We have had a rocky time selling our house, with buyers pulling out for various reasons, and Sophie has been by our side being positive and supportive throughout. We have finally sold and exchanged and are nearing completion, but every time I ring or message Sophie, she replies straight away or gets back in such a short time. She is an absolute asset, and I would highly recommend Bairstow Eves and Sophie. She is so invested in helping out and genuinely has made this hard journey so much smoother. Thank you..!!

I must congratulate the letting team of Kerry and Gemma for the professional manner with which they have dealt with both my wife and me as landlord and our tenants over the years we've had our property. We would highly recommend their services.

Matt has decades of experience as an estate agent and knows the local market and areas inside out. If you have property to sell I would thoroughly recommend this team, thank you.

14th Mar 2025 (9 weeks ago)A very positive sell & buy with William H Brown! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now for future prospects! Lisa in after sales was amazing! Tom was so helpful from the start. We spoke to other estate agents and really was not keen on there approach (to many phone calls, there only way of selling was moaning about other agencies ect) but Tom & Lauren where so super helpful and actually listened to our time frame ect. The girls who showed us the house we bought were so helpful & friendly. Lisa at after sales is amazing!!!! Unfortunately the only downside is the solicitors William H Brown sent us to, we’ve had hardly any correspondence from them, but thank god for Lisa who kept us updated & let us know details, payments, even when we had exchanged ect as otherwise we wouldn’t have known due to our solicitors being terrible! She really kept us in the loop, gave us faith we would make it to our deadline and was just so helpful at every phone call / email. She’s amazing at what she does, and like I said we would have been so lost with out her! We can’t thank her enough!- 14th May 2025 (5 days ago)David Burr were not actually the agent for the sale of my property but I wish they were! My dealings with them were all related to the purchase however, I wish they had been responsible for both. Without Richard, Tim & Gemma supporting me with the sales progression and negotiation, I do not believe things would have happened both as quickly and as smoothly as they did. My agents never called to follow up, but the team at DB were providing me weekly updates (sometimes twice weekly/daily) on what was happening with the whole chain, it was an amazing service that I was extremely grateful for considering they were making no financial gain from me. We managed to go from agreed sale to completion in 9 weeks which is unheard of these days and it's all thanks to them. If I ever sold again, there would be only one agent I would use, no question, and that's Richard & Tim at David Burr Castle Hedingham. This review is kind of my way of saying thank you for making this extremely stressful experience all the better. If you read this, don't go anywhere else. Rob R.

28th Apr 2025 (21 days ago)Any contact with Leaders, Halstead had, refreshingly, been promptly answered by Paige, she appears very knowledgeable and most happy to help. Their advertising must be good, as our first viewer had been in the first week of being on the market. Liam had telephoned to discuss the outcome, and explain that, on this occasion, the viewing had been unsuccessful, but had taken the time to give us further advice, and we now eagerly await further interest.

4th Nov 2024 (6 mo. ago)We had a fantastic experience with Hizzy selling our home. Both Ross & Lee were extremely helpful, approachable and personable throughout the entire process. I really appreciated receiving updates and messages through the WhatsApp chat they set up. I would thoroughly recommend Hizzy to anyone looking to sell their home, and will definitely use them again if I move again in the future!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
28th Apr 2025 (21 days ago)Jade and Tom Mansbridge took the keys to our property for sale and rental property almost 4 months ago. We terminated the contract as we weren’t getting any response through them. It has been more than 3 months and despite several follow ups over email, text and unanswered calls they have still not returned the keys to us. I have email screenshots and text screenshots to share to prove how horrible their service is. I will never recommend Jackson & Co to anyone after this horrible service. See the screenshot of email I sent in Jan and then again in March.

The whole process felt much less daunting thanks to their professionalism and support. I’d especially like to thank Karen, who was incredibly helpful every step of the way. She was patient, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond to my questions—no matter how small. Karen truly made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I’m very grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend both her and The Grace Agency to anyone looking to buy their first home!
