26th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)My wife and I had YourMove Perton out to value our property. In the end, we opted to go with Connells. Since our has has been on the market with Connells Wolverhampton, we’ve had several people come to view our house, telling us that the YourMove estate agents in Perton had told them negative and disparaging things about our house - seemingly in an attempt to put people off buying our property - as they have a similarly priced and very comparable property literally around the corner / one street away from ours. The ‘icing on the cake’ is finding out that the lady who was meant to be buying our house has now bought theirs instead - on the same day. When my wife rang up to tell them that three separate people had told us about the comments YourMove Perton had made about our house, we were told that they doubt anyone in their branch would do such a thing - so are they suggesting we are lying? It doesn’t speak very positively about their business and professionalism when they have to insult and criticise other local houses, in a desperate bid to secure a sale on the three bedroom semi of theirs that they are selling. Professionalism is non-existent. Although, it makes it more amusing that after they valued ours, they were practically begging us to list with them! But suddenly, they’re putting off every potential buyer of a three bedroom semi in the Bilbrook/Codsal area of our property. Highly unethical, immoral and unprofessional - you should be ashamed.

They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

Their staff are in the same mould. There was always a friendly voice at the end of the phone to deal with our queries. We found their charge rates to be very competitive.

Charlotte was always there at the end of the phone or email to answer and sort any questions I had. 14th Oct 2024 (15 weeks ago)Rude. Was expecting to hear when I could pick up the keys and they forgot about me. When I messaged I had the following rude response. "You have asked for a date to collect keys, which is my understanding that you have taken a room with us None of our previous conversation states which room you have taken Your contact number does not show on our system as a proposed tenant. Unfortunately we have three agents at Genie homes so you could have taken the room with the other two agents, im just trying to help find out which property so we can arrange your keys". Unfortunately we deal with hundreds of applicants per day, so i apologise that i needed to clarify". The snotty ending was terrible. It's there fault I'm not on the system yet somehow they expect me to provide them with all the information. Out of the 3 people that worked there could have said, oh yes I know him, my bad, I'll sort it. Terrible ans unorganised. Do not use! Used another company that was brilliant.

10th Sep 2024 (19 weeks ago)We have been very well looked after by Ellie at Hunters. From when we saw the property on Rightmove up to when we picked up the keys, the customer service we received was professional, efficient and friendly throughout. Would thoroughly recommend as a Letting Agent.
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Efficient, punctual, nothing's too much trouble, very easy to contact by phone or email, so helpful & friendly. Had previously has bad experiences with letting agents, but these lovelies have restored my faith! Fantastic service given, you know you can call / email with any issues / worries, & they'll sort it out for you. Highly recommended.

2nd Sep 2024 (21 weeks ago)This is the first time we have used Moving You after Andy and his team were recommended to us by our daughter who had used him in the past. I have to say that from start to finish the service we had was brilliant. Andy carried out the initial valuation whilst Nicola took the images ready for marketing. Both then carried out viewings on our behalf. Andy's marketing is great - across all the usual platforms and all over social media. Unlike many Estate Agents he was able to offer appointments at weekends as well as during the week and Nicola was a brilliant person to have accompanying viewers. We sold in just a month, in a challenging market, at just over the asking price and from then on the process was smooth and efficient. Andy's online portal was a great help and he was only ever a phone call away if we needed to discuss anything with him. We have bought and sold a number of houses over the last 20 years and while our other estate agents were great, I really feel that Andy was worth all the commission he and Nicola earned. I won't hesitate to recommend his agency to anyone who may need it. Thanks Guys

27th Sep 2024 (17 weeks ago)We would 100% recommend Mike and Ewemove for buying and for selling. We chose Mike to market our property as he was selling the one we wanted to buy. He is knowledgeable, approachable at all times, drama free, and appears to genuinely care about working for you to ensure a smooth process. I don’t know if we were lucky or Mike worked his magic behind the scenes, but our buying and selling experience was totally smooth and painless. Not often you can say that about moving house! He responds super quick to queries big and small and was reassuringly calm and supportive throughout We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone in the Stafford area P.S love the socks! Everyone at work asking about them!
