Extremely happy Landlord :) ! I have been using Bairstow eves Lettings in Sudbury for 2 years now and simply could not have asked for a better service. The sales team and the mortgage adviser within the branch are brilliant also, I bought my investment property through them and the process ran very smoothly. Raegan the Lettings lady manages my property for me and she is very professional and always does everything I ask as quickly as possible, I have good quality long term tenants in which I have never had any issues. I will always continue to use them so if i could recommend an agent for Lettings I would ALWAYS recommend BAIRSTOW EVES!! BIG THUMBS UP :)
DO NOT USE BAIRSTOW EVES! I stupidly signed up to their selling my house last November and they did very little and charged a lot. Their photos of my property were appalling and frankly you could do better if you used an iPhone and put your property on rightmove without involving an estate agents. It took 5 months for the sale to complete and for two months (January to March) they didn't once pick up the phone to speak to me, their client. In the end, I had to push things with the solicitors, the purchasers solicitors and the local authorities. Bairstow Eves did nothing to help the sale apart from send long emails as excuses, and also try to take the credit after I had done the running around. Awful estate agent and I will do everything in my power to ensure people don't use them due to the way they treated me.
I use them when I was selling a flat. Good agency. Kind team that help me a lot. I can recommend them.
Terrible company. Worst experience I have ever had selling a house. Single handedly nearly lost my sale on multiple occasions through pushy behaviour because they were so desperate for their commission. They were lying to our buyers and telling them we would pull out if they didn't do x, y and z which was completely untrue. Thankfully my buyers had the initiative to contact me directly and we realised where the problem was. Absolutely awful - the housing market is slow at the moment so you'd think that they would be trying their best to make sales go through, but clearly not. Steer clear unless you want a ridiculously stressful experience with a bunch of liars.
My kitchen flooded in February 2017. After contacting William H Brown, they finally agreed to send out an emergency plumber after I stated I couldn't go an entire week-end without water. A huge amount of waste water had leaked under all my cabinet and started to make them rot. I kept contacting them to get the damage repaired but to no avail as the members of the property management team kept quitting and no one took over where the last one
had left off. So after months of calls, someone finally came out to repair the damp damage today! (2 August 2017) 6 months later!! And found that the initial repaire job wasn't done properly and everything has rotten through! It's disgusting that they would rent properties in this condition! If I wasn't 8 1/2 months pregnant I would move out! Shameful service!!!
I made the right choice from the outset, thanks to honest professionalism over my sale price and services offered. Always kind and supportive through several ups and deep downs. Exchange of contracts was achieved, not least through their networking between solicitors on my behalf. It would be invidious to risk an omission by naming names but you know who I mean! Thank you to you all.
Went in to register as I'm looking for an investment property, I was introduced to the lettings manager there who spent time going over all areas even outside of his area. Fantastic honest advice and I will be using Fenn Wright when I buy somewhere.
