11th Oct 2024 (12 days ago)I have to say that my experience with Heywoods has been extremely and consistently positive, with absolutely no exception. I am having to deal with the complex situation of dealing with two estates, missing documents and managing all this at distance. This has thrown up a series of difficult problems, but in each case Heywoods have stepped forward whenever I have asked and suggested very effective solutions which I have used with satisfaction in every case. Further, the Sales Manager Chelsey Tuff who I mostly deal with but also all of her colleagues that have helped me, display the happy combination of great professional competence, communication skills together with personal qualities of just being plain nice and approachable. If this sounds too good to be true, then good, but it is true because they deserve it. I am so pleased that I chose Heywoods to handle the sale of this property for me and I have no hesitation in recommending that you do the same.

Friendly and professional, she helped us to put our flat on the rental market and just one day later had secured respectable tenants and had them moved in quickly and efficiently, with great communication throughout the process. Words don't do her justice, but hopefully this shows how appreciative we are to her for making what should probably have been a stressful process incredibly quick and easy. Thanks!

They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

Their staff are in the same mould. There was always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to deal with our queries. We found their charge rates to be very competitive.

I've been in the Mortgage industry for almost 18 years and deal with many Estate Agents on a daily basis, I can honestly say I've never experienced such a professional company. They are super efficient and everything is done in such a friendly manner. If you are looking to sell your home or you are buying through them, you will not find a better service anywhere. With the help of Julie and her team, every client I've ever helped who has been buying a property through Peter James, have been thrilled at the speed in which the transaction completed.

26th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)Connells Stafford have terrible communication and i can’t believe they are still in business. They promise all sorts of things to get your business and then do none of them. They will promise they will call you back, look into any issues you may have or simply ignore any emails you may send them. I had wasted 6 months selling my property with them and i can’t get that time back. If you come across Connells Stafford, run in the opposite direction and keep on running until you find a better agent who is worthy of your business.

18th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)O* Galaxy Real Estate are just scammers No longer a tenant and still send me emails for rent. Still haven't received my deposit back aswell I was told yesterday it should be with me today. Try to claim I breached my lease but in fact they have rented the entire building out to someone else. Had problems with them from day one. Nav Grover, Kevneet Grover and Raj Grover customer service is absolutely terrible. Once deposit is payed back into my account I will delete these posts but until then I will keep writing them
10th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)We have been very well looked after by Ellie at Hunters. From when we saw the property on Rightmove up to when we picked up the keys, the customer service we received was professional, efficient and friendly throughout. Would thoroughly recommend as a Letting Agent.
18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
22nd Sep 2024 (4 weeks ago)They said I damaged the toilet lid and I had to pay for it. I asked a lawyer about it and he said it was simply wear and tear so I didn't have to pay for it. And they did not give me pictures of how the lid looked like when I moved in. Because I have a highly demanding job I had no time to dispute. I decided to get it over with and just pay them but I was not happy at all. To make things worse after 2 days of the move out inventory they lied to me that I damaged the bathroom sink. The picture showed a crack in the sink like something heavy had dropped in it. It was a very noticeable crack that they couldn't have missed when they did their inventory. Instead they noticed a "damaged toilet lid". It is quiet obvious that some essential components like the toilet lid, seat, tank and bolt may need routine maintenance, repair and replacement due to wear and tear. Too many discrepancies for a "well known reputable company..."

2nd Sep 2024 (7 weeks ago)This is the first time we have used Moving You after Andy and his team were recommended to us by our daughter who had used him in the past. I have to say that from start to finish the service we had was brilliant. Andy carried out the initial valuation whilst Nicola took the images ready for marketing. Both then carried out viewings on our behalf. Andy's marketing is great - across all the usual platforms and all over social media. Unlike many Estate Agents he was able to offer appointments at weekends as well as during the week and Nicola was a brilliant person to have accompanying viewers. We sold in just a month, in a challenging market, at just over the asking price and from then on the process was smooth and efficient. Andy's online portal was a great help and he was only ever a phone call away if we needed to discuss anything with him. We have bought and sold a number of houses over the last 20 years and while our other estate agents were great, I really feel that Andy was worth all the commission he and Nicola earned. I won't hesitate to recommend his agency to anyone who may need it. Thanks Guys

Both were tricky purchases, but Zara was at hand to help us out, Zara even pointed me to a financial advisor who helped me get mortgages and close off the purchase. I highly recommend OPA for any investment property purchases.
27th Sep 2024 (26 days ago)We would 100% recommend Mike and Ewemove for buying and for selling. We chose Mike to market our property as he was selling the one we wanted to buy. He is knowledgeable, approachable at all times, drama free, and appears to genuinely care about working for you to ensure a smooth process. I don’t know if we were lucky or Mike worked his magic behind the scenes, but our buying and selling experience was totally smooth and painless. Not often you can say that about moving house! He responds super quick to queries big and small and was reassuringly calm and supportive throughout We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone in the Stafford area P.S love the socks! Everyone at work asking about them!
