I have used this letting agent for a few years now.
The letting team always go above and beyond in every aspect.
Nothing is to much trouble for them. Whether its finding new tenants to simply answering a simple question.
I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

As a professional landlord with a large portfolio of properties I always dealt with matters myself. However impending changes in renters rights, and the fact that I was getting older I was decided to either leave the sector or work with an agent, as I wanted to ease the burden of work in myself. Bairstow eves with Sian, Amelia and the team at Sutton in Ashfield have been nothing short of brilliant, the whole process is speedy and thorough with total transparency, the portal is easy to use and it is extremely professional.

Dylan Beaman supported us with our mortgage application. As a first time buyer, Dylan was very helpful, he explained everything to me clearly and answered any questions I had. I felt comfortable with him, knowing I can approach him with any questions or hesitations I had. Very easy to get in touch with him via call or email, and always received a response in a timely manner. Dylan always kept me up to date every step, clearly explaining what he was doing and what I needed to do.

This is a not to be trusted Letting Agent
I rented property in Sutton in Ashfield.
Firstly I left my rented property and paid my rent up to the date of me leaving and these people tried to charge me another £950 then they lied to the local council tax office saying I left a month later when I sent a copy letter of leaving with the correct date of leaving so the council amended the date and told me Bairstow Eves tried to add another month onto my charges - Fact. Bairstow Eves lied with the dates trying to protect the landlord and trying to get another months rent from me - Avoid these people !

Very irritating experience. As shown in my screenshot, I have received several calls from you, and every single time I have clearly told you YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. I am not selling a property — I was only a tenant.
Each time, you apologise, promise my number will be removed, and then claim “the system takes time to update.” Really? 3 -8 months? That excuse is wearing thin.
Your last call was on Monday, where I was again reassured that my number would finally be taken off your system. To stop the disturbance during my workday, I even blocked your number — yet unbelievably, you still managed to leave me a voicemail today - your contact even seems to be increasing!
At this point, your persistence feels relentless, intrusive, and completely unacceptable.
For the sake of my sanity:
Remove, delete, and block my number from your system immediately.
This whole situation could have been avoided if you had simply done what you said you would do the first time. Instead, I’m left dealing with behaviour that comes across as either spiteful or incompetent.
P.S I am for some reason unable to attach the screenshot of the call log of harassment!

We recently bought our first home through Bairstow Eves, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A huge thank you to Emma Sherwin, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process.
As first-time buyers, everything felt quite overwhelming at times, but Emma was always patient, supportive, and quick to answer any questions we had. She kept us updated every step of the way and made the whole journey feel much less stressful.
Her professionalism, communication, and genuine care really stood out, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. We’re so grateful for all her help in making our first home purchase such a positive experience.

I purchased my property through Bairstow Eves Sales team and initially had a very positive experience with the sales team. They were professional, helpful, and made the purchase process smooth from start to finish especially Dean. Because of that experience, I trusted the company and decided to place my property under their letting and management service.
Unfortunately, my experience with the letting team was completely different and extremely disappointing. During the management of my property, I experienced significant issues and damage, which ultimately led me to revoke and cancel their management services and transfer my property to another estate agent.
Since ending the management agreement, I have spent the last six months repeatedly emailing and requesting the return of my tenancy deposit funds, including contacting the manager, Jessica, directly. Despite numerous attempts, I have received little to no response and the deposit still has not been returned.
It is very frustrating and disappointing that a company with such a strong sales team has handled the lettings side in this manner. Due to the ongoing lack of communication and failure to resolve the matter, I am now left with no option but to proceed with legal action to recover the funds.
I hope the company takes this seriously and improves the way their lettings department handles landlords and client money in the future.
