Disappointing experience all round – avoid Hunters Tamworth.
I had a highly disappointing experience from start to finish with Hunters Tamworth. They promise excellent customer service, but their idea of communication is simply sending copy and pasted updates on WhatsApp. When it actually mattered, they couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone, leaving us completely in the dark at critical points in the chain. Dealing with Leah was particularly frustrating; she was incredibly condescending and acted as though she was doing us a massive favour just by doing her job.
The marketing process was an absolute shambles. The photographer failed to show up for the first appointment without giving any notice at all. Instead of rescheduling immediately, the agent decided to take photos on his phone, which turned out horrible. When they finally did rebook a professional photographer, it was clear they are way behind with technology, as they didn't even bother to use drone photography.
To make matters worse, they never turned up on time for a single viewing. Honestly, the house sold itself—the agents had to do virtually nothing. Yet, they remained incredibly greedy for commission, even after the sale fell through. Graham turned quite bitter at our decision to not sell even though it is our property and our personal circumstances should still matter. Save yourself the stress and go with another estate agent. There are tons of better options available in the area.

My wife and I have been very impressed with Madison and her professionalism while we were looking for a house in Lichfield.
Prior to our own house going on the market she was proactive reaching out to us without being pushy. When we had our house on the market she was very helpful trying to identify appropriate properties. It was lovely to meet her in person a couple of weeks ago when she showed us around a house herself.

Hunters and its Staff went beyond their way to help up find a buyer and helped us with all the step of complex chain purchase. Helen is very professional and made a big difference in final stages of the sale. Dev gave really good professional advice at start of the sales process.

From start to whare we are today, the team at Hunters have been absolutely fantastic. A very smooth process. Jane came out done a valuation and we went to market within a week. The sales team have kept us up to date with the whole process. We had a nice steady stream of viewings and sold within a month. Highly recommend Hunters estate agents.

I can't say enough nice things about Folkestone Hunters.
We had an incredible run of bad luck (through no fault of Hunters, I should stress!) while selling our property with them - time wasters and chain collapses that really caused a lot of stress and would have caused lesser estate agents to give up on us and leave us languishing at the bottom of rightmove's listings.
But Geoff, Joy and David never stopped working hard on getting our house sold even when things looked bleak, were always available to talk things through (I'm sure they were sick of hearing my voice by the end of it all!) and were always so patient, kind and good-humoured throughout the process.
Working with them was a 10/10 experience during a really stressful time and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommended.
