Balgores Estate agents are by far the best estate agent in Wickford.
They are professional, attentive, they call you back when they say they are going to call and they go over and above their job roles to assist.
They stand out from the crowd and I would only ever recommend them to people selling their homes. They took interest in my home wanting to know the ins and outs which is why my home sold before it went on Rightmove.
They guide you every step of the way and also help you with the legal teams.

Recently sold my property using the wickford Branch. Ross had initially come to view and value my property and the rest was history. It was sold after the first few viewings. Ewan at the branch was my main contact and he went above and beyond. Extremely helpful and always on the other end of the line when i needed updates. I can’t fault any of the team. Mary and Sarah also have to get a mention, who were all willing to help and provide me with updates. With regards to my purchase as well, Amber showed me around and had clearly done her homework on the property and development. Unprofessional - I called for information on a newly marketed property. The female that I spoke to took my details and said it would be sent in the next few days. Nothing came. Then saw thr property had made it to the website. Rang the office, and male agent had no idea about my enquiry and my details were not registered. Agent not really proactive; really got the feeling he was not interested.

Ms Terry, you have to be one of the most diligently communicative professionals I’ve ever worked with. Buying a home is no small matter. You kept us updated in advance when the other viewing got cancelled. We were impressed by your hard work and kind gesture (showed us the house before the scheduled time so we didn’t wait that long outside in the rain). I wish there were more estate agents like Ms Terry – keen to build a relationship with her prospective clients and grow her employer’s brand, instead of taking it as a mere corner store transaction.
I would definitely avoid those ‘quirk’y, lazy and greasy estate agents as there are far better/professionals like Balgores Wickford out there. Many thanks

A really good service from the lettings team, particularly the Regional Lettings Manager, Paul Loding. It took 6-7 weeks for an offer on our house, with just 2 viewings for the monthly rental quoted by Balgores. The lettings team are efficient and take on board your requirements. I recommend Michael Charles as he brought 2 families to view and we got an offer. He works incredibly hard for you. Thanks Balgores!

First thing he says is "I need houses are you selling" bit rude and so was the tone of his voice, was clear he was just after commission. Won't be going with Balgores after this interaction.

You were all so helpful and patient with a ‘slightly’ more challenging than normal sale on my house and on the sale of my Mum’s house. There were times when I thought it was all going to fall through but thanks to your perseverance, experience and professionalism you progressed us to two successful sales in what can best be described as ‘newly changing times’ in the market. In addition to the sales of both houses, you managed to find us our forever home, this wasn’t without its challenges either but with an amazing amount of patience and cooperation from you all, you got this one over the line too! The views from the garden are talked about and admired by everyone who visits and works there, we can’t wait to be in and settled so we too can appreciate them every day. Only 4 weeks into buying a house marketed by Balgores and if moving house wasn't stressful enough having to deal with Balgores constant pressure selling tactics and miscommunications really doesn't help. Having already explained I was awaiting NatWest to get back to me and that it takes 5 to 10 working days, I was called 3 times in 3 days and asked 'what I was going to do about the bank holidays?' (to hurry this up) and then told the house I was buying was being put back on the market as a result..
Maybe if you sell with them you get the A* treatment.
Buying so far hasn't been a pleasant experience.
Let's hope things improve for all parties sake..

Do not use these people as they are not truthful with you as i asked the question weather the property i was selling could be used for putting two properties on the land. I was told NO i was 5ft two short on the width. As Rona didn't get many applications, i moved to another estate agent and they sold it for me. NOW i see the plans have been passed to put TWO properties on the land. SO DON'T TRUST RONA. Rona did reply to my posting but did NOT answer the review i posted. I WILL SAY AGAIN I ASK THE AGENT IF I COULD SELL MY PROPERTY FOR BUILDING AND PUT TWO PROPERTIES ON IT AND HE SAID NO AS IT WAS NOT WIDE ENOUGH. THERE WAS NO MENTION OF PLANNING AT THE TIME.

As is the way in these things, the were a few hiccups along the way, and Rona dealt with them superbly, kept up communication and ensured we knew what was going on.

I hardly ever recommend as I'm pretty hard to please but in this instance please please don't go anywhere else!

I am currently in the process of buying my first property so all of this is very new to me! We are dealing with Patrick Kelly who has been so helpful, he is always happy to take my calls and updates me frequently. Rona has been nothing but professional friendly and keen to ensure I feel comfortable at all times. I would recommend to anyone who may be a little nervous about selling and buying a property as I have felt confident to leave it in their hands. Estate agents get a bad name but with Rona I can't see why. Very happy with the service so far.
