I had been trying to sell my house for several months. My previous agent was helpful enough, but they simply couldn't find a buyer who was ready and able to proceed.<br><br>From the moment I switched to Bairstow Eves (Rayleigh), the difference was obvious. On day one, they arranged for a professional photographer to take photos and a video of my home — and they'd already lined up two viewings with interested buyers. Both wanted to buy the house! During the viewing, the agent built a genuine rapport with the buyers, really understanding what my property had to offer.<br><br>Even after accepting an offer, their care didn't stop. Bairstow Eves has continued to liaise with everyone involved, actively chasing the paperwork to keep the sale moving.<br><br>All in all, I've been delighted with their professional service — both before and after the sale. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Very irritating experience. As shown in my screenshot, I have received several calls from you, and every single time I have clearly told you YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. I am not selling a property — I was only a tenant.
Each time, you apologise, promise my number will be removed, and then claim “the system takes time to update.” Really? 3 -8 months? That excuse is wearing thin.
Your last call was on Monday, where I was again reassured that my number would finally be taken off your system. To stop the disturbance during my workday, I even blocked your number — yet unbelievably, you still managed to leave me a voicemail today - your contact even seems to be increasing!
At this point, your persistence feels relentless, intrusive, and completely unacceptable.
For the sake of my sanity:
Remove, delete, and block my number from your system immediately.
This whole situation could have been avoided if you had simply done what you said you would do the first time. Instead, I’m left dealing with behaviour that comes across as either spiteful or incompetent.
P.S I am for some reason unable to attach the screenshot of the call log of harassment!

We had such a positive experience with Ali at Bairstow Eves throughout our property purchase. From the very beginning, when I first called to arrange a viewing, right through to the day we collected the keys, Ali was incredibly helpful, kind and supportive.<br><br>He consistently kept us updated at every stage and went above and beyond to make sure we were informed about what was happening. In fact, there were several occasions when Ali had more information and was able to give us clearer updates than our own solicitor!<br><br>Buying a property can be stressful, but having someone so approachable, responsive and genuinely helpful made a huge difference. Ali was always happy to help, answer questions and keep things moving, and we really appreciated his support throughout the whole process.<br><br>We would highly recommend Ali to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. He is a credit to Bairstow Eves and provided an excellent level of service from start to finish. Thank you so much, Ali, for all your help in getting us to the point of picking up our keys!

A very overwhelming process deciding to sell your house but was made as stress free and straight forward as possible using Bairstow Eves<br><br>We did enquire with a handful of estate agents initially, to understand what would be involved and costs, and very grateful that Bairstow were patient and respectful waiting for us to choose. Lauren came over to value the house and sit us down to go through the process- helping to answer all our questions, daft or not!<br><br>It was really fascinating to see and hear how and why houses had been sold and what she expected ours to do. The local knowledge and down to earth ways of going about selling houses, was what won us over<br><br>Comms when sorting the viewings was very pain free, and they very much appreciated the fact that we didn’t want to do the viewings. One thing I would note is that for any estate agent, is to ensure the person doing the viewing does know as much about the house as possible so they can help answer any obvious questions- for example, what the building at the back of our house was, which was an outbuilding.<br><br>Lauren checked in throughout the whole process and gave such great advice. Amber was always happy to pick up the phone and make sure things were moving along nicely. Tegan was exceptional in making that last big push to get to the end.<br><br>I highly doubt that if we ever emailed again after everything has completed, they wouldn’t hesitate in getting back to us straight away.<br><br>Thanks Bairstow for making our lives as easy as possible!

Used Dean Bickley for our mortgage and would recommend him 100%. We didn't use bairstow eves. Dean helped with every step of the process, and explained terms to us in the process which, as first time buyers, we didn't understand. Would definietly go through Dean again if needed.
