fell dramatically on their departure.<br>It is their business and the level of service reflects this and shines through in every way. Over the years there have been a number of problems with tenants/neighbours/property and the common sense hands on approach to solving these has been great and very much appreciated. It is also worth mentioning in that time the property has been let almost continuously and with well chosen and carefully screened tenants. They and their great staff have my highest recommendation.<br>It is now December 2021 and my opinion remains the same. They are a superb managing agent and they continue to offer a service which is beyond expectations. Don’t hesitate you won’t be disappointed.<br><br>It is now October 2026 and as above the service the team at Thacker and Revitt remains faultless. They always go that extra mile. Following the latest government interventions, detrimental to Landlords, we decided to sell our investment property to avoid any possible repossession issues in the future. Thacker and Revitt dealt with the sale finding a purchaser quickly and managing a very straightforward sale, protecting our interests, and at a good price. Their recommended solicitor was excellent and basically between them they handled everything. A special thankyou to Terry who again was superb. The whole team are great they have my highest recommendation possible for the service they provide. Use them!

Rich and his team were highly professional showing people around, I had no reservations about them using the key safe and ensuring the premises were left secure and safe. When assisting with negotiations through a number of potential and then the final sale he kept a clear calm head and kept us informed and up to date with the progress of what is a stressful and prolonged process. So thank you and I would recommend him and his team without reservation.

They were so quick to understand us and went out of their way to help in all aspects of our home search. Communication was excellent, both speedy and accessible, and we really appreciate their patience in getting us to the best place possible.<br>Whilst our thanks go to the whole team, we particularly thank Sarah, Nadia, Julian and Erica...in fact we will really miss them as we move into our new home now!
