Selling a property can be incredibly stressful, particularly when there are delays and complications further down the chain, but Owen was fantastic throughout the whole process.<br><br>He was always approachable, responsive and kept me updated, even when there wasn’t necessarily any good news to give. He went above and beyond to keep things moving and liaise with everyone involved, and I always felt like he genuinely cared about getting the sale completed rather than simply seeing it as another transaction.<br><br>The sale wasn’t without its challenges, but having Owen as the estate agent made a huge difference. He was professional, reassuring and incredibly helpful from start to finish.<br><br>A massive thank you to Owen for all his hard work - I really appreciate everything he did and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to sell their property.

9th Sep 2026 (6 days ago)To phone up asking for a viewing, to be told 'because you got 4 children the house is to small and the landlord wouldn't entertain it.' Surely its up to me if the house is to small. Agents or landlords since may 2026 can not discriminate against people with children. They will be staying with me one night a week for goodness sake.<br><br>Government website states....<br><br>The government’s current guidance is very clear: a landlord or letting agent cannot discourage or prevent someone from renting because they have a child under 18 who will live there or visit. This applies to letting agents acting on the landlord's behalf too.<br><br>DISGUSTING!

Helen looked after our sale herself, answering difficult questions and dealing with particularly difficult situations effectively. She really showed us her true professionalism and care, helping us out when we needed her. I knew nothing about estate agents or the value of my mothers property but our daughter had recently bought a house via Mayers and said that they were good. We looked up and down the street and out of 5 estate agent boards that were visible 4 were from Mayers. So, with 1 personal recommendation and 80% silent recommendations we decided to go with Mayers. We weren't disappointed. As an aside, during the selling process we had reason to meet our buyers. They also had nothing but praise for Mayers.
