From initial instructions through to completion Ed handled the transaction with true professionalism; I would strongly recommend Ed/Batcheller Monkhouse as a solid and trustworthy agent.

22nd Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)I would like to echo the praise of the most recent 5 star reviews for Katie and her team at Emsworth in selling my bungalow which has been difficult and ongoing for over a year and previously with other agents.<br>The team have always been very helpful with advice and with quick updates during the progress of the sale.<br>Many thanks to Katie for her help and support when it was needed. It was much appreciated.<br>Thanks too to Julie for her liaison with the online solicitors and for keeping me up to date promptly. To Joe as well for advice on various aspects and also to other members of the team.<br>You were all so friendly and I would definitely recommend the branch.

Being able to contact during a fast paced lettings cycle is so important and after taking my mother in law for a viewing today, Paige was accommodating and had every answer ready which was just superb. A must use for rental and purchases in Sussex
15th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We didn't sell, had hardly any viewings. They said the market was bad at the moment which may have been the case, but it was more the lack of communication that made us decide to try someone else.

7th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)**SHOCKING ESTATE AGENT** Absolutely abysmal service from this estate agent, quick enough to move you in then when there is a problem they’re no where to be seen. Had non stop mould problems with the property we rented and when we finally managed to consult them about this issue it took MONTHS for someone to even visit and do a damp and mould report… the estate agent tried to blame me for the mould issue which is unbelievable! When I received the report, they clearly HAD NOT read it because it says there is insufficient ventilation in the property and a part of the wall had a poor air brick therfor allowing water ingress. Also noting the fact that one of the ventilation fans didn’t work, also mentioned in the report. Then they started to blame the tumble drier, which was supplied by our landlord and was letting off “EXTREME” levels of humidity… None of them have a clue what they’re doing… and now I’ve got no furniture due to the issues as I’ve had to throw it all out. They basically lied us off to say they don’t care. As the report said “all proposed works should be undertaken”, None of the proposed works except the tumble drier inspection was carried out, and even that proved useless so we requested a second inspection for the mould and tumble drier to which we were told NO! The landlord I don’t think was the issue, it was solely down to the uselessness and lack of care from the estate agent, specifically Lisa.<br><br>USE THIS ESTATE AGENT AT YOUR OWN RISK!
29th Sep 2021 (4 years ago)W Welch, well where to begin. Wesley was the agent we both sold our property through and also aided us in our purchase of our new home. To sum this up in a few words... Wesley has been so kind, understanding, helpful, prompt and professional through out. W Welch offer a personal touch which I really liked, I felt that I could contact Wesley and ask any question and he would always take the time to answer me. All in all a great company, friendly, professional all wrapped in one. Great job all of you who work for W Welch.

I'm Trace Barnes!<br><br>I have been very impressed with the whole Polegate team throughout the sale of my house in Seaford and the proposed purchase of another within the local area. Molly, coincidentally, moved from one branch to the other and has personally taken care of my move from start to the present final stages of the purchase. She is personable, caring, efficient and experienced in the business. I have felt that I have been in 'safe hands' throughout.<br><br>Well done Fox and Sons, Polegate.

Apart from that woman, they’ve put two completely incompetent people there who have absolutely no idea what the other person is doing. You tell them something, they don’t understand you, and they don’t understand each other either. It’s just ridiculous. Honestly, I have nothing more to say about an agency that gives those properties to those people and then expects tenants to pay rent.
5th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)I cannot praise MasonBryant highly enough!<br><br>When my flat purchase, which should have been quick and simple, became a very long and frustrating process due to some legal issues, the staff were really proactive in chasing solicitors and keeping me informed of any updates or delays.<br><br>As an independent company with excellent local knowledge, I would definitely recommend MasonBryant to anyone buying or selling in Pevensey Bay.

5th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Thomas…rude, arrogant and, judging by the approach, seemingly more suited to being an ’80s double-glazing salesman than a modern estate agent.<br><br>Reading through some of the other reviews, I noticed a recurring theme in the responses: unhappy reviewers appear to be dismissed as “competitors” or “bots”. So let me make this very clear from the outset, my family and I are neither. We are genuine, serious buyers who were interested in a property on Lansdowne Road marketed at £410,000.<br><br>The agency proudly states that it works seven days a week and late hours, yet when we asked whether a 6pm viewing could be accommodated around our family commitments, Thomas seemed genuinely astonished at the suggestion. Considering estate agents earn commission by actually selling property, I would have thought accommodating a serious buyer at 6pm was hardly an outrageous request.<br><br>Perhaps the most revealing part of the conversation, however, was Thomas referring to a £410,000 property as a “small sale”.<br><br>That tells you everything.<br><br>If I were the vendor, I would be extremely interested to know that the person instructed to market my £410,000 home apparently considers the sale too insignificant to warrant much enthusiasm.<br><br>For buyers, the message seems equally clear: unless your budget reaches whatever figure Thomas personally deems worthy of his time, perhaps adjust your expectations accordingly.<br><br>Once again, before the predictable response appears, no, we are not competitors. No, we are not bots. We are a genuine family, with genuine funds, who were genuinely interested in purchasing one of your client’s properties.<br><br>In fact, the experience has been so poor that I am seriously considering knocking on the vendor’s door and explaining personally why a serious buyer has been put off by the very agent being paid to sell their home.<br><br>It all feels rather less like a professional estate agency and rather more like an ’80s window salesman deciding whether the commission is worth getting out of his chair for.<br><br>£410,000 might be “small” to Thomas.<br><br>But I suspect the vendor losing a serious £410,000 buyer won’t find it quite so funny

He assisted us in deciding on the features we were most concerned about. When things were moving slowly he offered new perspectives. After making an offer, Ashley managed the negotiations and kept us informed about progress, always returning calls and emails without delay.

He guided us through the process and there was no pressure or pushy sales pitches. Gary is so knowledgeable about the market, and a genuine gentleman. I would 100% recommend Gary to anyone who is looking to sell or buy. Thank you Gary. We are starting our new life up north due to your perseverance with selling our home of 22 years.

21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)I would recommend Josh, Nicky, Katie and all the rest of the team they are absolutely amazing ! They researched the property prior to marketing it and turned up with all the plans we had submitted when they first visited . If we ever sell our house again we would definitely go to PSP and would recommend others to do the same .
