The Connells Estate Agents employees that work at this Peterborough office are very friendly, helpful, and professional. However, the leasing office that manages the paperwork after it leaves the Peterborough office has been extremely unresponsive during the nearly four years that we leased through Connells. For example, it took nearly 3 months to receive the refund of our rental deposit after we moved out this summer. We moved out at the end of July, and we didn't receive our refund until mid-October. Even then, the amount we received was incorrect, and we had to produce our original contract paperwork to receive the proper amount. We understand that COVID-19 has made working conditions difficult; however, the extreme delays and mistakes we have encountered while working with the leasing office cannot be attributed solely to COVID-19. I would not recommend leasing a property through Connells because of the problems we encountered with the leasing office.

Shocking and unprofessional. I was encouraged to agree a sale below market price because I was assured it would be a very quick,chain free sale. It took nearly 5 months! Neither the manager or Senior Management (whom I contacted) seemed to care. Staff left in charge to deal with the transaction didn’t even know the basics. The delay cost me a lot of money in additional expenses. If you want a stress free sale, use another agent. Never again!
