Sara at Haywood's estate agents talked everything through, and kept us updated every step of the way. She was cheery, helpful, and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with her. 1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

10th Mar 2026 (4 weeks ago)Awful experience with keates estate agents. We applied for rental property with keates online and the link you have to use is through website is called "vouch". We got constant phone calls from "vouch" asking for us to set up bills for the property and asking for card debit card information. These calls kept happening even after we didn't get the property. We won't be using keates again.- 6th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Excellent service and communication. Would always use them again and highly reccommend it. Hollie and Jon have been fantastic help through the sales progression and Mike was fantastic when valuing the property.
4th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

3rd Apr 2026 (7 days ago)We can not recommend Oliver Jones and Slade property collective highly enough. Look no further if you are looking for a professional, knowledgeable, and committed agent to manage the sale of your property, or the purchase of your new home. As soon as we met Oliver, we knew that we need look no further, and in future, we will know right away where to go if we ever want to market a property again. Oliver is down to earth, easy to talk to, and knows his stuff. Oliver has recently dealt with the sale of our late fathers home, he arranged and attended all the viewings personally, kept us up to date every inch of the way, and within 5 days of marketing, we had offers coming in left right and centre. Once we had accepted an offer, Oliver chased solicitors, regularly liaised with the buyer, and quite frankly took all of the stress right off us, and for that we are eternally grateful. It has been a long, and difficult journey at times due to specific requirements of the buyers “non traditional” lenders. Oliver has not been phased by the difficulties at all, and as the ultimate professional that he is, has reassured us that all will be ok, and that these are just technicalities that may prolong the matter, but aren’t anything that can’t be overcome. Our sale finally completed today. It has to be said that another “well known” agent had previously valued the property and told us that the only way to sell it would have been at modern auction, and valued it at £40’000 less. Oliver didn’t agree, and explained why. We trusted Oliver's experience and knowledge of the property market, and it turns out Oliver was right !. Thank you so very much Oliver, you are the best.…. Wishing Slade every success as they grow their new business
