We encountered a few obstacles along the way, but Dea went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through.

We can’t thank Dea, Neldie and the team enough for the brilliant way they dealt with recent sale of a late family member’s home. The sale was a probate sale of a house that had been in the family for over 70 years and they made a potentially difficult and upsetting process feel straight forward. Dea is brilliant at her job, knows the local market inside out and secured solid and proceedable offers very quickly despite a slowing market. All our queries were answered quickly, we were kept up to date throughout and Dea and Neldie did a brilliant job of liaising between us and the buyers, keeping everyone up to date during probate registry delays. We can’t thank you both enough and I would highly recommend Dea and her team to anyone looking for estate agent services.

Harriet, Dawn and Elizabeth - thank you! We bought and sold through reeds rains and the team have been great and have helped us every step of the way. They’re always on hand to answer any questions and always got back to us super quickly. I really feel they’ve gone above and beyond in helping us sort out some issues - which they really didn’t need to do, it should’ve been done by solicitor! We are very grateful to you all for getting us into our new home and for everything you’ve done in between.

We chose Reed Rains Colne in good faith They suggested the Modern Method of Auction. which would be quick and easy It was NEITHER!. After almost 6 mths the house is now almost ready to exchange contracts
.It was handed over to I Am Sold and we were obliged to accept a much lower offer and from then on Reed Rains dropped us.
When we questioned this after trying to move things along we were told it was no longer their problem. They arranged a firm of Solicitors at our request but it was a not a local Solicitor it was Prosperity Law LLP in Manchester who have been nothing but trouble from day one. I have reams of correspondence from e mails but it was almost impossible to have a conversation with them Messages ignored, phone calls straight to answerphone.
If this is the way Reed Rains does business then I have to say It is a disgrace.To anyone going for Moderm method of Auction I would say DONT and find another Estate Agent.
